No more updates?

I need a baby fix lol

I've had a rubbish night sleep but then I really shouldn't go to bed at 9pm, I'm trying to decide how to spend my day-do I go shopping or save my money and just do the usual kid free laziness?
Logan is not allowed to arrive tonight as my sister is out so my lift in would be my mum who hates Chris so it would be a very frosty 20 min journey into hospital x

I would definitely choose a day of child free laziness Emma!! And maybe go out for a little wander if you get too bored!! I had a beautiful day off on Wednesday because the little man was in nursery. Mooched around town for a bit, had a mid afternoon toddler free bath, followed by an attempt at nap time (didn't work!!) but I caught up on most of my tv

Do the child free day then tell me what it's like lol

I'm thinking lazy morning then pick Chris up and go out for a late lunch, he suggested cinema but there's no way I could sit in a cinema seat for nearly 2 hours x

Just on our way home from the second house viewing - I think we're calling up to put an offer in!!! The estate agents aren't back in the office until Monday so it's going to be a long few days waiting for a call back!! It's on the market for £146,950, we're thinking of offering £138/9k as a start as it does need a lot of work doing, mainly cosmetic but things like kitchen, bathroom, carpets, plastering etc. I hope they don't think that's too cheeky an offer!! It was the owners that showed us round today, they seemed lovely. Keep all your fingers and toes crossed for us. Xxx

I don't think that's too cheeky! Someone actually offered my mum £85,000 on her house in the market for £120,000 now THAT is cheeky!!

I've done three lots of washing and two lots of ironing, sorted out my little boys drawers and been out for a patch test for my eyebrow dye next week and a spot of lunch. Tonight I'll do more ironing, and have pizza!

I tied on an old dress today (without any stretch) one size up from what I was wearing before I was pregnant and it actually fits over my bump! Crazy

Oh wow!! Maybe we should offer £100,000 then?! Haha

Sounds like you've been super busy. We had pizza last night, then had chips by the river this afternoon - feel like I should treat my body nicely tonight and have a salad, just a shame I hate the stuff

I bet that made you feel good :-) crazy how clothes are sized so differently. That's reminded me that we've been invited to a wedding reception next weekend, need to get us all outfits sorted, although not 100% sure we'll definitely be going yet, probably won't decide until they day. Xx

Ended up going to McDonald's followed by a stroll round asda living...bought a play mat (literally the only thing I haven't got) then had a costa and now back at home watching Adam sander films (courtesy of sky), got really bad back ache again so just had some paracetamol. The weather here has turned and it's now raining :( only thing left to do today is take me sister and friend out to the other side of the city ready for their night out...not jealous in the slightest!

Not cheeky at all Jenni!! Our house was on for £160k, they accepted £125k in the end because of the amount of work it needed (more than cosmetic: full DPC, new kitchen, new bathroom, new carpets/flooring throughout, rewire, new Windows). Someone had been living in it before we bought it though, so it would have been liveable if we'd really tried!!

It's been an absolutely beautiful day here but I've been all afternoon in work! Means I can finish just after 12 on Wednesday though! Really happy about that!!

I actually haven't bought any maternity clothes this time and I'm
Bigger than last time bump wise. I lost 4st before getting pregnant and my big lady jeans I wore while I was loosing weight still fit! The shirt that didn't fasten around Mr Stomach now does! It's madness!

The only mat clothes I wear are my leggings (which I have worn ever since my last pregnancy lol) I haven't even needed my maternity coat so I can't have put too much weight on. I was still in my size 14 jeggings till 6 months (I was sizzle 20/22 before my diet)

I just left a message with the estate agent making an offer!!! So excited, scared, nervous....everything all in one! I know they won't accept our first offer but hoping we can agree on an offer by Monday, I don't want to wait any longer lol. We've got our mortgage advisor coming out Tuesday so would be fab to have a price sorted then so that we can get sorted properly with the mortgage.

Wow Jojo, that's an amazing weight loss. I've barely got any mat clothes tbf, but I live in my one and only pair of maternity jeans - I don't know what I'll do when they're too big for me after pregnancy!
Xxx

You would like a birthday baby? Really?

My due date is one birthday and I'm so so SO happy I'm having a section a week before it. I definitely so nor want a birthday baby lol

Aww weezy goodluck with your induction!

Jen i hope they accept ur offer!!!! Xx

My birthdays 26th May, but even if i go 2weeks over he will be here by the 20th so no bday baba for me x

I'd love a birthday baby! Mines 22nd may, baby due 24th, so it'd mean I wouldn't go overdue Hahahaha!

My mums birthday is 22nd May too - I really, really hope she doesn't come then! We'd never hear the end of it if she did. Although that would be moms birthday presents sorted for life haha xxx

Good luck with the house offer Jenni, would be good if you got settled with a price on Monday.

My birthday is 8th June, 13 days after my due date and highly unlikely I will go that far now. I didn't want baby to come on my 30th birthday really! Find it odd so many of us have our birthday around our due dates lol xx

Aww my birthday is 27th May and baby is due 21st so I could get a birthday baby!

Changing the subject slightly, can anyone recommend a good thermometer? Is an inner ear one worth buying or do the forehead strips do the job?

We got a really good one from Lloyds chemist! It's an in ear one but there's also a cap what you put on that converts it to a forehead thermometer.

I have an infra red one where you don't even need to touch baby. It's been fab. I actually paid £32 for mine in oct 2014 xx
