**** November 2012 Mummies **** (everyone welcome)

Also just to add James has just had the biggest poo ever. Poor love hadn't been since Monday afternoon. He seemed fine though, didn't appear constipated??

This filled a nappy, then another nappy then went all over the place! I don't mind though, he can poo all over me as long as he goes

He is now fast asleep bless him!

Yep when James went it was like watching a mr whippy machine - sorry if anyone is eating breakkie!!!

On occasion he may do a teeny poo but it's always a prelude to a massive one

What a nice conversation hey???

We're just getting ready for the christening. I am wearing leggings, high boots and a kind of blue gypsy dress. I look pretty casual but it's either that of freeze??

How was the christening Nat? Hope it went well :) woop to poop from James!!

We've just had a nice quiet day, just about to head out for a walk with the pooch and the inlaws. Making a roast and chocolate moose for din dins :)

We had a lovely day in the end!!

James loved church (it's a happy clappy C&E church) and he was so well behaved!

We then went for lunch at a local pub, then onto my friends for cake and champers.

James and I left at 10.30am and got in just after 8pm! It's the longest we've ever been out and he didn't cry once...

So proud of him!

Hi everyone  I've read through the thread and there is way too much to comment on, but your LOs all seem to be coming on really well :)

I've been away for the last 10 days, first at our running club training week and then at the ILs for the weekend. We had a lovely time, although I did get very tired (not been sleeping well) and have a meltdown because the OH didn't offer to do a night feed. He said I should have asked - and then did 2 nights by himself! I didn't sleep through, still woke when J woke, but it was nice not to have to get up and I wasn't awake for long. When I do the feed it takes me at least half and hour and sometimes over an hour to get back to sleep. I couldn't believe how much brighter I felt after 2 nights sleep.

I didn't manage to lose any weight (I never lose from exercise) but I didn't put any on which is pretty amazing considering the pub meals, takeaways and cake!

J is just awesome at the moment. He smiles and laughs loads and naps well, so I'm finding him very easy. Long may it continue!

I took a pregnancy test this morning because I am 5 days late  it was negative, so obviously just my periods haven't settled down yet. Not sure how I would have felt if it had been positive.

Today's drama is changing formula. We've been on the comfort milk (for reflux, because it's slightly thicker) since 2w and there are major supply issues and it's all sold out everywhere. We have enough for about 4 -5 days and the rumour is it will be much longer than that. I wanted to wean up to a normal lactose formula soon anyway (I think we were given bad advice to go on this in the first place) so we're going to try Hipp organic. I don't think it's as thick as comfort though, so we might need to experiment a little. To top it off gaviscon infant is not available at the moment either, but I have abut 2 weeks worth of that luckily!

Hello! Just caught up on everything, hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Hope the formula changing is a sucess L_A - why are there supply issues with the comfort stuff do you know?

Our trip away was a success! Aela passed her hearing test and they couldn't see any problems with her eye either so that's a big weight off my chest! She was soooo good while we were away as well, slept loads, smiled lots, was just brilliant! She was a bit grizzly on the train on the way back but it didn't really bother anyone, they all came up to us and told us how lovely she was and "what a beautiful wee person" :)

Aela's napping at the moment but when she wakes up I'm hoping to take her on a nice long walk! We've already been for a wee one this morning but the weather is just so gorgeous today that it'd be a shame not to get outside and make the most of the sunshine! We went for a lovely walk right around a loch yesterday ending up at a wee swing which my stepdaughter loved! Was a perfect afternoon!xx

Hi everyone,

How are you all? The babies all look so gorgeous. They're getting so big now.

Been so busy its nice to have a chance to pop on here. Everyone in my house has been over the last couple of weeks but we're all better now. T seems to be teething as his bottom front teeth can just be seen under the gum. Plus he's munchin everything in sight including my nipple ouch!!
Hes feeding has gone a bit haywire as his mouth hurts, he hungry so he latches on, realises it hurts and screams then screams because he's hungry, poor boy. Nelsons teething powder has become the answer. Amid all this though he's slept through the last two nights, I'm shocked but so so happy.

In between the grumps there are still some lovely smiles. It's just hard to keep him happy for long.

We've also got a door bouncer recently and he loves it. He likes staring at the dog whist he's in it. Very very funny to watch. Xx

I need to grab some teething powder, thanks for the reminder! I've only seen it on sale in Superdrug so I am going to stock up!

Aela is so pretty! I know I am biased but our November babies are just so gorgeous

James just rolled, front to back!! I was so surprised as he hates tummy time so we don't really do it.

He only did it once and OH missed it LOL!

xxxxxxx

I haven't been on again for ages.

I have had no Internet...noooooooooooooooo!

Nat m is rolling but gets scared just as its time to roll onto front, he also hates belly time and because of that he has one smooth bald patch on his head! Haha.

I now hope to catch up.

Hey all! Not been on since last week as was at the in laws with Lyla by myself :wall: so Daddy could get some uni work done. Remind me not to do that again!

Hope everyones well!!

Lyla loves her Peppa Pig

Second lot of jabs on Wednesday! Dreading it! Hope she's better than at her first lot.

Awww look at lovely little Lyla!

I found 2nd Jabs much better. James still screamed but he was fine within about a minute...

Good luck

xxxxxxx

Hi sazz welcome back!

M will only roll from her back to her side, hopefully soon she'll go all the way to her belly :)

My oh is taking M for her second jabs he'll cope better than I can :) x

Missyeovil - apparently the maize ingredient they put in it is unavailable, so they've stopped production temporarily. This is why both aptamil and c&g comfort are both out, they contain the same ingredient.

Infant gaviscon was apparently due to a quality control issue on the production line, but hopefully that should be available again next week.

Loving your pics, Chloe - lyla is gorgeous!

All these clever babies rolling! j is nowhere near...

Where has my sleeping through the night little angel gone?? She been fed 3-4 hours during the night!! What a shock to the system!
I think this is her in the leap, fingers crossed it ends soon :) xx

I found second jabs so much better. A little crying on the initial jabs but after that all happy and smiley. He's just slept through a third night after having a whooping 10oz. I'm sure he's got hollow legs. He has woken up all smiles bless him. He loves tummy time but not sure about rolling. He gets so far and stops. He'll do it when he's ready. X

I hope M went back down and you are both still in the land of :nap:

James is an early riser. 5.30am this morning :wall2:

I can at a push get him to sleep until 7am although we've not been up that late for about a week? So whilst on paper he sleeps through the night I am actually dead on my feet with tiredness! He sleeps soundly until about 3am and then he fidgets, moans, grunts and flails. I am up every 20 minutes popping his dummy in, turning Ewan on, trying to cover him.

I did consider dream feeding but the moment you stick a bottle in his face, James is bog eyed and wide awake. Also he is having 33-35 oz's a day so I don't think he's hungry - I don't have to feed him the moment we get up in the morning, so he's not restless in the night because he is hungry?

I may try swaddling tonight, just loosely? Although he is in a Gro-bag.

We're off out today, need to grab a bit of food shopping! Then I need to have a good tidy up when we get home.

Come on Spring - I am so sick of it being so cold (It has also been very grey in London!)

Oh no mrs woody. Hugs I hope she sleeps through again soon. Could be a growth spurt? X

I give James a big bottle before bed, 8oz's! He seems quite restless come 3am though so I may try him on 9oz's tonight.
