***** October 2015 Mummies ******

I'll probably be signed off until next Wednesday
If so I'll have 27 days left of work finishing on the 2nd October
Although feeling the way I am i might choose to go off sooner
7 full working weeks til im off for a whole year!!

Im prepared babywise but honestly feel so unprepared with getting my kitchen ripped out
Im seriously having anxiety over it now
The place will be a riot but once its done i can enjoy my new baby in my fully redecorated house (literally every room top to bottom if hubby completes everything on the checklist lol)

Itll all be right in the end x

I dont mind how i sleep but i physically cant lie on my back anymore
So i flip between left and right even though normally id fall asleep on my left and wouldnt move again til morning x

6 weeks for me too - but I'm only part time and have a few days off here and there so 14.5 actual days at work! Eeek!

A completely redecorated house sounds amazing! We're just doing our hallway at the mo - after I've hated it for 3 years since we moved in! Our bedroom next, but probs next year when I'm back at work and earning again! xx

Hi ladies,

Can't believe I'm 33 weeks now. Only 5 to go! Eeek! 2 weeks left at work from next week.

Had to use up some leave this week, so spending a happy few days getting stuff at home sorted out, and getting my appraisal sorted so I can go off on mat leave with that piece of stress behind me.

Going off to Dorset for a few days to my folks from tomorrow eve so hoping for some nice weather and beach action, Jess loves the beach.

x

Holidays! Happy time, Fliss! Hope you have great weather and loads of fun with Jess x

33 weeks! This is crazy! We will all be contracting before we know it

I've got 3 weeks left at work woo hoo can't wait for a rest! Well as much as it can be with a nearly 4 yr old making me play dinosaurs!!

Saw the mw yesterday and explained about my awful reflux and she said as I had about 8 weeks to go I should get a prescription for it. I'm only 30 weeks and she's saying I only have 8 weeks left does she know something I don't lol!!!! I'm convinced I'll go 2 weeks over like I did with ds not 2 weeks bloody early lol!!!!

Technically full term starts as we enter week 38 so fingers crossed the babies won't make us wait till week 42 :-?

Ah right makes sense now!!! I was 41+2 with my first I think I'll go that this time too, just a gut feeling! I'm refusing stretch and sweeps this time as had 4 last time and they did nothing but hurt!!!!!

To be honest I am dreading the stretch and sweeps!! Especially after having very bad experience with last years smear test (I think the nurse was horrible as I've never experienced pain like that before and it wasn't my first screening!!!!)

I am hoping my daughter is kind enough to spare me the suffering and that she will be nice and easy to push out

Who has what left to do then x

This is my list:
1. Buying car seat base today
2. Washing clothes 1st week of September
3. Packing bag once clothes are dry
4. Starting general cleaning and set up with hubby w/c 21st September
5. Waiting, waiting, waiting...

I've got 'getting car valeted' on my list of stuff to do aswell
Dont want a nice new baby in nice new clothes in a nice new car seat in a minging car lol
I'll even be buying new mats for the floor cos mine are wrecked

I aim to have the house spotless so might aswell have the car spangly too x

Oh yes, right! Gotta clean the car too!!!! Will add this to Hubby's list :)

All sounds organised round here!

I had 3 sweeps last time and none of them hurt but I think it depends on how favourable your cervix is. I was already 2 cm dilated when they started doing the sweeps.

Bunny you can have omeprazole safely in pregnancy but you will need a prescription. I'm taking it and much happier for it!

Just back from the docs and she's put me on rinitine or something like that, said it's safe when pregnant? I have a twice a day dose so will see how it goes if it doesn't work I'll ask about the omeprazole. Will try anything to stop it!!!!

Yeah I might have just had a bad midwife, there was blood on her gloves when she finished and it hurt, plus did nothing at all to bring on labour so I'm standing my ground, crossing my legs and point blank refusing one this time!!!!

Favourable means that's it's softening and stretching and far as I am aware.xx

Love the idea of a car valet on the to do list girls.

I don't have much to do. Wash clothes and pack my bag and babies bag.
I'm not going overboard. I'm hoping to be in and out.

I'v done some serious online shopping and I think I'm all done.
I have decided to buy the Stokke Xplory pram with the winter fur set as a treat.
I'v found myself buying loads of wee luxuries this time because we didn't have the expensive outlay the same as our 1st.

I'm looking for some nice new pyjamas and housecoat etc for my hospital bag.
