I hope you get a good night's sleep in there and that there's not too much noise! What's their plan if your bp is still high tomorrow? My dr was going to induce tomorrow if mine hadn't come back down today...

BP came right down after meds so if the bloods confirm there is no pre-eclampsia I will most likely go home tomorow

There is no way I am getting any sleep tonight with all the equipment beeping aroung and the MW checking BP and baby's heartbeat every so often. Hopefully will get some sleep in my own bed tomorrow x

After the initial scare of pre-eclampsia and possible need for induction, the BP has settled down and bloods came back ok! I am happy to be able to go home
After the horror of getting internal examination last night I am now absolutely dreading the sweep tomorrow

Good news karolina.

Try to relax as much as possible for the sweep. If you've done hypnobirthing or practised breathing in antenatal then use this. Tell whoever is doing it so they all8w you time to get in the zone. Good luck hon, and eye on the prize now. Xxx

Thanks you! I tried deep breaths for the internal but it did nothing for me, the pain was the only thing I could focus on. I am probably a big wimp that's all. I have already warned my MW and will do it again before the sweep x

You can get gas and air for internals and sweeps
Breathe for20 to30 seconds before they start for it to take effect x

Glad your getting home and BP is behaving it's self.

Everything here has pretty much slowed right down. I managed to get a good night sleep last night until both mine and hubby's car alarms started going off within a few seconds of each other. We looked and checked back on the CCTV camera that's outside and don't see anything. It was just so strange how they both started going off.

Change of plans!!!!!!! Just seen the consultant and they are going ahead with the induction - total contradiction to what the MW said to me this morning!!!!!

Just waiting to get the 24hr pessary inserted. I asked for gas and air this time! Whis me luck, it is going to be long couple of days... x

If I don't come on here every hour I miss loads lol its all go with these Oct babbas!!!
My contractions have stopped since last night booo, just feel heavy, sick, exhausted and achey today don't think I'll be queue jumping.

Me neither bunny! No more discharge since my sweep and I'm not getting any change in these cramps. Think it'll be induction for me next Monday
