yup... you're a 42weeker now lol

at least i know ill be having baby at latest on 4th may

I wouldn't want a vaginal breech delivery with a footing breech either babyslog, hopefully the ecv works for you next week, 94% sound great odds.

So I had the scan done by a trainee and a medical student as well as the consultant, so they did all the growth measurements again as well as fluid levels, placenta and brain blood flow. He is measuring up small still at 4lb 1oz and still below the 10th centile but his tummy measurement is no longer on the 3rd centile, it's gone up to about the 10th. So the consultant is happy to see us again in 3 weeks time at 37 weeks! I'm glad they think he is doing good that we don't need the monitoring but nervous as well. So just got to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks really.

I have another consultant appt tomorrow which was booked up after my stay in hospital and a mw coming to the house on Thursday to discuss homebirth plans, but who knows what's going on with that at the mo. But should be interesting enough to hear her opinion on everything. Consultant today did mention induction and how I can't have the pessary or gel due to my previous section, but not sure if that means he thinks I will be induced or not, I was a bit shocked that he didn't want to see me for 3 weeks to ask. Plus he had a strong accent which made him hard to understand. xx

That's great news Kanga....sometimes I think it's how different sonographers measure it aswell xx

Aw im glad consultants happy to not c u now till 37wks!
FX by that point all is well and u still get ur HB hun!! Xxxx

some babies are just small. i was only 4lb 5oz when i was born (40wks too) its good theyre keeping an eye but also good theyre not wrried enough to want to see yu before 37 weeks. i presume that they tested blood flow through placenta and that theyre happy with it. measuremets arent always correct either, they had my last baby off by 1.5lbs. and they say 20% either way, so try not to stress,

the last time i saw consultant at 12,16,20,24,28,30,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39 weeks ad this time ive seen them agt 12 and 32 weeks and wont see them again until im in for my section... im so much more relaxed too.

Thank you ladies. I think I am being overly anxious about it all, I even googled private well being scans to have one before my next one!! Blood flow through the placenta and his brain are all perfect, as are his fluid levels. He is moving well too, so I don't know why I feel so panicky about it. I don't feel worried about him not making it or anything like that, I think it all plays down to the birth and after. I worry I will need to be induced, therefore no home birth. Then I worry about needing a c section or him being taken away for tests and to be checked. I just want him to be born and passed to me and not need to let him go!

I got pnd after having Harry and I think the traumatic labour and emcs didn't help with that. I didn't even want to hold him in theatre as I was so worried he wasn't ok and it felt like he wasn't mine! With James my labour was completely different and it was so healing for me even though I needed to go to theatre for a retained placenta. Just feel so out of control and really don't want to get pnd again :( xx

Does anyone else get anxious about movements? I've only felt Logan 3 times today (I think) I don't know if I'm so used to feeling him that I don't notice the smaller movements or if there's a problem.

Oh Kanga :-( it's understandable being so anxious with all that is going on. I'm sure everything will work out fine, I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry too much for now.

Yes Emma, I was just thinking how I hadn't felt her move much this afternoon - just as she gave me a great big kick! I had the kicks count wristband to keep track of movements, it really helped me not to get to anxious over it. But it broke last week :-( I really need to get a new one sorted. In fact, I'll do it now
I know that I tend not to feel/notice movements so much when I'm busy tho. But if you're worried then definitely go and get checked out just to be sure :-) xxx

I worry about movements sometimes. I worried this morning then at lunchtime I swear she was breakdancing!

He's given me a few wriggles-I've had a good litre of water to drink and had some tea so think that's perked him up lol x
Braxton hicks are back tonight and I'm sooo uncomfy x

Oh wow!! That's so cute! And what a lovely thing for your friend to do :-)
I *think* you can boil them then put it in a bag and keep it in the freezer to keep it sterile. I'm sure I've read that they don't nee sterilising tho? Really should read up on it and find out lol
I've got my rainbow heart one packed and ready, so excited to use it :-)
Xxx

Ive just had a lil look online and ur right they dnt need to be!
But if u want u can do what u mentioned!

Ill show it to my mw thurs and see if they have ever used one before n what they advise xxx

Aww how lovely of your friend, I have a cord tie too. My friend wanted to use one but her hospital wouldn't use it in her c section so she gave it to me. Hoping I get to use it. This is mine

Well I managed to get through health visitor without crying, thank god she was very matter of fact and forthright, if she'd been anything else I would have been a puddle on the floor.

Started packing hospital bags today, I have one for during labour with bits for me and oh and one for after which has got bits for baby and me in it. Starting to feel very real now. Just got towels and blankets to wash and then I think we're all set. Only thing extra I'm going to do is cook loads of stuff for the freezer.

I know someone was talking about evening primrose oil a few days ago, I got some today, when is it that we should start taking them?

Aw kanga u have one too!

Ill bring mine along to ecv i case they discuss section. Ill ask consultant incase I have the section and see what their policy is.
Not many mws have even heard of them!! Lol

Bobkay, glad hv visit went well tearfree!!
It was me about the epo!
I believe from 34wks for both epo & rlt.

Epo ive been taking one 1000mg cap orally.. Was planning to up it to 2 caps from 36wks but then the breech happened lol!

37wks u can insert one or 2 if u want which is also spose to help xxx

Thanks babyslog, think my caplets are 500mcg so will knock back a couple of those tonight, I'll get some 1000mcg for inserting, don't want to be rattling!!

They apparently just dissolve in you so advised to insert in night and pop a liner on incase of leakage lol!
Im hoping as soon as I know hes turned i can start popping my rlt & epo again!

Last thing i want is a speedy labour....BREECH! Lol!! Xx

I'm in so much discomfort tonight, gonna give in and take some painkillers shortly I think. Bottom of my back is aching and I'm getting Braxton hicks all over the place...there's a part of me that thinks 'this is it' then I think nah it's far too early for my labours, plus had no show or anything else so think it's just baby wiggling down x

Aww hun :(

Im not comfy tonight either. His feet r pushing into my bum & cervix so much! Horrible pain!! Xx
