**** April 2015 Mummies ****

I bet you can't wait to move!

Still feeling rotten. Just got my head down for an hour but have woken up feeling a bit worse. My mum will be dropping my son off soon, but he'll be going straight for a nap so still have a couple of hours to try and feel better.

Lizziimayy, I have had cramps pretty much the entire way through my pregnancy. Midwife told me it's just stretching but if they last longer than a couple of minutes or become unbearable then I'm to call her straight away. Doesn't make them any easier!

Rooster, fingers crossed you feel better soon

Decided to do a bit of a bump comparison from 16 weeks to 29 weeks just to see how it differs. Hadn't realised I'd grown that quickly!

They lated probably about 2 hours but was just the same level of pain as period pains so wasn't a unbearable. Probably just stretching I imagine.

Morning all. I hope we're all okay? Another moan from me as I've been sick again this morning. My face and eyes are littered with lovely red marks where blood vessels have burst from the strain. Why the bobbins isn't it April yet?!

My OH has ordered his garden office, but don't have an installation date so we have no idea when we can start on babies room as he needs his study. I think I might just kick him out of his room by end of March regardless, he'll just have to spend three weeks working from one of the bedrooms or the dining room as I really want to get started on the nursery!

Aw no Rooster my mum has a bug which started off with cold/flu symptoms and then she was quite sick so there must be something going about hopefully it passes soon.

Working full-time with 2.5 hours travel each day is really starting to drain all my energy from me. I can't wait to finish 9 weeks to go!! Last night I just couldn't get comfortable bump was solid and I kept getting cramps so not sure if it's stretching or BH was in bed about 9 cuddling my pregnancy pillow feeling sorry for myself. My OH was away working for a week and said he noticed a bif difference in bumps size and shape. Only 1 more day until I am officially here...so excited and daunting!

Oh Rooster your having a rough time!! Big hugs to you.

I can't work out if I was having Braxton hicks pains last night or it was my pelvis in agony. My back was horrendous but I couldn't lift myself up of the sofa then when I did I couldn't take a step without excruciating pain through my lower tummy. I'm so far ok this morning. Crept out if bed and I've managed to get a few jobs done whilst I'm pain free, sat in bed propped up on pillows with a brew trying to hold it off for longer as rest is supposed to be ideal therapy. Work tomorrow tho :( xxx

Hello ladies, I am officially in Tri 3 today!!! Finally I can join you!!! Myself I can't really complain so far. Just now starting to get more hip and knee pain at night time (knee problem I had before but now it feels worse probably from pregnancy weight) and some heartburn at times. In general I feel fine but expecting these last 3 months to get harder as this time I feel much bigger than in my previous pregnancy.

Wishing all of us lots of strength and patience through the last trimester !!! Exciting time begins!!!

Sounds like we are all suffering somewhat. Part of being pregnant I guess?! I do get envious of the people who just seem to float their way through pregnancy with no bother!

Congratulations on finally joining Tri 3! We're on the final stretch!

Hope you feel better soon Rooster, am completely on board with they why the hell isn't it April yet!

CDx - that's a hell of a commute, bless you, I'm not surprised you are counting the weeks til Maternity.

Chazabell - make sure you take it easy Mrs, if it is pelvis related doing too much won't help at all!

Welcome to tri3 Graci9!

Finally had my maternity policy etc through from work, the letter from them was dated the 9th January, only received it today! Soo rubbish, need to get the form back to work asap, but as I'm on sick leave it will have to go in the post, and then rely on my headteacher to get it back to HR asap so I get my SMP sorted. Think I'll call them on Monday to check they have got it and send it back quickly.

xx

Congrats graci!! :D Not too long now!

It does seem to be us April mummies suffering the most rooster I'm sure!! Maybe it's because we don't have to deal with pregnancy in the summer heat so karma is making us suffer in other ways!!

Make sure you take it easy chazabell!

That's pants emmajaine! My work only sorted my SMP and when my last day will be on 16th Jan but that was mainly my fault as I had kept forgetting to get my MATB1 form! But it's all sorted now and my last day will be 13th March :D Can't wait! 7 weeks to go!

xx

Gaaaaaah!! My washing machine has broken! Soo frustrating, have a load of washing in there, all my clothes, currently soaking wet, but not clean. So not only do I now need to pump out the drum and wring out soaking wet clothes (not easy when I can only stand for 5 minutes) we also have to find the money for a new one, and I have NO clean clothes that fit!!! :wall2::wall2::wall2:

Oh EmmaJane....is it possibly a blocked filter? I found hair pins in mine!!!

Still resting on the bed being good, can feel it if I lift my pelvis but no constant pain like yesterday. Just researching bits online to keep me busy. I've breezed right up until 29 weeks do I can't complain. I've only gained 12lb and bump is all front so I'm thinking that's not helping support my pelvis, but I'm eating as I should be xxx

Pretty sure its the motor that has gone, as it will fill and pump out ok, but not spin. Just glad its now that its gone, not when baby is here!

Aw no thats all you need but like you say luckily it was before you have loads of baby washing.

I'm planning on packing babies hospital bag this weekend so will need to get washing the clothes we have for them which isn't much at the moment. I just can't seem to shake the feeling I will have them early so want to be nice and organised. No doubt this will mean I will go 2 weeks over and need induced.

Have any of you started packing your hospital bags?

Hi CDx yes I have but only cos off work already and like to be organised. Plus adding to it over coming wks will b easier than packing from scratch when not as mobile...

I think it's because my dad's sister has been unable to carry a boy until full term, her 1st was born 5 weeks early and 2nd was 10 weeks early - both are now absolutely fine and 1 will be 18 this year but it's always stuck in the back of my mind. Strangely she carried her daughter full term so don't know what the difference could be.

True I don't think I could be bothered with packing when I can barely bend.

I've started packing a rucksack as an emergency overnight bag (a single change of clothing, pants, one baby outfit etc) to keep in the car just in case and in a few weeks I think I'll start on getting a few other items together in a slightly bigger bag, although I'm hoping not to be in hospital too long as I don't sleep well in places other than home and if I'm going to be sleep deprived because of baby I don't want it to be made worse because I'm not in my own bed!

I haven't even considered this yet and doubt I will until about the 32/33 week mark. I guess, i have opposite reasons, I went 16 days over last time so feeling much more relaxed about it.

Happy weekend all. What are we all doing for this one?

I'm off into Birmingham this morning with my folks. I'm leaving my little boy with my husband as, as much as I love my son, he's a TERRIBLE shopper and I've been craving a browse around shops without my LO saying 'no, no I don't like it' every 30 seconds. Tsk. He gets it from me, I was hated going shopping with my folks when I was little too, so can't blame him. Plus when I have two kiddies doubt I'll have many opportunities to enjoy a saunter around shops!

Then tomorrow, the three of us plus bump are meeting up with some friends to go for a stroll. I'm lucky that I do not suffer from SPD so I can enjoy a good stomp. I kept very active during pregnancy no.1 and trying to do the same with this pregnancy too.
