**** November 2012 Mummies **** (everyone welcome)

Happy 9 months James!!!

This has to be the fastest 18months I've ever had!! x

Happy 9 months to James and well done Aela on her walking! :yay:

All fine here, we went into London and stayed with a friend earlier in the week. Nice but I was in bed late and knackered yesterday.

Now he can roll easily, J has decided he's a tummy sleeper. I'm not too bothered as I'm sure he can roll back and he's no longer waking in the night. He was pretty much sleeping through anyway with one or two dummy runs, but now he sleeps so soundly on his tummy he rarely wakes at all!

Hi ladies

Hope your all well?
Life is very busy in our house, arthur crawls everywhere now, has learnt how to get up on the stairs too, bed times arnt smooth no more , as quick as ive laid him down hes stood up in his cot, which makes me chuckle.
I cant believe hes going to be 1 in 3 months, time has flown!

Well last week we was at the childrens hospital as arthur has allergies to some foods, so hes under tests and we have to go back in 11wks.

He looks so much like you Wilson, it's uncanny (I've only seen the piccies you've put on here mind and not seen his Daddy!)

Glad he is doing well.

I've got a countdown ticker to James' 1st Birthday !! It's so depressing though I think I'm going to remove it...

Having real teething issues for the past week. Thankfully not at night.

James has jut had his first ever dose of Calpol, which is pretty good going.

I've been asked to do some KIT days in the next few weeks and the money would be handy but James is the most unsettled and grouchy I've ever seen him since the newborn days so I am not happy to leave him.

xxxxxxx

Hi nat

Glad you and james are ok, if his teeth bothering him? Be sure to keep an eye on his bum, arthurs bum became sore when he started teething. Also ibrofen works better than calpol :)

Have i never posted a pic up of bruce?? Let me look

You may find leaving him may settlehim down, arthur plays on me. Assoon as his daddy puts him down hes as good as gold.

Im on a hen doo next week, fri - sun, :( first time im ever going to be away from arthur xx

Xx

Wow - he looks like you both!!!

I still think a little more like you though

He is so big now and so grown up.

I'm off out Thursday night for a friend's Birthday [James will be with Daddy] and I am debating whether to work tomorrow and Friday. Will speak to MIL and see as she is off this week so could maybe have James.

Bum is fine, sleep is OK, he just gets a bit cranky in the daytime so I suppose I should be thankful.

xxxx

bless him, have u tried teething powders too, they are quiet good.

Are you looking forward to some days back at work? i enjoy it, but all i seem to do is talk about arthur lol.

How is james with trying to crawl and pull up, is he there yet? i cant believe how long he is, how long is he? is you or his daddy tall xx

I've done a few days in May and it was lovely, not too keen to go back this week as he has been so unsettled... We'll see! The ball is in my court so to speak.

Not sure how long James is, he won't stay still enough for us to measure. We've tried a few times. He fits into 9-12m vests but is still fine in his 6-9m tops, t-shirts and Jeans??? I'm just over 5ft, OH is just under 6ft!

No crawling or pulling up, he stands really well with support though.

He makes all the moves to crawl but hasn't got the hang of going forward. He can do the length of the house backwards though and moves around very quickly... I can only imagine how quick he'll be when he is crawling lol.

I am just making the most of James before crawling and teethy pegs

A is doing so well? I saw in your other thread how amazing he is getting on. Such a clever boy.

xxxxxxx

Hi Wilson!
Sounds like Arthur is keeping you busy! He is your double I think!
How are you finding being back in work?

Nat, I'm like you enjoying That we have no crawling. Once she's for the hang of it she'll be off like a rocket. I would like her to crawl before I go back to work though so I don't miss it.
Teething is no fun for babies or parents! M just whines at you all day and it can be so tiring.

Madison is doing really well. Not so much on the move but loves to talk, she has mastered "kitty", we are staying with ohs parents who have a cat and loves the cat! We leave today, I'm thinking of getting a cat now but oh is well against! Ha
Here is a recent photo

I'm on the countdown to work I have about 6 weeks until I go back and I am starting to think about it a lot. I'm going to enjoy the last few weeks with M and get out with her as much as I can.
x

Just having a nosy at the gorgeous pics :) I'm technically not a November mummy as jack was born on the 30th October but I'm a sucker for pics! Nat, have you tried measuring James on a baby height chart? We got given one at the sure start centre and its so easy to prop jack up against it since he loves to stand too xxx

Hi November Mummies,

I am sure you are all as busy as me (plus a few of you are preggers again - respect to you!!)

Just thought I'd share a few piccies of James.

He still won't sit but he is on the move (commando style) so the baby gate is up!

James is doing wonderfully with BLW - at last - he takes proper bites now despite only having the teeniest of his two bottom teeth poking through.

He refuses to sit in his pram and chair without a hissy fit as all he wants to do is crawl and explore and chase the cat!

I am amazed at how they can change almost overnight. James has become a lot more willful in the past few weeks? I love that he is a lot more independent now [he has never been clingy of cuddly but now he hates being held at all], I am sad that he doesn't need his Mummy as much.

He is amazing though and we've been loving the weather. We went to the farm on Sunday and had the place almost to ourselves. James loved all the animals... He didn't do as well at the zoo as he fell asleep when we went a few weeks ago lol. I am so pleased we've had such lovely weather as it keeps me feeling perky and cheery. I was born in the wrong country I think!

Hope everyone is well???

Can't believe we're all 10 months / coming up to 10 months????

Aww what a little cutie. I think last time I was on here, I had a pregnancy scare - thank goodness, that's all it was. No bun in my oven!

My fella, is crawling and climbing everywhere. He has six knashers, but has regressed in feeding (I guess, due to all this independence he has now!), he now expects me to feed him finger foods! Otherwise he'll throw the food on the floor - the little rascal!

James has got a lot of hair now Nat! He looks very grown up :)

I totally understand what you mean about not needing their mummy as much! It is lovely to see the wee person A has become but at the same time I miss our cuddles! She really doesn't like sitting still at all!

Srob - Glad to hear from you and that S is doing well :)

We are good up here - I am totally knackered with A crawling everywhere and being pregnant! I ended up anaemic so have decided to give A a bottle at bedtime to give my body a wee break, although I still breastfeed all through the day (and night still!). She has been teething really badly the last couple of weeks but finally the top two teeth are just pushing through and she seems a bit better, although she also has a snuffly nose and the only way we can get her to sleep properly is sitting up in her pram. Otherwise she is up every 30 mins. Hopefully it will get better in a couple of days although I had the same thing and I'm still a bit bunged up in the nose a week later!

A's standing is really good too now. She will stand unaided for 10 seconds or so flapping her arms around so her balance is great! She just gets distracted by something and forgets what she's doing and falls on her bum eventually! She is also cruising holding onto furniture and in general is a wee menace keeping here mummy and daddy on their toes! I've lost count of how many bruises she's had throwing herself at glass cabinets, radiators, the skirting board!

Hope everyone is well, and I hope you understand why I'm not on here as much any more haha! xxx

Hi ladies,

Nat, James has changed so much, his hair is getting nice and long too! I just love that photo of him in your bed, he's like haha mummy I'm in your bed, where you sleeping?

Great to hear your LO is doing so well srob :) not seen you around in a while.

Missy..I can't imagine how tired you must be with A and being preggo. How far on are you? Is it out in the open yet to family?

We are doing very well here, Lady M is a little superstar. She is amazing me everyday as her little personality shines through. She is very independent and is happy to play on here own and not be held by mummy :( she has also taken a dislike to her pram ow that she can crawl.
I have 5 weeks left before I return to work! Eeek

xx

Evening ladies

Currently laid in bed with the d&v bug and i feel awful :(

Nat james looks lovely snd happy :) hesshooting up.

Missy howfar are u? I bet u are whacked, great stuff on still bf make sure you drink alot of water. I thought you couldnt get pregnant while bf??

Mrsw glad maddison is doing well for you, are u still bf? Are u going back fulltime?

I am loving working on the maternity hospital :) i saw2 deliveries last wk, one was ventouse the other forseps, now that was traumatic, poor lass was pool birthing, struggling, tried suction, no luck, so they cut her then gave her forceps, may i add only on gas n air :O she wasnt joyfull when bubs came out! Im applying for a degree soon in birthing, allows me to do it pt with Arthur, i want another before i go for midwifery :)

Well Arthur, where do i start, hes still bf, nights have got better, only waking at 5am for a feed, hes crawling everywhere, walks unaided with his push walker, he now says daddy, hi, baba, and waves bye bye, its true they totally amaze you.
He has 8 teeth and i can see another top 2 coming, i went away and left him with daddy for the 1st time, fri am to sunday lunch, i had expressed lots off before i went, i really missed him and when i came home, he was so happy, flapping his hands, stomping his feet, squeeling it made me soo happy i just sobbed holding him.

I dont tend to put arthur in a push chair i sling him alot, back carriers are fab :) hes quiet contented.

LO had his 9 month check yesterday - he is developing really well, and the HV wasn't worried about him at all - yay! Unfortunately she was worried about his momma, I might have PND :-((( It sounded much worse and much more real when she said it. I feel I've let my little boy down :-(

Hi srob..so sorry to hear you that. You haven't let lo at all. At least it has been noticed at you can now get back on track? You're an amazing mummy, the progress your lo is making just shows it! xx

Wilson..yes still bfing but will be stopping soon as I am returning to work and don't have the option to keep doing I will be proud of myself having got so far. Ill be introducing M to more cows milk instead as advised by the HV :)
