I hope this isn't a new shift in his sleeping pattern?

I didn't get him up and he dozed / occupied himself for most of the time. Weird.

He's wide awake now as well, I am waiting for him to nod off and I'll quickly do bathroom and kitchen.

Bathroom and Kitchen....don't know how you have the energy!

Chloe just woke up, I said Hello what usually makes her smile and wiggle her arms and legs in excitement but she just looked at me then went back to sleep so iv put dummy in her mouth - she is asleep but sucking away bless her. I'm sitting in bed waiting for her to wake up as want to keep an eye on her after yesterday. X

My bathroom and kitchen are the size of a postage stamp so it takes about half an hour to do them both properly!

Little snotty baby has finally nodded off... He isn't showing any signs of a cold he just has a proper blocked nose??

Morning all, oh my arthur has been up every 2hrs ive had no sleep with him, i think he wakes up out of habit now!

Nat do u and yr oh have a cooked meal at night? 3hrs awake, when are u putting him in his nursery? Will this help? I want arthur in now. Im fed up of tippy toes, plus he may not smell me in there.

Every 2 hours - Jesus!!!

Yep we have a cooked meal, normally about 8pm and James goes down at 8.30 so I feed him earlier. I give him his dinner about 7ish, now I just need to change the routine so we can all eat at this time.

We don't have a nursery, we're in a one bed until early 2014 (we can only afford to move once I go back to work!!). I am looking so if anything comes up we may be able to move a bit earlier.

He was wide awake in his cot and every time I went over to soothe him, pop his dummy in etc he was chattering away and smiling away. I didn't encourage him and am hoping it was just a one off.

He has a blocked nose so he wasn't wanting his dummy but he was wanting it to nod off iykwim?

Was wondering have you all started your periods yet?

Iv had 2 since, first was light and second was like they used to be but it was ages ago now.....should I worry, how long approx until you get back to normal? X

Pb i havent had one yet but im breast feeding.

Nat could you from tonights meal save some for james tomorrow? Then start building your store of meals for him.
Wedont eat till late but last night i cooked for 6pm and we all had dinner at the table, also i find frozen very handy to just get a couple od pieces out for arthur.

Yep every 2hrs hes done mainly since born im knackerd today normally sleep in till 9 am but i let his daddy sleep in as he had a tough day of it yesterday xx

Good thinking!

I'll save some of tonight's dinner. I'll portion him some chicken before I spice ours up and save him a few new potatoes. I'll do his salad fresh tomorrow. Doh I am so thick. Cooking him stuff from scratch when he has to have it cold anyway, I may as well just give him leftovers

He is a grumpy bum today, def got a cold as he is blowing snot bubbles...

He's never had a proper cold, he's looked to be getting one a few times but it's never developed so he's never actually been poorly bless him.

Breakkie this morning wasn't good, he seems to hate being fed. Past few days he hates being in his bumbo or high chair, hates everything I've given him and gets really fretful??

Wilson -Can't imagine having to get up every 2 hours, I feel for you hun, we did have to feed Chloe every 2 hours when she was a new born but we had to wake her up and took it in turns and that was bad enough after that she used to just wake up once a night around 3 ish then again around 6-7 ish then sleep most of the day, obv now she is awake a lot more during the day!

Must be hard for u xxxx

Nat, I bought a set of these.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vital-Baby-...TF8&qid=1369389707&sr=8-5&keywords=vital+baby which means that if I have leftover sauce for example, I can freeze a wee cube and add some pasta at a later date for a quick meal for baby.

A stayed asleep till 11ish in her pushchair and then got woken up by OH making a racket so I gave her a quick feed to settle her and she stayed down till half 4ish I think, then I took her in with me. Not as good as the last couple of nights because she did wake up but it was OH's fault so I'll forgive her! She also went down a whole hour earlier than usual so even though it's in her pushchair, I feel like we're heading in the right direction. I think she was waking a lot because of habit. I'm just sorting curtains out for her nursery and then that's it - we intend on cracking everything at once! (sleeping in her cot in her own room!). She's quite used to being by herself because she sleeps downstairs in her pushchair!

Anyway, had better go, she is awake, and moaning! xxx

I went on the pill at my 6 week check up. But kept forgetting to take it, so OH and I talked and I came off the pill 3 months ago. I've not had a period yet.

I wasn't breastfeeding but expressing until J was 5 months, so maybe that's why I've not had one.

PB - I've had 3 I think. The first cycle was 28 days which was what I was before, period seemed fairly normal too. Then the next one was 41 days and VERY heavy. I'm not CD 22 so not sure when to expect AF...if at all as OH and I have been a bit naughty this month

I'm BFing though but I think it probably takes a wee bit of time for your body to get back to normal after childbirth whether you're BFing of not!xx

I expressed almost 100% for 8 weeks, then went to combi feeding and had a period immediately.

I had two more (30 day cycle, my usual) and went back on pill with second period so now I'm just waiting for my 4th.

Is there any way you could be preggers PB??

I have another 5 months worth of the pill but I have decided to stop taking it and OPK to avoid fertile times (we barely have sex anyway). I can't handle hormonal contraception.

Miss Y, Not sure how long he'll be in it as he is so tall but yep it's a toddler to newborn chair

Carnat - I'm still half in shock and half laughing....could I be pregnant NO! Lol xx

Ah great! Thanks for that I use her bouncer all the time as somewhere to plonk her while I hoover or nip to the loo and she's pretty much grown out of it Think I might need to invest in that or something similar! Cheers xx

Do you know roughly how long it's been since your last period? If there's no chance you could be pregnant I definitely wouldn't be worrying until you've missed a couple of periods.xx

Do you know roughly how long it's been since your last period? If there's no chance you could be pregnant I definitely wouldn't be worrying until you've missed a couple of periods.xx

No we have been very careful, 30th March was my last period didn't make a note of the one before that. Iv had period pains twice since 3th but nothing. Got EWCM a while back (should of noted when) so think it should be on its way, I'm not worried yet but will if nothing in few months. X
