****April 2019 Mummies****

Congratulations! Two lovely scans today. Mine is tomorrow but I'm staying team yellow unless I change my mind at the time!!

I’m 22 weeks tomorrow and we’ve got our fetal heart scan for our baby boy, got all my fingers and toes crossed that his little heart it healthy!! <3 I’m not the religious type but I’m genuinely praying night and day! Thankfully the OH and my mum can come with me, so it’ll be nice to have the support :)
Hope your scan goes well tomorrow RF :) xx

Good luck jomo, hopefully everything is perfect, keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Good luck Jomo - Hope everything goes ok <3

April is booming with boys :D :blue:

How much weight has everyone put on so far?! I've just got on the scales and I've put on 10lb!!! I'm not sure if that's good/bad/average?!?!

I am not even getting on that sad step :x

I dont feel like i am putting on any extra weight, just the baby, which has surprised me - but the scales could tell me differently

Had my scan little monkey is definitely a boy she said he wasn't shy one bit! She couldn't see his stomach though. So she got me to get up and go have some breakfast and I went back in and she did the scan again. But still couldn't see babies stomach and tried wriggling him around etc but still no joy. I have to go back in 10 days for another scan and she's told me not to worry but don't really know what to think of it. She said it might just be the case he hasn't swallowed any fluid but she gave him a while to do so but with no luck xxx

Scan went totally fine and still definitely a girl! It took about 30mins by the time she did all the measurements. She did struggle with her stomach too... Took a lot of jiggling and pressure from sonographer to see what she needed. Apparently her legs are measuring a lot bigger than average so she's probably going to be tall... And could be how I've been able to feel strong kicks since 18weeks! Also cervix is measuring normal length and placenta has move up so all in all a great day!!
Should find out this week if we can move into our new house for Christmas so fingers crossed all the good news today is a sign that it's going to be a good week for us!!!

Oh glad all is ok raining flowers! So did they manage to see her stomach in the end? I'm worrying myself on Dr Google :( could indicate a problem with the babies oesophagus and digestive track. It's not a case they don't have a stomach but are unable to swallow the amniotic fluid. Which usually requires surgery immediately after birth. I told myself I wouldn't worry unless I knew there was something to worry about so I'm sorry I googled it now.
Aww fingers crossed you get the news on the house too xxx

Aw so glad your scans went well ladies - hopefully the little rascal will have swallowed some fluid in time for your next scan MM!! Wishing you all the best and hope everything goes well at your next scan xx

My scan went well too! Still can't upload photos or I would show you the amazing one that the sonographer got of Bellybean giving us a thumbs up!

So my little Lincoln man had his heart scan today, the doctors couldn’t see anything wrong with his heart so we’re so happy and so relieved! :D They say with any fetal scans they can’t be 100% sure there’s not something wrong, but they couldn’t see any problems and they said they’re over 90% sure that everything is healthy - and he definitely doesn’t have my particular heart condition. :) Either way there isn’t anything majorly wrong so even if there was anything the scan didn’t pick up it would just be something little. :) But we’re so happy and so relieved that he’s okay. :D xx

Thanks jomo I'm sure it's nothing to worry about I just wasn't expecting it.
So pleased that you got good news with little Lincoln's heart! I'm sure it's been a worry for you xxx

Aww MM I bet there’s nothing to worry about, he probably just hadn’t swallowed any fluid for a while, it’s such a bloody rollercoaster pregnancy isn’t it, there’s so many scary moments but I bet your little boy is just fine xx
