October Babies 2011 - Our Tri-3 thread :D

I just thought I'd do a loo roll measurement since we haven't done any for a while, really thought I'd be at least 10 sheets but was only 8, bit gutted as i thought I'd grown much more than that!

Don't be disappointed hun, thats about the same as me when I measured on Friday :)

Ooooh I'm going to do a roll measurement have been meanign to for awhile but never got round to it. I am intriqued now lol.

FT90 - With my first I brought mainly 0-3 which go upto 14lbs. I had an 8lb 1oz baby and they fit him until he was dead on 3 months old. We had some newborn outfits which brought after as didn't know how big / small going to be. He fitted in newborn for 2 weeks so I think you be ok with them fitting him. If anything they may be too big for him as they fit my little man from when he reached 10lbs after out grew newborn. xxxx

Oh I feel better now! Your bump looks bigger than mine in pics as well!

Hi All :)

One of my friends came down to visit me yesterday and today, and we went out shopping...

I couldn't resist getting these two cute bodysuits for LO, he's going to look so cute in them!

I have a huge weakness for novelty baby clothes haha! Seems a bit excessive to buy two outfits for one day... I dread to think what I'll be like at Christmas!

The one with the bat on has glow in the dark stars on it, I love it!

xx

Ahh what gorgeous outfits where did you get them from? x x

They're both from babyGap! I love it in there, they have such cute stuff!

xx

OK, been away for a few days, come back and there are two October Mummies who are in fact September ones. Really scary as PP was due the same day as me.

Bag is all packed now, head is 3/5 engaged according to the midwife at the birthing centre, pleased to say that after her assessment, we'll be going there rather than the main hospital.

I went for my 'Experienced Mummy Refresher' class last night and the mw who took the class said you should have your bags packed from 32 weeks - we've got a 33 week-er whos just had her baby!!

Glad to say mine is all done, apart from the things I can't yet like my camera, clothes, dressing gown etc.

I'm still so behind on this whole hospital bag thing!!! Luckily I just spoke to OH who informed me he'll be home on Friday!!! I'm so excited to see him, he's been away almost 7 weeks now, so it'll be nice to have him home. Then we can get our final few bits and we'll be all relaxed and ready for LO to get here!

xx

Fridays a good day, my hubby is home then too! Not sure how long for though!

YAY! You must be happy he'll be back! Hope he stays home for a while! I think my OH should be back until the end of november, that's if he gets his way with the superintendent! So I have my fingers crossed....

xx

That would be good if he's home til nov! Mine is on call till a week before my due date so just depends what comes up but he will be off for 5 weeks then!

Had midwife check this morning, all seems good and bump measuring dead on 34 weeks even though it looks quite small! I stupidly forgot to ask baby's position but my notes said ceph, long, free so I assume baby is head down and not engaged, duno what the long bit means though!

Thats exactly the same as mine hun (although not sure if I had the long bit or what it means!!).

Hiya ladies......think the 'long' bit means longitudinal (as opposed to transverse), so that's good!.......
I feel like I've completely lost track of what position my little man is in, seems to be on the move a lot!

Me too LJ...Cannot wait... Although sprained my ankle last night so going to be a few days until I can really enjoy the time off... :)

Can start counting down to baby coming now.... :)

Ouch I hope your ankle's better soon Chookette :)

Had a bit of a nightmare today, was expecting my mothercare delivery with car seat. Phoned at 9am was told yeah it'll definitely be delivered today. Phoned back close to 5pm, a bit worried why it hadn't arrived - they've only given the courier service the wrong address! I've no idea now if someone at the wrong address has accepted the delivery or what's going to happen.

I'm going to phone back tomorrow at 9am and hopefully get something sorted. I just hope the person at the wrong address today was honest and didn't just accept my delivery... :(

Oh no kelly that's so annoying! I really hope they haven't accepted your delivery! Even if they have you should still get what you ordered. I'd be going mental at mothercare if that was me! I have no patience when it comes to things like that!

It's strange though isn't it. Because I know that if the wrong order came to my house, there's no way I'd accept it, but some people are so dishonest aren't they!

xx

I'm going to go mad tomorrow don't worry. Wasn't much I could do today, as apparently they deliver up until 9pm so could have still arrived.

It's mothercares mistake, as the baby plan account we set up has the correct address, but for some reason they gave the courier a different door number! It's just stressful, it's not a massive order but it's still a £125 car seat - maybe they'll accept the delivery and try to re-sell it?
