no i didn't, i used askbaby, so when i got pregnant again, i didn't want to see mummies i'd shared my previous journey with, having a lovely time, so i found this one and it has been even more wonderful!

Totally understand that Nic, I would be the same. This forum is great though, I'd been on loads of different ones reading stuff when I suffered a miscarriage but when I got pregnant again, I knew this was the one I'd join!!

Yeah it was a brilliant night, his work went down really well and he had a great night! I had lots of congratulations from people I hadnt seen for a while, and quite a bit of bump touching which was weird haha.

Have left OH at the after party and going to go pick him up later. God knows what state he'll be in!

Yeah MrsH gosh its flying by now! Im starting to feel not very prepared, but I keep telling myself I got to save stuff for the last few weeks so they dont drag too much!! xx

yeah, it really is! wow, bump touching. i've never had that from anyone other than my mum and that makes me feel so awkward and uncomfortable already, so i can't imagine what it's like from older friends or even strangers. how was he when you picked him up? i wish it would hurry up even more for myself, i just wanna be in 30's at least then it's single figure countdown! xxxx

Yeah it was strange, good freinds dont seem to touch me, probably because they know me well enough to know it would make me uncomfortable! But people I know a little bit seem to touch me. I kinda get it, because I always want to touch pregnant bumps just to see what they feel like (I never do) but I get why people want to lol. Just so long as its not strangers, thats weird!!!!

Well he decided to stay out at his friends which I was kinda expecting, so I didnt have to put up with him drunkenly snoring or being sick haha.

Whats everyone got planned for this weekend? Im chilling today, but tomorrow im going to see the lead singer and guitarist from The Beautiful South in Bristol. Should be fun!

Nicole, I reckon reaching 30 weeks must be such a milestone! Hope these weeks fly by for you xx

my milestone will be birth! i hope they fly by too, i'm enjoying it but it's always in the back of my mind, what if.

that sounds great! we have no plans, we're so boring. i'm still laying around in bed, not really sure what to do. he's probably playing xbox downstairs. glad you didn't have to deal with a drunken hubby, theyre annoying aren't they?!

Nic, from scouting out other threads do you want to change maxsmum to team pink, supersoapie, crazycatlady, kayj & punklor are team blue. I am a bit OCD when I have since the info on other threads and like seeing it all together xx

It was good, it rained a lot but we still enjoyed ourselves. Took Harry to a water park, a soft play centre, a farm and down the sandy beach. So stayed very busy, and enjoyed a nice day at home today even though I've had to sorted everything out. xx

where did you go again, wales? shame about the crappy weather but glad you had a good time! i'm sure it was lovely to be away from home for a short while, hope you weren't too poorly while you were there? xxxx

We were in Wales, right on the south in a place called Pendine, not far from Carmarthen. It was lovely and I surprisingly didn't feel nauseous or sick once and only had a few heartburn attacks. Felt worse since being back home lol Had no braxton hicks/ breathlessness issues either, think it was definitely work and stress related. Not back in work til Friday night either, so have a nice amount of time off Hoping to only have 3 more weeks at 3 night shifts then drop to 2, so can't wait for that.

Your on holiday from next week aren't you? Bet your looking forward to that? xx

I've been off the thread for a very long time - completely missed Tri 2 I think - but everything starting to get more real now so thought I'd check back in. Since I first joined this group I've actually had my due date moved from Sept 2nd to August 29th, but my loyalty is with all you September 2014 mummies so I'm going to stick around here if that's ok?
