***** October 2015 Mummies ******

Wow can't believe I'm at 31 weeks! We got our uppababy vista 2015 during the week, with romper seat & adapters (this our second, little one is currently 18months) we brought it for a test run with our daughter & she seems impressed with it, though does not like the canopy pulled over her head! We have a changing bag, but am tempted to get a new slightly bigger one which will accommodate both little ones & hang a little lower on the buggy when it's a double. Feeling increasingly tired, have been told I have anaemia, but it definately seems more difficult second time around! How is everyone els feeling? Thankfully my BP is behaving itself so far (had PE last pregnancy), so all in all really cannot complain. Been thinking I really need to get all neutral clothes out & start washing & getting stuff ready, now that we're down to 9 weeks to edd. Only 6 weeks left in work!!!

Starting to feel very heavy and my pelvis is aching permenantly, feels like I can't cross my legs. Anyone else struggling with thirst? After 2 capri suns and a pint of juice I still feel like I haven't drunk anything. Mouth, throat and lips are dry. Driving me potty, been like this for two weeks now :(

Hi Ladies - currently working day 7 of 10 days straight. Manager has been great though and has said from now on I can only work 5 days in a row.

Was due to start mat leave on October 2nd but with the Diabetes diagnosis, I will probably be induced at 38 weeks! Meaning not too long left in work.

Gail... really poor manners from so called friends. I had similar issues with my best friend and even though I had a chat with her about it, she still seems distant :(

x

Have you mentioned it to your midwife? xx

We have also decided to use the free boots bag as a spare and got another one in mothercare today. It was down from £45 to £21! (We got a red one) x

Nope I didn't think much of it when I last saw her. I shall mention it next meeting.

Gail & Cas yeah you buy the nappies & get the changing bag free :).

I know Cas, I was wanting an Icandy 1 to go with my pram but they're pretty expensive & they all look like handbags  xx

I'm still debating on pram, quite like the strawberry 2 icandy but don't know if its too bulky but raspberry looked flimsy to me- the icandy changing bags I saw were around 150 quid, not sure if its the same one that your thinking of but they did look like handbags!

Bunnykins- I've seen a few offers on the pink lining bags- think Mothercare x

We went for the Icandy Apple 2 Pear, should be here in a few weeks :)

The Apple doesn't seem to have a specific changing bag so I had been looking at other Icandy ones.

Think I'll just try & get a nice big black 1 to go with pram.

I feel like im running out of space for the baby, being only 4ft 10.5" I don't think the wee soul has much room hehe xx

Very nice! My last one was from Mothercare and it lasted very well!

I bought this one...love it! Photos don't do it justice!

Enjoy your new pram...I really like the look of those!

We are keeping Olivers pram....would love a new one though x

i have but i am being admitted at 34 weeks

Are you? Sorry if I've missed something - don't come on here as much as id like. Is that because of previous pre eclampsia?

I'm just thinking about starting mine but have a few things that I still need to get!

Anyone packed their hospital bag yet?? x

I haven't packed it as such but have all the items put away in one place ready to go. I don't think I will pack it until week 35... still need to wash all the baby clothes and my PJs :)

If nothing else you will get to meet baby sooner xx

I have not packed my bag. I was hoping to get a child free day to go shopping and buy all my bits. Then get babies bag ready too.

I'd really like a nice changing bag. I don't like the pink lining ones.

i have major placenta preavia. Just a precaution.

Great that they are keeping an eye on you.

I'm looking for a long(ish) nightie with buttons down the front for breast feeding and also need to buy a few nursing bras - but I have 3 left from when I had Oliver. x

Ooh I like that one!!

Morning peeps

is anyone else on iron tablets? :( I'm struggling with mine I've already gone back to the docs for a lower dose and alternative one but I'm still feeling bloated and constipated. Fed up with it now. So I think I'm going to just take a regular iron tablet from the vitamin shop (along-side the additional iron in pregnacare I'm already taking) and eat iron rich foods. I'll let my doctor know this week.
