**** April 2015 Mummies ****

I had my vaccination yesterday and my arm still feels like I've been sucker punched...

When should you start using a birthing ball?

Time is really starting to drag now- 29+3... Feels like forever to go!

Hey all! I'm nearly in tri 3 (phew!)

Just wondering, did everyone have bloods at 16 weeks? I certainly didn't!

I had bloods taken at 13 weeks and again at 26 weeks. Do you know babies gender? I can update the front page for you.

I am OFFICIALLY in the third trimester! Hoorah! And over the next 8 days we'll all be here. So excited for us all!

Yay rooster!! :D Officially the final stretch!! It won't be long before it's our labour threads we're posting/reading! I have to say, I'm loving reading the Jan mummies labour threads that are starting to pop up!

Whooping cough vaccine update - can't move my arm without it being agonising! Feeling really drowsy and unsettled today. Hopefully it's down to the vaccine and I'll be fighting fit over the next day or two :)

Oh and it looks like the Feb mummies have their second baby already too!! :D

Welcome over Rooster!

Snaveantor - I didn't have bloods done at 16 weeks, just 12 weeks and 28 weeks (had them yesterday!), think it probably depends on where you are.

Cossie, I'm loving the labour threads too! Definitely want one of them, but I know its crap signal at the hospital I'll be having baby in.

x

I've had my bloods done at 8, 12, 16 and 28 weeks. Hopefully they won't need to take much more or I won't have any left

Aren't labour threads fab?! I'm not sure what the signal is like at the hospital I'll be in but hopefully either me or my OH will be able to post updates when the time comes! :D

I won't be doing one, but I love reading them! They're making me very excited!

Well I have been told there will be down times during labour so I'll need something to keep me occupied and if not me then my OH! Totally agree rooster, reading them makes me so excited for what is to come!!! :D

I think the labour thread might give me something to try and focus on in the slower bits. Trying to keep me motivated however chances are i might be feeling anti posting at that stage...

What can you take for sore throats and general head colds during pregnancy? I had hoped I'd be able to sleep it off, but been up for past half an hour struggling with it. Just taken paracetamol and gargled salt water. Beyond that, I'm not sure what I can do now :-(

Urgh. I really hate sore throats!

Just really sooking sweets. We're not allowed any sorts of medicine I don't think.xx

I can't wait until I move out of student housing. Being woken up by my housemates getting in from a night out and throwing up is really not what I need...

Rooster I was told paracetamol and vicks was all I could use, ended up a sinus infection that I was given a nasal spray for but we can't take any of the decongestant medication unfortunately.

That must be tough Lizzimay how long have you got left before you move?

Cheers. I'll get some Vicks later. I momentarily forgot that paracetamol is a no-go area at this time of day and just trying to keep them down. On the positive, little baby is having a right old kick at the moment. I'm really getting excited about meeting this baby now.

Lizziimayy that must be really tough, I can't even begin to imagine :( when do you move?

Rooster, if you go into boots they do a blackcurrant glycerin and linctus cough medicine but I'm sure it says on it for sore throats and cold symptoms as well. I swear by the stuff - even pre pregnancy it was my go to medicine!

Cripes. Might be more than a cold. Just been sick. Little man will be spending the morning with grandma I think. Argh.

Probably won't be moving out until the end of March/beginning of April. So I still have a while left?

Has anyone else been getting cramps? I had them all of last night at work. Definitely made serving difficult customers harder!

Hope you feel better soon Rooster!
