My other half doing my head in.... After months of trying to get him talk names and giving me stupid answers he's decided tonight he wants to do names and again coming up with stupid ones and is really pissing me off. He won't stop. I've told him to shut up but he's still going on! I'm going to punch him in a min!!

I'm trying to keep my mind occupied-currently watching Geordie shore but gonna take my ball upto bed with me when it's finished to see if I can get some relief.
Why doesn't the body remember what labour feels like so that we don't get our hopes up every time we get a niggle?
I've not told Chris that I'm niggly-he's in a bad way mentally today and is currently at his and don't want him rushing round here for no reason x

Aw Em dnt say uve forgot haha! Baby no5! I was hoping id remember when the time comes lol. So many time i thought i was in labour with Noah!
Once at 6days overdue i even went to labour ward but by the tome they got me on the trace there was nothing lmao! I was 2-3cm tho, but he still didnt arrive for another 4 days lol.


Eaw what names is he coming out with lol!? Xx

All my labours have started off really slowly and slowly got more intense over 12 hours and it's not until the intensity massively builds that I let myself believe that I'm in labour.

What are the names eaw? x

Noahs was quite sudden.

I had a few niggles in the early hours but slept through.
Went for a sweep at 9.30am and she could feel me contracting as she was going it. I think that sweep gave it a nudge cos by 10.30am i was having contractions 3-5ms lasting a min.
Got to hosp 1pm and he was born 5.44pm after 40mins of pushing.

So i hope i know when this all kicks off again haah! X

With my first I was having niggly contractions through Sunday dinner and was 24 hours later when I gave birth, 2nd I started early hours, went in at 8am but got sent home at 12 then gave birth at half midnight, 3rd I was niggling alll day, did school run etc then went in at 6pm but had emergency section and with my 4th I started niggling mid afternoon, finally went to hospital at 11pm and delivered at 5.30am.
So all have started off as slow niggles and I've just had to wait and see if they developed or not x

With Noah i basically told him THIS is his name. I mentioned it when we used to watch 'the notebook' lol!
James WILL be his middle name (my mums maiden name) so get used to them both lol!

He came around and loved Noahs name

I mentioned Charlie to him a few times before and he agreed he loved it too. He wanted another J middle name and as his own is Joseph I agreed we wouldnt use that for Charlie lol.


Id just put ur foot down if theres one u really like, spesh if hea being a turd about ideas lol! Xx

I have one name for a boy and it's stuck for a while and that's Stanley, he likes it but won't commit. And we have few for girls but again he still comes up with silly ideas! It's gone past being funny when my due date is 3 weeks tomorrow!
Also had a look round the birthing centre this evening and it was so daunting! Think I'm just feeling a little tense and emotional!

I've had boggles for weeks. Tonight I'm having a lot of pressure and pains inh cervix when I move, a full feeling like I need to wee but I don't.

I was induced first time so I have no idea what to look for lol

I think we've decided on either Anna Felicity or Jennifer Anne for this baby - hubby still pushing Leia but I'm not budging

I've just been on FaceTime with Chris, ended up in tears because I'm so uncomfortable, I can't explain the discomfort or the pressure but it's almost unbearable but not painful?! I feel very alone-even though all the kids are here including my 17yr old but I feel very emotional, and sick!

My body is cruel...last night I had backache that lasted hours, low down cramping in my stomach, contractions that were uncomfortable, I was emotional and felt sick, couldn't get comfy at all and was so much pressure in my pelvis. Finally took 2 cocodamol at half 12 and slept until half 3, woke up this morning and nothing!

Oh Emma sorry you've had such a rubbish night, but It sounds like you're body is definitely preparing for something!

My OH is the same with names too, he never seems to give any serious suggestions, always names like Clive, Bruce, Jean, Barbara etc....he's pretty set on Mya at the minute tho, the first 'real' suggestion he's ever really given, so I feel like I ought to try and use it somehow, I'm thinking middle name but he wants it as a first name (which we still haven't decided on!).

Through out pregnancy by skin has been wonderfully clear, past couple of days I've been getting spots on my chin.... Could this be a sign things are progressing? Silly I know

OH has just rang me from work, they want to send him to Ireland in two weeks for the whole week!! I'll be 37 weeks!! It's bad enough him going up north and being 4 hours away, but at least then he can get in the car and drive straight back at the first sign of anything. If he goes, he'd be 9 hours away and relying on a ferry so wouldn't be able to just come straight back. It just worries me cos from the first contraction to Oscar being born was only 7.5 hours, there'd be no way he'd make it back if anything happened while he was there. And it's not only the worry of labour, it's bloody hard (as most of you know) lugging around an 8/9month bump at the best of times, especially when I've got Oscar to look after. Family are all half an hour away so it's not just a case of them popping in if needed. Aaah I'm getting all stressy again now
Heading to the park in a bit with Oscar to meet my Aunty and her two littles, should take my mind off it all for a bit.

I'm not sure but I've started seeing any change as a positive, could be an increase in hormones causing the spots which may mean your bodies changing ready for labour.

Baby is so low today, feels like if I sneeze he will fall out!

Consultant today thinks that if baby is still measuring small I will be offered induction after my next scan! So baby could be here in as little as 3 weeks! Must get more organised than I am lol I will still see what the supervisor mw suggests tomorrow as to whether a homebirth plan is possible or whether to go with the consultants advice. Just going to get organised enough as if I will be induced and then anything else is a bonus xx

Jenni my hubby is away on a course in Luton (about 4hrs away) when I'm 37 weeks and that feels far enough away to be if anything happens let alone another country! Does your oh have to go or could they not sent someone else as your so close to being due. xx
