***** October 2015 Mummies ******

Could it be blood pressure maybe caused by baby dropping lower down suddenly maybe?? Worth ringing your mw or maternity triage just to be Safe?

Oh Fliss I'm so jealous of your tummy sleeping  hope you're having a better day feeding your little squidge xx

No idea bunnykins
Im lying on my side to see if it makes any difference

Hubby says i turned white
When i sat down i got flushed

Somethings not quite right either way x

It can't hurt to ring one of the numbers on your notes and get your blood pressure checked?? You haven't got any swelling have you?
Could it be blood sugar had you eaten??

Does sound like your blood pressure MrsS, no harm in getting it checked. I had similar kind of situation yesterday but I hadn't eaten properly all day, I reckon it was my blood sugars.

I would love to sleep on my front, well jel

Any updates Shelly?

My husband is the same with the gooeyness too, it's so cute :)

Gail, get it checked - no arguing lol!!

Still here girls, baby is playing silly buggers!! Eviction notice has been served, bits of plug etc coming away xx

I had eaten porridge with jam and had an oasis from mcdonalds
I didn't feel weak generally just after he shifted and i had that pressure down low that i started goimg funny
Once id sat it eased again

Midwife thought hes just pressed on a nerve or artery and sent me funny
She said the fact it improved sitting on the floor and was ok more or less afterwards then its righted itself x

Gail how odd, nothing worst than not knowing what is happening to your body. Maybe its your BH getting stonger? When I get a big one my chest tightens and I get a flush of heat on my face. Hope you find out what it was x

Hope you are ok Gail. Doesn't sound nice. My days of walking round shops are over. Always feel too light headed and dizzy.

I have packed myself a hand luggage size case. I'm not taking excess stuff, as we don't live too far away and it's very easy for someone to bring anything else I need if I'm in for longer. I won't want hubby staying with me for too long anyway LOL.
And baby just has a large overnight bag of mine, again packing very minimal.

We need to put the new isofix base in the car. And get the bouncy chair and play gym down from loft and all washed etc... Starting to get very very real.

I think it was just the low pressure was him pressed against an artery that affected my blood pressure
It was horrible
The worst bit was like having something heavy on my chest. I just couldnt get a full breath in.
Dont think it was Braxton hicks though. I didn't have any tightenings or bump go hard
Definitely my BP going whacky straight after that intense pain down low x

This thread is hotting up ladies! how exciting - two babies :) congratulations Stacey xx

I was just sat at home crying my eyes out as had to give away my tortoise tonight (no room for him and the baby as he was in what will be the nursery, and I've no energy or time to care for him) the guilt at giving him up is awful and I'm gonna miss him so much. My little boy was heartbroken...until I promised that he was getting a robot fish from Spike as a goodbye present then he was miraculously fine!!!
Then I came on Facebook and saw Stacey's shock news and it really cheered me up!! I'm loving all these babies starting to arrive it's such a great time to be an October mummy :)

Sorry about your tortoise
The fact youre upset shows you're making the best decision for him and not because you just cant be bothered x

Congratulations Stacey!

Rachael you're making the right decision for him xx

Congrats Stacey, fantastic news!!! More announcements like this please :) :) :)

Sorry about your tortoise, I'm sure you found him a good home x

I think my wee yin is hanging out for Monday!! It's been a long weekend & that's only been from yesterday - feels like we're just waiting xx

I sympathise. My count down to induction was hard but at least the end is in site. Try to enjoy today for what it is.
Congratulations Stacey.
