***September 2016 Mummies - the last lap***

Glad the babies are all gaining weight well!
Hopefully cleaning alone will be enough to help you heal.
Still getting pinky streaks when I wipe, had a panic at 2am thinking maybe I should have called the hospital but have spoke to my MW and she says it's usual to carry on like that. Have had a bit of tightening right at the bottom of my bump but otherwise nothing else. Still going out for tea tonight - the possibility of free frankie and bennys if my waters go is too good to miss!! x

Hahaha, enjoy dinner out rrs. Hoping for a free dinner for you!!

Ooh that would be an exciting outing lol

I hope so too, it's still quite sore but I imagine it's more sensitive now it's part open x

Dinner was uneventful lol but I've been getting cramps quite a bit today, I thought they were BH but my friend is convinced it's start of labour

It could be a combination :) only time will tell lol but it can't be long now anyway :) x

Hey ladies

Not been on in a good while. I'm now due 2 weeks on Monday. I hope he stays there until his dd because we have a few bits to get sorted. Mostly just to set things up and pick some things up from shops.

Huge congratulations on on your little babies. Alot of boys this month!!

I wonder if any of you will be October Mummies. Hope no one goes over too late.

Good luck for babies to come xxxx

Sorry nothing's happening Sansk, hopefully something will happen soon for you.
I've woken up with cramps, waters haven't gone but have been timing them and they're lasting a minute or so and are coming every 10mins or less (mostly less -5-8 mins) came downstairs to ring triage for advice and she said come in when they're roughly every 3 mins and a minute long.
If I lie down it hurts so have to sit back up again :-( I just want to snuggle in my duvet!!!

Have a bath ... It worked for me :)
How are you feeling? Any more progression? X

This is what happened to me. I only had 3 pessary ee though! Had a c section and now have my wonderful boy. He's no worse off, so it will all be fine.
If it does happen, it's very painful afterwards, I will be honest, but keep up on painkillers, rest, cuddle baby lots(!) and you'll be fine. It can be really itchy afterwards. Also, BIG piece of advice: WEAR YOUR STOCKINGS THEY GIVE YOU! I was so itchy that I couldn't cope with the stockings and took them off, thinking I needed some kind of respite from something. BIG mistake. Next day I woke up, with swelling from feet to bottom/hips. You will not be as silly as me though.
You'll be great. Just keep going and soon you will have your baby, which, I can tell you is worth all of the above and 1,000,000 X worse!
Soon. Xxxxx

Also following on from SCLs advice ... Do actually rest, no matter how well you feel. I have made myself sore a few times by doing silly little things like emptying the bin. I'm on strict light duties now though as my scar started opening and its tender. But really make sure you don't lift a thing heavier than baby :)

I had swollen feet and ankles with the stockings on, so keep them on or they will get worse, and make sure you have some granny knickers x

Well I'm in active labour! Was contracting since 3 am and they eventually agreed to let me come in about 11. They checked me and I was 4cm dilated! Baby then did a whoopsie so my waters weren't clear so am on the delivery suite being monitored rather than birthing unit.
Fairly comfy at the moment, went for epidural in the end!

Oh excellent wishing you all the luck and a safe delivery, looking forward to the news x

How exciting RRS!!! Good luck!!!

Goodness me sansk you're having a long time of it... hope you've got your baby soon.

We came home last night, yippee! Still very sore and then had both millie and James up through the night so I'm feeling shattered today. Also struggling with the breastfeeding. I did last time too but was hoping I would find it easier this time. Can't seem to get James to take the nipple in deep enough so his ducking is really pinching them meaning both are bleeding and cracked and I'm in absolute agony. He is feeding near constantly too. Have bought a small thing of formula for tonight just in case I need a break but worried about teat confusion. It's making me miserable though! My milk hasn't come in yet which I think doesn't help things.

He's being monitored by daily visits because of jaundice but it's not at treatment levels. They came this morning and are coming back in half an hour so hoping his levels have come down a bit. They've pretty much stayed the same so far despite lots of feeding and lots of indirect sunlight.

He's so gorgeous though and I am so in love :-) xxx

Oh Naomi, he is scrumptious!!
I can't believe your milk hasn't come in yet, usually only takes a few days, at least if you have to temporarily use for,USA he is getting something, and that helps with jaundice too apparently. We had the boys checked for it as their levels were up but not enough for treatment and they said that eating plenty can help with it as well as plenty of daylight x
