Can you update me please?

Had first appt with ACU yesterday, just went through all the tests and results we have had and he said (what we already knew) everything is clear, no reason for us not getting pregnant.

So, he has said he will refer us to the other ACU in Glasgow for IUI. We get 3 cycles of that, and if that doesn't work we will get at least one cycle of IVF.

The waiting list for IUI is 16-18months (when he said this my heart sank) but it is counted from when all the tests were completed, which for me was Dec2010. So really we have only 6months max to wait. For IVF it is about 2 years, but again it will be backdated to Dec 2010, so we're already a year in.

Good to have some action after being told to wait for a year, glad he doesn't want to go through all the tests again, but slightly scared about both IUI/IVF.

My update is I have my baseline scan tomorrow then starting a dose of Letrazole. Hoping it works as its a 2 year wait after that!!!

Hiya can I be added? I've got my HSG booked for 11th Jan, should have blood results on the same day too. Hubby is also doing his semen analysis this month think 11th Jan will be a busy day!

Got my internal scan 11th Jan but my main appointment is 2nd March and this will be "results from recurrent miscarriage tests" (or something along those lines?) I've also got another blood test that needs to be done on CD2 (so early Feb?)

I've got my haematology appointment on thu (19th jan)..... Will have news after that but still have to wait for our genetics counselling, so far been waiting almost 2 months just for the letter to come through. After that will need to get appointment with fertility specialist to see what to do next. Xxx
