***** October 2015 Mummies ******

Oh Georges mum sounds like your body wants your baby out now...fingers crossed you can hang in there a little longer! You'll be meeting your little baba soon not long left now, you have done so well x

Oh ladies, I'm so ready to have this baby now! Really beginning to feel fed up with this whole pregnancy thing, can't sleep, have intense pain in hips & trouble walking now ( my sympathies to those with severe SPD, I do not know how you are coping!), really tired, especially running round after an active toddler, yet when I go to bed can't get to sleep grrrr! Have sore tongue, feel huge like a whale. Also am now being monitored twice a week as BP is hovering around 130/80ish. Worst thing is I don't feel labour is imminent at all, & I'm terrified I won't get my VBAC or at least a try at it, I'm worried that the further along I get the more chance there is for PE to reoccur or problems with placenta! Sorry for the moan.
I'm not even half as organised as I would like to be, but I would be happen to go into labour naturally any time now, as I fear the longer I go the more chance I will end up with another c section........ How is everyone else feeling?
Flies, good luck for tomorrow, sounds like you might just need a little nudge, looking forward to hearing your birth story, & hoping I will be joining you soon. X

Georgesmum, how scary, hoping the steroids have time to work & you have your little one safe in your arms as soon as it is safe to do so. Sending you big virtual hugs xxx

Barbara, keeping everything x for you and baby. How scary it must be.

I don't know how the wifi is up on the wards, so hopefully my bump buddy will keep labour thread updated tomorrow! Very excited/terrified/relieved now to be at the end of my pregnancy #6 journey.

Hang in there everyone who's having rotten time. Shona, hope you get your vbac. Shelley, stay off the sanding ceilings jobs!!!

Fliss best of luck for tomorrow, can't wait to see picture of your wee bundle!!

I'll try .... I get bored easily lol xx

Quick Q... Can heartburn/indegestion come across as chest pain??

Good luck tomorrow Felicity
Michelle im not surprised you're in the bad books
Vegas check page 1 i think it has everyone's due dates on
Barbara keep us posted please. Hope it goes well
Sharmon i still sympathise with the sore tongue

I've barely eaten today
Just feel sick. Feels like tri 1 all over again!
I was stood out by the back door in the pouring rain at 630 this morning heaving... Mainly cos I've no sink to wretch into. But i didnt think id make it to the bathroom upstairs in time otherwise!!

All the best of luck for tomorrow Fliss :hugs:  will be thinking of you and looking forward to updates on our first Octo-bundle :) x

Sorry you are feeling fed up now Sharmon, we get to a point then break a little it's an emotional rollercoaster at times isn't it! x I don't think 130/80 is that bad for BP at this stage of pregnancy so if it stays there then that's fine, I'm sure you'll get your vbac hun.

Shona my BP is sitting about 135/85 on Labetanol (spelling) & they seem happy to leave me until next week (FTM though with no previous history).

I can't sleep for pain on right hand side, feels like trapped wind :( I'm shattered though, was up most of last night too :( xx

37 weeks tomorrow... With Fliss being induced today and Barbara also looking like she will be having baby cuddles in not too long, it's just dawning on me that the big day is fast approaching - and that I could, in reality, pop any day from now!

I was thinknh the same Petchy! Best case my sweep on Friday works & we have baby this weekend/early next week, worse case I go in for induction next week!

They're not letting me go past my due date which is 2 weeks today!! Scary!!! Lol

I've had about 2 hours sleep maximum (on the couch), the baby does not want me to sleep :( xx

thanks all

Fliss, good luck!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing your beautiful baby very soon.

OMG so much happening on here :) best of luck today fliss! i hope you have baby cuddles very soon Georgesmum!

Can't believe we're all at this stage, it feels like only a month ago I got my positive test. Next we'll be saying 'how fast they grow up!'

Had my consultant appointment yesterday evening and all looking good. The little monkey's growth has slowed down a bit which is a good thing, he's still coming in at 6 and a half pounds (which is the same as two weeks ago) but she says it's not that he's stopped growing, just that it's evened out if you know what I mean.

I was convinced she was going to give me an induction date but the plan now is to give me a sweep next Monday when I'll be 37 weeks and then see what happens. I don't think she wants to commit to anything just yet in case the sweep works. I'll be keeping an eye on your post-sweep progress Shelley!

I need to get drinking raspberry leaf tea...

Good luck today, Fliss!! Will be keeping my fingers and toes crossed and waiting for the good news :hugs:

Good luck today Fliss, I'm so excited for you I'll be on edge until I know you're having baby cuddles!!!
Barbara sorry to hear you had a scare yesterday, my sister's baby had the steroid injections when she gave birth at 32 weeks and he was born able to breathe without help and is a bouncing bonny one year old now! So you're much further along than she was. Hope you're having cuddles soon if just to stop all these worries and scares you keep getting.

I'll keep you's all updated on Friday lol!!

You don't have any problems with your blood pressure before you start the raspberry leaf tea? Xx

I think all these October babies are going to be a handful, they sure like to be trying us all the now lol xx

I'm in major nostalgia mode today had my first raspberry leaf tea and the taste and smell have just took me right back to last time!! I also have a pile of Noahs baby clothes washed and ready to put away and I can remember him in every single one of them!!!
The only problem is my flashbacks are of me chilled out relaxing on the sofa so calm and ready for labour, just knitting and watching TV, fast forward to now my house is a mess there are toys everywhere, I've got porridge to clean off the table, there is a shouty boy asking me to transform his bumblebee transformer every 10 seconds and I still have poo to clean off the toilet from his morning explosion!!! Sigh!!! I wouldn't have it any other way, they grow up from babies so fast but they just get more amazing!!!!
