**** April 2015 Mummies ****

Ooop, I'm edging ever so nearer to being an Official Tri 3 member! Seems to be taken ages.

Off for a splash at the swimming pool with the family this morning.

Is everyone more or less sorted for baby? We still have made no headway with the nursery, my OH works from home and wants to keep it as a study for as long as possible. We're planning on getting a Garden Office so he has an office, but this could take 12 weeks to arrive and be built - which means i'll be 39 weeks until he finally leaves the nursery-to-be!!

I knew tri 3 would be ruddy stressful! Ah well, just going to try and enjoy it all, this being the last pregnancy and all!

I have to say I'm starting to feel like time is dragging now. I should be grateful as we also have made no progress with our nursery but the room is used as a dumping ground usually and just needs stuff taking to the tip or putting in the loft. I'd love to say it's not going to take too much work but we can hardly get into the room as it is!

Hi guys just a few things left to move up to loft but crib n changing table all set. Starting to get achy n heavy now...still 12 more wks...think our girl likes stereophonics as was playing variety of tunes last nite n that one she kicked too. Also been watchin nappy changing vids n practising with doll. Getting there with it just need to adjust table height by 6" to ease our baks! Time is going slower I must admit but mayb cos everyone keeps telling us the last 8-10wks r the hardest...

Oh n have decorated nursery walls with 3d foil wall stickers. Turned a blue room into a blue n pink girlie room with birds flowers n fairies lol...anyone interested u can get a set for £1.99 from b&m homestores. Used 5 packs across two walls in middle of wall like a diy freeze but way cooler! Makes room look interesting now...hope she likes it...

We just started the nursery yesterday. OH is doing a 2nd coat of paint on 2 walls the other 2 will get papered next weekend and the flooring will get done the following weekend. Furniture arrives on the 26th of Feb. I'm so excited! We got what I'm sure will be babies first outfit yesterday. A little all in one that says mummy &daddy's little star born in 2015...soooo cute! Wish I knew how to upload pictures onto this but it's from Tesco.

Time seems to still be going quickly for me, 26 weeks now but I fully expect it to drag especially once I finish work.

What's the expiry on the cabriofix for???

Never herd of this....have I missed something? My mind us mush!! xxx
they have a 5 year 'expiry' from manufacture because plastics start to degrade apparently! According to maxi cosi they shouldn't be used after 5 years as sunlight, storage etc will have impacted on the strength of the plastic!

We've started on the nursery this weekend! Finsihed painting DDs room and ordered the carpets so its all ready for when her new bed comes. OH and Fil did the first coat of paint in the 'nursery' yesterday. They are finishing it today! I've ordered our wall decals from as we're going teddy bear themed! So will get them up soon!

While they paint i have the job of sorting all the cr*p thats lived in the spare room since we bought the house 2 years ago!feel like binning the lot lol!!

Im not at the fed up point yet! We still have far to much to do!
3d scan next sat weekend!
only 7 more working weeks before mat.leave!

It's 5 days for me till I officially move over tri 3 :) So far I've bought only few little bits for the baby...Sorting out old stuff to see what I still have for the beginning. so I still got loads to do :)))

Our pram and car seat are all ready and set up. We have 2 cribs, 1 is a big sweedish heirloom from a friend which we are collecting this week as we have new mattress & bedding, and the bedside crib is being ordered by my Mum at the end of the month.

We are moving house in May/ June so nit decorating of nursery yet but we have a wardrobe we have to negotiate upstairs and organise spare room so all his clothes and blankets have their own space. Just need a set of drawers.

10 weeks & 6 days until he's due  xxx

I'm feeling some pressure down below - nothing major, but when baby moves , can feel it realllllly low down. I'm not concerned, just bemused more than anything as never felt my son that low down when I was pregnant with him. Also, my breasts are really started to ache.

Hi :) I'm not quite here yet but just noticed I'm still not on the first page list, due 27th :) day after my birthday :p xxx

My boobs feel indifferent - my ribs constantly hurt and I'm ALWAYS uncomfortable. I'm getting horrible leg cramps at night. She likes to rest her feet squished really low into my pelvic bone. ( to which midwife commented how low her feet dug in and said my i bet thats uncomfortable. Anyone else going insane already??

My boobs are feeling really uncomfortable and a little itchy. I'm going insane prettypee. I think mine is because I would love this trimester to just disappear so I can meet my little boy!! :-) i seem to be having My first cravings and my craving? Bacon!!!! I can't seem to get enough of the stuff. Don't get me wrong I love bacon any day of the week normally anyway but I've never felt a need for bacon!! :-) anyone else had any cravings?

No cravings but my appetite has returned with a vengeance! I can't walk into the kitchen without having a look to see what's edible and not nailed down. I'm guessing my neat bump will transform quite a bit once I hit tri 3 if this continues.

I've craved fresh orange, then diet coke, then milk....by the pint and now smoothies and I really want a blueberry muffin!! I've had a dairy milk craving all the way thru too, :)

My back us really aching. Starting to radiate into my buttocks. Had a hot bath before and it seems to have made it worship :eh:

I've had an American hot dog craving followed by nando's peri peri chips and this weeks craving is chocolate mint vienetta lol odd I know!

Only 10 more Mondays at work!! This has made my morning.
The weather up here is ridiculous, at my office the roads and pavements haven't been treated so I don't feel safe walking while cars are sliding everywhere and it's only supposed to get worse!
Do any of you know if I have the grounds to ask to work from an office closer to home rather than travel 1 hour 15 mins in these conditions to get here when my appointments cancel because they don't want to come out in that weather.

Cx

I'm with you CDx! I only have 8 Mondays left including today :D can't wait!!

I'd say so. I'm sure there's something somewhere about if you live more than 3 miles from work and it's snowy/icy then you can ring in and say that you are working from home/not going in. And especially as being pregnant any workplace would be stupid to argue against it!

I bought my pram today! Got the silver cross travel system from mothercare as it is half price from £500. Thought that it was a too good of a price not too!

It really makes it feel real, I can't believe they'll be a little baby in there in a few months time!
