She saw his winky straight away so there was no question about it I just knew he was a boy

Amazing seeing how big he had got and was dancing all over the place so took a while to get a good picture, but all measuring well. The technology we have is truly amazing, seeing his organs and blood flow was just incredible

Congratulations - baby boy boom indeed. So are we still only one girly? (Sorry I am really bad at keeping up) xx

Pretty sure thats a girl dont hold me to it though but boys skulls are generally bigger and a bit more 'square'

Cant wait to find out now - again, as i say with every scan, you will love it

I have just felt my first little kicks from the outside the were very low down in my pubic area. Super cute though
Had a little look in the shops for some deals but it's hard with clothes because winter ones are out and never know what the weather is like in April. I don't have any storage space till after Christmas now to be honest so will have to hold off.

Ah I know what you mean, I was looking at all kinds of snowsuits and jumpers etc for newborns then had to remind myself it’s gonna be April, duh! I’m going to start buying some bits from Monday onwards

I had a kick which I think I felt on the outside last night! I’ve been feeling movement on the inside too it feels very different to what I expected, it was lower down then I expected and deep inside like almost to my back, it felt like the baby rolling over or something I found it a bit freakish! Haven’t felt anything today though, hoping I will get a few kicks when I lie down tonight, I’m so looking forward to my scan on Monday xx

Thanks IVW, I do have a feeling it’s a girl, I also thought from the nub it might be a girl, so we will see on Monday, I do wonder if OH might be a bit disappointed though of it is a girl, he hasn’t said that but I can’t help but wonder, I am getting so excited now, also a bit nervous too eek, just wait can’t to start shopping! I think my oh was dissapointed it was a boy but we have always said, ideally we would like a son first and then a girl second (we can hope) then he can look after his little sister but i could tell he wasnt as excited by it being a boy, the bugger lol. I said you watch we will have 3 boys now

Been in hospital as had a massive bleed on Thursday, was so scared and still am to be honest! Was sitting in the car and then felt like I was weeing myself, got up and there was all blood on the seat. Ran in to the toilet and my leggings and knickers were covered in blood. Went to the maternity unit and they checked cervix and it was still closed, bleeding died down but they wanted to keep me in for 24 hours. Bleeding kept happening on and off but stopped again yesterday morning. They sent me home last night and have got to wait for an appointment to come through the post for a scan, hoping it will be sooner rather then later as I am worried sick, trying to rest but with a 4 and 3 year old it’s hard especially with school runs etc. At the moment it is just loads of brown so hoping it stays like that and then goes xx

Oh no how awful for you. When was your last scan? My friend started having bad bleeds and it turned out to be the positioning of the placenta. Fingers crossed it’s just something simple like that. If they’ve sent you home to wait for an appointment then they can’t be too worried. Try to look after yourself xxx

Oh how awful, that must be scary, what a nightmare, can’t believe they are making you wait for a scan appointment to come through the post, did they use a Doppler on you or anything? They can’t be too worried about it then if they are happy to send you home to wait for scan, it’s probably nothing bad then especially if you aren’t having pains or anything, hopefully you get your scan soon xx

I had a private scan last Tuesday and everything was fine, placenta is at the front but the doctor who saw me yesterday was worried about if my waters where trickling or that if there’s a tear in my placenta so she said I had to have a scan before I came home but then last night the midwife in charge said I could go home and the they couldn’t see a scan request for me on the system so I’ve just got to wait for one to come. So god knows what’s going on, the midwifes used the Doppler and his heartbeat was fine just really low down like near my knickers line xx
