Aww yeah, congratulations on your new family member Emma.

Well Ladies, after having sex this morning (yes I even resorted to this), I have had pains and tightenings all day... Was quite excited! they were period like, also v low down ones like night before but more often, and backache. I am now really p***ed off that they have not amounted to anything, so am going to bed furious! Anyone else had anything exciting? X

Isn't it frustrating Pinky! I have woken up tp period like pains again, now it's eased off. I was never worried about going overdue... I am usually so efficient at everything I thought she'd be on time lol. I really don't want to be prodded and poked at with sweeps and inductions. Really want her to come of her own accord. In my fantasy birth, it all happens too quick to go to hospital, she's born, it's all fine, just stings a bit and I am showered and feeding her by the time the midwife arrives...

Hiya, no they are really irregular. It was strange yesterday as all day I felt like she was about to drop out... I could hardly walk around. Went to babies r us and OH had to drive over a load of speed bumps which was really bad! Lol thought I may pop on one of them! Will see what today brings. Can you time any of yours?

i woke up this morning in agony on my right side and felt like ive pulled a muscle its alot better now im up and walking about

Nope I can't time mine either, I've had 3 that felt like they started, peaked and eased off but not one after the other. Speed bumps are horrible, Nearly every road in my area has them, being on the bus going over them is horrible!

Fingers crossed something happens today for you hun, I don't think it will for me. I'm going to try and get more sleep since I've been awake since half 4

no i had a pretty relaxed day yesterday i think im just getting to the aching stage now lol my sil thinks my bump has dropped since my last bump pic so i am going to take a pic today to compare lol

Not sure, going in 3.30pm tomorrow to be started off, was originally hoping that'd mean a Tuesday birth but less confident now after seeing a few induction stories that have lasted days. My dad says knowing my luck she'll dilly dally until Friday 13th

I wouldn't mind a Friday 13th birth if it wouldn't mean days of being in hospital

I'm feeling ok about the birth (truthfully, I honestly think I'm in denial) - sure I'll forget the pain after it, am going to have an epidural so shouldn't hurt too much and I should be able to get some rest, and all through I've been quite interested to find out what it'll actually feel like. The only bit I'm not looking forward to is possibly being stuck in for ages, but then when I'm actually there I might not want to leave! I can't wait to see what she looks like and meet her though, that's the bit I'm really looking forward to

The only bit that really sucks is being full of cold! I'm a right snot box and my throat feels awful. Will the baby be born immune to my cold do you think?
