***** October 2015 Mummies ******

I feel pretty unorganised reading this haha!!!!

Carpet going down in nursery tomorrow & hubby building my nursing seat on Thursday! Yipee xx

I've got plans but theyre way into the distance yet shelly lol

We got our travel system last week, so I have moments when I think I'm a little over prepared, and others when I think 'yeah! I can chill out now!'

I'm still waiting to hear from someone regarding a custom cot mattress I've had to order; I know I'm not going to need it anytime soon, but I've ordered it and its gone longer than she said it would be before she would have it and call me to let me know. hhhmmm, assertive mummy alert!

I've definitely got to that point where expansion has gone in to overdrive. There is a bumpogram on the go in my office; there were 2 weeks between the first and second measurement, but only one between the second and third and they're the same size!

Think I just panicked a little bit 27 weeks today and in tri 3 ahhhhhhh!!!!!!

Welcome Vegas!!! x

Carrie, I wonder whether I will ever be 100% prepared... is it possible?! Congrats on getting the travel system - that is a major buy! Can'r believe we got ours after the 12 week scan, can't even remember how it looks exactly as it's back in the box

My first antenatal class starts on Monday!!!! Whaaaaatttt?! x

And I received my stroller this morning - eek! The in-laws are going to get the maxi cosi seat and base to go with it but we're nearly there.

I was also on to our landlord about taking a bed out of our spare room, I didn't exactly get a yes, but it wasn't a no either. I've to wait for her to get back to me...fingers crossed they'll take it away. If they don't that room is going to be so cramped :-/ we need to get a chest of drawers in there. There's hardly any storage space for his things!
I know he's not going to be sleeping in that room for 6 months but I'm itching to get it ready all the same. It's making me feel very unprepared as it's all in limbo...hmmmmm

And i've gone mad throwing things out. I took three massive black bags of clothes to a charity shop the other day. My new thing is to try to throw something out every few days. The amount of crap you accumulate is shocking! (e.g. 15 year old nail varnishes!)

Well - Blood results are back, all is well! :) yipeeee! he might be the wrong way round, but at this stage that doesn't matter too much. I have a fit to fly form for Sunday, so holiday here we come :)

Nursery is now finished (minus mattress for cot) and my big boys have moved into their new room :) everyone is happy - today!

Glad we all seem to be heading towards the finish line with lovely new purchases and things falling into place :)

great news! enjoy your holiday :)

I took a letter with me when we went away a few weeks ago and I was glad I had it! on the way home I was asked if I was ok to fly and it was great to be able to produce the letter from my doctor. I was only 24 weeks at the time...for weeks I had no bump to speak of, but the last few weeks I'm ginormous! A friend of mine is 40 weeks and I think my bump is only a tiny bit smaller than hers. I know I shouldn't make comparisons but it's hard not to!

Oh I'm huge! no denying that! I am measuring 29! and look like I have a small hippo up my top! lol

My belly has also expanded and is always the first thing you see when I walk in the door... the bump comes first and in a wee while I follow

Actually it is becoming more and more uncomfortable to sleep at night! I currently sleep with a pillow under my belly, another behind my back and the pregnancy long pillow between my knees!!! Turning from side to side has never been this complected

I've no idea what I'm measuring but I had a growth scan last Friday and he's measuring two weeks ahead and his head circumference is in the 95th percentile!!! I'm only 5'0 and my husband is a shorty too...we do have taller family members, maybe he has those genes???? Either way pushing him out is going to be tricky, although my consultant isn't at all concerned :-/

I hear ya about sleeping karolina, I have to keep my knees together when I switch sides or else I get horribly stabby pains in my groin. Seem to be getting rib pain at night as well, I don't think there's much room in there for him :)

I'm measuring over a wk a head, had mw yesterday, started to worry a bit only with previous pregnancies I was always a couple cms behind and one of my babies turned out quite big- so god knows how big this one will be!

I'm sleeping very well, only prob is our bed its self- hoping to order a new one once our rooms been painted x

Well i had my mw appt today
Forgot to ask for my mat b1 form again!!
There were no nurses available for my whooping cough vaccine today so will get it in 3 weeks time at my next mw appt
My bloods came back from 2 weeks ago... Apparently theyre fine albeit my iron is lower than last time but still within the normal range
She measured my bump... According to the line on the chart shes put a dot at around 90th percentile!

I start my antenatal classes next week too khtw!
Shoulda started 3 weeks ago but doing last 3 of this one and first 3 in next session so it is fresher in my mind xx

My 1st antenatal class is 3 weeks today, the 1st course the wanted to book me on ran until the 8th Oct ... my due date is the 6th!

Woke up this morning with a headache :( hope im not going to have another few weeks of them (i had them for about 4 weeks earlier in pregnancy).

Hope everyone keeping well :)

Are we all back together now? All the October mummies in Tri3? xx

I still have friends I see now from my anti natal class - 10 years on!! :) enjoy ladies :)

I only have today and tomorrow left until my holiday! I can't wait! I hate getting up at 6am!

My head is also banging, I think it may be the weather, it feels a little close to me...

I think we are all back together on Friday... for the final innings! Tri 3 goes so fast, only August and September mummies to deliver now, then we are up ladies! eeeek!

Hope your headaches go away quickly, nothing worse than to wake up with one! x

Can't wait for all of us to share this Tri 3 thread! Time is really flying... x

I'm here as of tomorrow :-)

So bored and fed up, because I got signed off for 2 weeks due to spd my work has said that I have to start maternity leave straight after so I'm off sick till the 9th and then my maternity starts!

Think this last tri is defiantly going to drag xx

Sorry month hopping but first time mum that's illegal they cant do that, they can only start your mat leave early if youre off sick with pregnancy related sickness 4 weeks before your due date, so 36 weeks x
