There is nothing like a naughty "we can't as I am due to ov" ravishing

I used my first OPK today (CD10, I normally ov CD14/15)

Didn't realise I missed poas so much.

Well I spoke to my OH and we've decided that I should come off the pill. I'm currently on Cerazette and it's doing my head in. I read somewhere your periods either stop altogether or you bleed all the time and I'm one of the lucky ones that seems to bleed all the time. Randomly I'll just start to have a period and it'll last for at least 2 weeks. My OH is very anti pill as he feels it mess' with what your body should naturally do. So I'll be tracking ov and avoiding fertile times at the moment. We're planning to try for baby no. 2 early next year but it wouldn't bother us if we fell before then. like you nat I'm quite excited about poas again :) xxx

I have my supply of plastic cups stashed in the bathroom LOL!

We're avoiding fertile times too but due to Mother Nature being so clever I am quite "excitable" around ov time [when I am not on the pill]

I've told OH he is to avoid any of my advances in the next week

I think me doing poas would take away the excitement when I do get round to ttc number 2..

I'm not on anything and haven't been since J but I think that'll change - got a message last night I will be pregnant again soon with a little girl so that's scared me enough haha xxxxx

Ooh ladies I need to get back into this thread

So Harry is nearly 14 months and we kinda agreed a 2 year (min) age gap so that kinda means starting ttc in August

I did go on the pill for a couple of months after having H but tbh with no sex drive and breast feeding there wasn't much danger.

Been off the pill properly since dec and on average have a 27-29 day cycle so not bad for being regular

Had danger pokes last month but came on this week so all is good

Think I'm going to start poas next month. I bought a clear blue fertility monitor before having H but only used it one cos it worked. We got pregnant

Thinking about doing a couple of months using it- expensive but would be god to get a clear j fixation of when I ov

Anyway I promise to keep up more on this thread- I know there's a few of us with babies of similar ages waiting to ttc xxxx

Hi there! May I join you? I'm not exactly new to this pregnancy forum as I first joined when I was pregnant with DD in 2010 but haven't really been on here since she was born in 2011. Now she is 23 months and we have decided to start trying for baby number 2 later this year. With our daughter we were very lucky that I fell pregnant very quickly. I stopped taking the pill in September, I fell pregnant in October and she was born the following July. We are thinking it would be really nice to try and time it so there would be almost exactly a 3 year gap. Obviously that's assuming we won't have any problems conceiving which I know is never guaranteed. So just wanted to say hello and I look forward to the next few months.

Hey zooma :)

Well I am beyond broody! Max turned 1 on the 9th June and I got so emotional, he is also looking more and more like a toddler and less like my little baby. Plus friends keep giving birth, which really isn't helping. We're sticking to the plan of next year, but I can't help secretly hoping I fall sooner, although my best friend won't be too happy as I'm her bridesmaid next year and there'll be hen do's galore before then. I will be poas from monday to track ovulation and am actually quite excited - really need to get a hobby!! Hope you all are well xxx

baby making could be a hobby? lots of fun lol bit mayb a bit on the expensive side long term!

Haha!!! Congratulations! Sometimes I think a happy accident would be best for us as it would take away the actually having to make the decision of when exactly to officially start trying again.

True I guess we could make that a hobby, but as you say it could get very expensive, we'd need a much bigger house! :) xx

Well I'm on day 10 of my cycle so I poas this morning. It showed a very very very faint line so I'm guessing that will get stronger over the next couple of days and my body is gearing up for ov. I'm a bit crap at this and last time I used these I was trying to get pregnant, not used to using them to avoid it! So would we need to be careful from now, through when the line gets stronger until it gets faint again? Hoping that makes some sense to you :) xxx

I normally Ov CD 14/15 so I am avoiding sex between CD11 and CD19.

I am using OPK's and never got a strong line this month? Also had a DP on CD14, whoops!!

xxxxxxx

Nat I bet your in tri 1 a lot quicker than you think.

I thought you were tempted by the coil? Or are you quite happy to poas ? I'm one to talk lol I've still not booked my coil to go in xxxx
