***September 2016 Mummies - the last lap***

Random question ... Does anyone know anything about section scars ... Got a feeling mine is opening up

May have moved a couple of heavyish things - not really heavy but after a section probably shouldn't of done it

It's had a stinging like sensation for a couple of days, and I just went to the toilet and noticed a brownish patch on my underwear so had a look and there are a few tiny holes along my scar some about 1cm x

Mine started feeling like that yesterday and a bit has opened, also red and leaking a bit onto my underwear. Got antibiotics from the doc today, you need to get it checked xx

Sorry ladies signal is crap here.

RRS sorry to hear your cervix is not playing ball. These naughty cervix's !

SCL love the name!!! Glad you're doing well.

Caroline definitely get it checked if it's leaking.

Hope everyone else is getting on OK. Have loved seeing the baby photos. Having trouble uploading one from here but will try again when I'm home :-)

Sending lots of luck to those still waiting for their babies to arrive xxx

Congrats Naomi! Lovely name, was it inspired by a certain Roald Dahl book?!
Still overdue, think I'm resigning myself to ending up in a c sec aswell. I'm not completely against it I just don't want my baby to be in distress and to arrive safe.
Am also team yellow but reckon I've got a boy, everyone has said it throughout, My bump is still high and you can't tell from the back that I'm pregnant!

Haha yes it was actually! We loved the name anyway but when we realised he'd arrived on roald dahls birthday it seemed perfect!! Will be interested to see if you have a boy too! Xxx

Aw that's so cute! You'll have to dress him up next year as a peach!
James is our middle name if we have a boy, it's my dads and grandads middle names so I'm carrying it on.

Enjoyed reading these, well done everyone...hold on in there.

Has anyone had or been offered an ECV - what are yoru thoughts?

I'm going to try and get in the GP tomorrow, Karen what did they say it was to you?

Sansk I hope it all goes smoothly, it does sound promising that she could feel babies head though

Any idea when you will be released Naomi?

Ruby red what are your first name choices? I carried on my grandads name as the middle names for the twins :)

Hope everyone is well, we are off to register the boys tomorrow :) x

I wasn't offered with it being twins, I have been told it can be quite uncomfortable / painful though, but maybe worth a go x

Hehe RRS I like your thinking!!

Caroline I will hopefully be let out tomorrow pm as long as we are still doing well :-) just want to be home now!!! Xxx

Breaking news! I think I've just had a bit of a bloody show!! Little bit of pink blood when I wiped. Even though she couldn't do a sweep, midwife had a right good poke and prod around this morning. Maybe the whole 'don't go for dinner without me' theory is working?!

It's just a wound infection, taking daily baths with salt added and got a course of antibiotics. Mine isn't open as such just leaking from it. You definitely need to get to your gp and get it seen. If it's opened you may need to get it packed and dressed but sounds like you need an antibiotic if it's sore and leaking. Don't leave it over the weekend, you don't want it to get bad enough that oral antibiotics won't be enough and need readmitting to hospital for IV antibiotics xx

We registered Jacob on Monday x

Hope you get home today Naomi, can't wait to see a pic of your gorgeous boy xx

Jacob got weighed yesterday by the health visitor, he's now 8lbs 11ozs

Went to the GP he didn't seem too bothered, said it was basically opening to let out what needs to come out as part of the healing process and told me to continue cleaning it as I have been

Jacob is doing well with his weight :) the health visitor weighed the boys yesterday too Thomas is now 7lb 4oz and Robert 6lb 3oz which is fab considering he was 5lb 2oz 2 weeks ago

Also just made them official at the registry office :) and almost accidentally gate crashed a wedding x
