****April 2019 Mummies****

Glad everyone is starting to feel movement... I've been able to feel everyday since I turned 18 weeks. Seems to be around lunchtime and the in the evening mainly. I can feel the kicks getting stronger too so hoping my partner will be able to feel by next week!

I’ve not really felt anything yet. Getting a bit nervous but from everything I’ve read it’s quite normal to not feel much at this stage (I’m 19+4). Scan on Monday so just keeping everything crossed that it’s all fine x

I hadn’t really felt anything properly until this last week, it is completely normal not to feel anything yet I’ve read other ladies saying they didn’t feel anything until 22 to 24 weeks, depends where the placenta is situated aswell, I have my scan on Monday too :) x

Ah yeh we’re the same day! What time is yours? I’m at 4.30pm it’s goung to be a loooong day! Lol x

Glad all is well MrsG what a relief!! Are you a Birmingham mommy then if you're at the womens?? x

We actually live in Leamington, so Warwick is our local hospital and where we have standard scans and where I will give birth, but we have been referred to Birmingham Women's for the tests and more detailed scans etc as Warwick doesn't have a Fetal Medicine Dept. and they aren't quite as advanced. So luckily it's not too far to travel, although we always end up going over at awkward times and have to allow 1.5 hours for traffic!! x

Mines at half 12 thankfully so I don’t have to wait too long, I’m getting a bit nervous for it now just want to come away from there with a clean bill of health

Does anyone know if we need to drink all the water again for the 20 week scan? It doesn’t say to do it on my letter x

I didn't have anything to drink before my scan yesterday (it was at 8:30am) and it wasn't a problem at all xx

Ah OK, I'm south Birmingham so the womens is my local hospital. Although I love 20 mins from there it can take an hour sometimes!!

Good luck IVW!! Will it be another boy to add to our list??? :D xx

And it’s another boy for the April mummy’s <3 :blue:

She saw his winky straight away so there was no question about it  I just knew he was a boy <3

Amazing seeing how big he had got and was dancing all over the place so took a while to get a good picture, but all measuring well. The technology we have is truly amazing, seeing his organs and blood flow was just incredible <3
