May mummies and rainbows to be :) the wait is nearly over!

I'm also a bit breathless at times, especially at work when I'm walking uphill through mud!

We've just put all our Christmas boxes that I've repacked up into the loft and got them all labelled and sorted. So now I've got a nice empty wardrobe that I can fill with stuff to clear the bedrooms we need to empty for the heating to be mended... Also got a big pile of sorting, more things need to go up to the loft so we don't have to move them room to room while all chaos is happening. I'm sort of looking forward to getting it all done and then being able to sort out a room for little one, I feel a bit like I'm behind getting ready at the moment. I like to be a bit more organised usually and I am a little stressed that he could arrive before I'm ready! I'm just really hoping it can all be sorted through the floors, if they start having to chase pipes into the walls and then I have to redecorate every room I'm going to be really pushed for both budget and time eek..

I've also just given in and ordered myself some new pants, gone for two sizes bigger than normal so hope they will be ok and not fall off my backside!

Lisey i feel the same our house is still upside dowm and its driving me mad! Getting me down aswell

my move date is in 4-6 weeks eurgh!!! i want to be settled in my new home and nesting ready for my little bundle coming xx

Another one here not settled yet. I could be getting on with it if I wasn't so torn about what's going on.

28 weeks today. The app is telling me I'm now tri 3. I thought it was last week! I think baby grew overnight. My belly is really looking big now and is expanding sideways.

Hi, sorry not really kept up to date lately hope alls well with everyone.
Just a quick question, I am supposed to have bloods tomorrow for gestational diabetes, but not had any info or confirmation about it! I know I am supposed to go in starved but how many hours without food? App 9am in the morning, and then I have the consultant scan at 12 again no confirmation.....hope to god they haven't cocked up and turn me away :(
I got a tip off a work colleague, she recommended boots maternity pads and use 2 at the same time....something to look forward too......not lol

For my diabetes test I had to eat nothing from midnight before and in the morning could have only a glass of water or a black tea/coffee no milk or sugar.

I never had to double up on pads but did have to change it often, obviously!

I am sure the hormones are not helping us all and we are getting to the nesting stage. We have alot of progress today and decided on all new bedroom furniture which I am really happy about as OH wanted to get a new fitted wardrobe but keep old drawers...I like everything to match.

I was the same as Emily with the diabetes test xx

I'm lucky in that everything is either newly decorated or nice and livable with, as we only moved in less than a year ago. Once we've sold/ got rid of the single bed in the spare room then I can get the nursery finished. My anxiety would be through the roof otherwise!!

Ah I know someone asked the other day but can't find it! What are people using for constipation? I feel like my whole digestive system is just not working atm. Have stomach ache, heartburn, reflux. So fed up...still over 2 months to go as well :'( xx

I am just drinking loads and loads of water and trying to have enough fibre. I don't like any of the medicines as give me cramps and make me paranoid. Constipation is horrible though xx

I had it really bad the other day such bad stomach ache and felt sick luckily it passed. Cant believe weve only got 10 weeks left some of us even less!

I have 9 weeks tomorrow! Single figure weeks eek!! Xx

missy - I've use fybogel in the past, which is a fibre supplement and lactulose, which you body doesn't absorb- it pulls fluid to the intestines.

I had my transfer of care booking in finally- it only took weeks to get and then the appt was about 1hr 20m. The mw was lovely but soooooooo slow. I went to book an appt with a consultant for 3 weeks time and was told there weren't any at this time and that I would receive a letter in the post regarding that appt. So, another waiting game. Even the mw suggested I go to the appt I already have booked at St. George's, but not sure how that works I've booked in with a different NHS trust now. It's a bit ridiculous.

We're finally buying baby things. We have our pram and I'll be picking up the cocoonababy tomorrow. Heard lots of great things about it. Got it on eBay for £35, so really saved some money there & no postage as I'll be collecting. I've also bought a bundle of 0-3 month clothes from eBay to get us started. We can then add to that as needed. I'm hoping to get a small bundle of newborn clothes and a few other items as well from eBay. I'm also keeping an eye out for good deals on the Chicco Next2me crib. Hopefully we'll have most of the major items we need within the next 2-3 weeks. Still looking for a good deal on a changing table with storage or a good dresser that can be used as a changing table.

I'm getting breathless too, but mainly when taking stairs. Taking London transport is only going to get worse. At least now that I clearly look pregnant, people are offering their seats without me asking. But all the steps and dodging people is a pain.

This was my kids this morning for world book day lol

Cool I didn't realise smells could transfer too.

They look great Nikki! I know Where's Wally but not the other one.

I've been clearing rooms for our heating to be mended and I've found a box full of stuff my mum sent of all old things from her house. There are all my baby weights from my check ups, so that will be really interesting to see how little one compares to me! Also a big file of school reports, which made for entertaining reading haha.
