May mummies and rainbows to be :) the wait is nearly over!

I'm also still in my normal tops. I clearly wear things that are too big though as I am massive now! However, I am broad shouldered and big busted so to get those in I have to buy a much bigger size than I actually need on the waist, so now my bump just fills up that space. I've only put on a bump, I'm not bigger anywhere else (bar my feet, I'm currently wearing trainers a size bigger than usual).

I was a bit crampy this morning and my middle felt weird. He has moved down back onto my bladder, so having to wee a lot again. Scan tomorrow so will see what he has been up to this week.

I got my bump stuck under the tractor steering wheel at work yesterday lol! I couldn't get out. Problem with having short legs and having to sit so close!

They were pretty constant psins just varying in intensity. They are starting to fade now though. Im not ready yet! Lol
Still dont have baby clothes ready lol.

I'm here until 5 today and 6.15-6.30 until I'm home (depending on timing of trains). No leaving early has I have detention duty and several students decided to come in well late, so they all have a 1 hour detention. At least tomorrow is my last full day as I'll leave at lunch on Thurs for my scan appt and will get in after break on Fri as I have my mw appt that morning.

Stir-fry tonight. Just have to throw everything into wok for 10 mins!

Snowbee, that sounds both awful and a bit amusing. I think the only thing I could've done getting stuck like that would've been to break into a fit of laughter.

I look at my old tops and one boobs wouldn't even fit into them now lol. I had a very small waist and I have a small frame but I have grown everywhere. Some of it is water retention though as I am puffy rather than fat.
Kabuk, that's a long day for you, hope it goes quickly. Snowbee, glad you weren't stuck too long lol and ery, maybe do some quick shopping just incase :) xx

my legs have been the worst today went to pick up my eldest and my legs just gave way underneath me :( they are so painful i cant walk today. just cant enjoy this pregnancy anymore :( really hoping i get some good news tomorrow

I'm trying not to symptom spot too much as if I go into labour now im buggered. I don't have a bag packed since I don't intend on going anywhere.. I have a box with home birth essentials like shower curtains haha and a few nappies and stuff. Plus if I went into labour in the night it would be such a drama trying to get me off island so fingers crossed nothing starts for me yet. I think the midwives are heading over on Monday so after that project eviction can begin!

Sounds like we are all knackered today. I fell asleep on the sofa this morning...luckiky I thought I might so had already set an alarm to pick my daughter up from pre school!! Xx

Awww hun you poor thing :-( Hope you get the news you want tomorrow.

I've just got out the steriliser to clean it up and got it soaking in some water and white vinegar as it had lime scale all on the bottom. Hopefully that'll do the trick! I'm planning on bf bit got the bottles and steriliser just in case. I'll pick up a little carton of ready made formula just in case too as don't want to have to make any emergency dashes to the supermarket with a screaming baby in tow!

My back is so sore today! Me no likey! Grass needs cutting but that can wait for a bit. Just going to sit and relax for a bit before I get the tea on.

my mam made me weigh myself ive put on 5kgs since my booking in appointment!

i love this symptom spotting, im so excited to see who is next!!

i only get a sore back when he is sat on/against my spine the little monkey. i do however get the foot under the rib all day everyday whilst im sat up at work! ive put my chair into the recline position haha and basically lie back all day!

im working right up until im nearly 39 weeks im not sure if im mad lol so due to finish on the 24th all being well and they dont decide to induce me!

xx

It's hurting pretty much as soon as I've been stood up for a few minutes. I'll get in the shower after tea and get the hot water on it which usually helps to ease it off.

I'm heartburning pretty good right now too! Can't bend over without feeling it all running back up my throat, it's horrible :-(

I'm the same Leigh. I'll be 39+2 on my last day.

I can't remember the last time I walked into a McDonalds, but I caved today for a caramel Sunday. Needed that treat for my journey home. Still on the train.

Ery, we sorted baby clothes via eBay. Entire 0-3 month wardrobe for about £20. I've become a bit of an eBay addict.

Technically my mat leave starts on 39+4 but I figured by taking 1 day holiday my last day in work will be 39 +0 which is awesome

Just hope I make it that long lol. 8.5hr days with just one 30 min break and on my feet all day. It's starting to get hard. But each day in work before birth i's one extra day with baby after birth x

Lol you probably brought some of my 0-3 month baby boy clothes I sold a ton lol. I panic brought lots of moses basket sheets and a few blankets earlier. I have some baby clothes but not washed one's

I'm experiencing pretty bad acid reflux/indigestion (Gaviscon and Rennies are my best friends) and my knees are pretty sore when I'm getting up from sitting down but apart from that I'm good. I feel like they're just small inconveniences in the grand scheme of things and just feeling and seeing her wriggle (which has been pretty much all day today) makes it all worth it. Baby's clothes are all washed and her bag is packed and I've made a start on my bag today. We're also painting the hallway, stairs and landing and all doors and frames so I got a door frame painted today. I love mat leave!

Arghh. Is it just me? I moved up to my parents, which means my boyfriend is 2 hours away, if anything happens. My Mam is my other birthing partner, so it isn't a big problem. So, my Mam tells me she's going to visit her friend for a week or two (?!) who is 3 hours away! Plus, my Mam doesn't drive, so she'll be relying on public transport to get back. She's not going anywhere quickly either - just casually taking her time and telling me not to be silly as I've still got 5 weeks to go... So both of my birthing partners are going to be hours away, if something happens in the next few weeks. I still have my dad to take me to hospital, but he's having an operation on his foot in the beginning of May.

I feel like no one cares! Am I right to worry about my Mam going away at this stage?

Yay. We're nearly all done to. I think on Thurs and fri I'll be able to get most of the rest done. Need to stick my graco on ebay too.

A lot of first babies tend to be late or a tiny bit early so I think you'll be OK but I would be peeved lol. It's not good to be so stressful at the end of your pregnancy! I often wonder if how mum's feeling affects babies temperament when they arrive!

id be annoyed dovekie especially as your partner isnt nearby aswell your mum should understand. you might not go into labour early but you never know

Dove, I'm sorry things have been stressful. I'd be rather pissed as well, but as Ery says, they rarely arrive early when it's your first. Although I'm sure hoping mine will.

We got our washer delivered on Friday when the kitchen was being finished, so I washed all of our 0-3 months clothing and other baby items. Have 2 more small bundles arriving this week and a couple of items we got on clearance this weekend that need washing yet.

I'm so enjoying my new kitchen. I've attached new and old pics.

Kitchen looks awesome kabuk!!

Dovekie, yeah I would be pretty annoyed by that too. I guess she has her own life too but 3 hours is a long way to go when your daughter is about to have a baby and you are a named birthing partner. First labours are usually quite long and also late so maybe that's why she's thinking it's not an issue. Doesn't mean yours will be though. Xx
