May mummies and rainbows to be :) the wait is nearly over!

Happy due date missyeovil xx hope the sweep works for you!

I've got the midwife coming round tomorrow so I'll see what her stance is on sweeps, if I'm going to be induced at 40weeks then maybe I can get one just before? How funny all this time I've been wanting minimal medical intervention now I want it all!!! I just want baby here safe and to stop feeling so anxious..

I have been having two breakfasts for the last week! I sometimes have my first bowl at 5am when I can't sleep for hunger so then obvs need another by 8am!! Xx

Glad baby is ok Betty :)

I wonder if the back pain means he's back to back?

happy due date!

im so ready for this baby - im full of worry. been to see my Midwife today and shes concerned over how small he feels when she presses my tummy, she has pressed so hard it is now hurting me - got my growth scan on wednesday but they keep stressing about the movement thing and its making me question things more.

not enjoying these last 3 weeks and hope they induce me on friday when i will be 37 weeks

feel like im not going to bring this baby home :'( xxx

Glad everyone's appointments have gone well.

No sweep for me as they don't perform them where I went (saw community midwife at a clinic in a children's centre). There were some white blood cells in my urine, so that's been sent off, but I haven't had any signs of an infection other than that. All tests from last 2 appointments came back clear. He's now measuring at 41 weeks. The palpating wasn't pleasant- every time she pushed on one side, he applied pressure on the other side that was quite uncomfortable. I don't think he's going to fully engage until active labour as he's still 3/5 engaged. His heartbeat is good and my blood pressure is good, so all looks pretty perfect. Now if only he'd decide to come out.

I did a little shopping after as needed a new mop with our cleaner coming in the morning. I'm trying to stay active, but wow does walking kill me. The arch of my feet hurt and my feet become itchy, and the lower back pain becomes almost unbearable after a while. After remaining pretty damn healthy throughout the pregnancy, I really could live on ice cream and waffles right now. I went a little healthier and had a tuna sub from subway for lunch instead, but the waffles/ice cream place down the road is calling my name. Trying to hold off and stick to somewhat healthier snacks (fruit/peanut butter and nutella sandwiches). It's not easy.

I'm trying some of the acupressure points for bringing on labour next. Hopefully that'll work. I've been getting more back pains and had pain on my right side that sort of felt like side stitches.

Awww Leigh I've had the same worry about not bringing a baby home. It's such a horrible thought ,:-(

I'm sure your little one is just fine. Some babies are just smaller than others and it doesn't mean that there is or will be a problem. It's great that they are keeping a good eye on you both though and I'm sure little man will be here before you know it.

They do say that. Mine was confirmed back to back on the previous scan and I get terrible backache. I can't believe how much being pregnant hurts and how many niggles there are to contend with!

Leigh I also feel the same. When I was waiting to be put on the monitor for the last reduced movement episode I convinced myself that was it. It's so stressful. Midwives know what they are doing though and they wouldn't let you go on if there was a problem. How we love these babies so already! Xx

It can be a sign of back to back, but I started getting back pain now and he's not back to back.

So tired. Stomach not feeling to great. He's doing some crazy movements in there and the pressure created doesn't leave me feeling too great.

My lo isn't back to back and I get bad back ache sometimes. Having a bump changes your posture so that can make your back ache.

i think my little boy is back to back i get terrible back ache really low down too!

when i was in on friday betty i was convinced he wasnt okay been in 3 times now for RM, i just want him here, feel so deflated today.

roll on wednesday xx

Lol aye watch it be Saturday (that's my late grandad and uncles b day so it would be nice to have 3 generations on the same day!) Wouldn't want to miss eurovision though!

I too am gettin back ache.... but I've had back ache since I was 16 lol. I hope they do do a sweep for you hun. I had mine at 39 weeks!

We just had to exchange our new computer as the one we originally got was actually off display that we didn't realise and the dumbos had deleted the boot up program from the system. (OK so I could have redone it myself but I'd rather get a pretty sparkly new one rather than one that's been manhandled by Joe public!)

In some ways my back has gotten a lot better than before pregnancy as it's actually straightened out my spine and posture. Added to the chiropractor visit. I hope it stays this straight after birth. I may not even be able to say I'm a midget anymore!!! Xx

my back is broken lol but ive had problems with my back for years anyway

Went to agility tonight in the hopes that it might get things going. I didn't run the courses just walked round but was still up and moving about.

Back is hurting now, had some good tightenings and a bit of a period feeling on and off but it's not amounting to anything.

We'll see what tomorrow brings...

So I ended up coming down to sleep on the sofa early this morning. It was about 5.20 so not too bad thankfully as it's not the most comfy.

I've barely spoken to hubby this morning, just said good morning and that's it. He got all huffy at me for my snoring again and I woke up from him muttering and sighing loudly to himself. I said are you OK and his reply was no you're fucking snoring! So there's me laying there then, unable to get back to sleep as I know I'll snore again as soon as I do, so I came downstairs.

I'm really upset at him being like this. I can't help it at all and I actually find it quite embarrassing! I'm not even conscious ffs! It's all very well him getting huffy at me for it but what the fuck does he expect me to do about it??!! I might sleep on the pull out bed downstairs for a few nights so at least we can both get a few night's better sleep before bubs arrives.
