***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

We're all thinking of you caseysmummy, hopefully they will stay put for a bit longer yet but if they want to meet you so badly hospitals are amazing these days at looking after teeny babies and i'm sure they're used to it with little twinnies. update us when you can xx

Oh dear! That sounds horrific!

Fingers crossed for you! Xxx

Just to let you know re cramps. MW said to have tonic water!?? Apparently that helps.

Oh gosh caseysmummy!! I hope those little ones stay put a bit longer :hugs:

Oh no Caseysmummy, how worrying. Hope all is OK now and little ones stay put for a bit longer yet xx

Thinking of you Caseysmummy, hope the naughty twosome stay put for a bit longer x

I've had my whooping cough jab, hardly felt it but my arm feels quite heavy and achy now. I walked to, from and around town pushing Blake for nearly three hours and I may have overdone it :( feeling very tired and achy now.

It's the quinine in the tonic water apparently, my grandma gets it on prescription (quinnine, not tonic water) as she suffers badly with cramps.

Im hope now ladies. Babies heart base rate was okay this morning and they're happy that ive got a scan on Tuesday to check on babies. They seem happy enough and not sure if it was the machine at the other hospital or if baby a was just being silly but there's no cause for concern atm. 30 weeks tomorrow. Want them to stay put for 4-6 weeks longer at least will keep my legs crossed. The steroid injections were awful. I had the second one on my bad hip at 4.30 this morning and it hurt for at least half hour afterwards I coukd hardly move my leg, but may help babies develop better. I may have to have a nap soon as only had 3 hours sleep as missed my little boy all night. I cried a few times but I think that was due to worries and being a way from home and extremely hormonal. It was a nightmare trying to keep both babies on the trace! But super glad to be home now. Thanks for your thoughts and wishes ladies means a lot xxx

Glad you're all okay. Although I don't think keeping your legs crossed will help ;) I hope they stay in there a while longer for you.

Glad they're staying put a little longer. Did you get results from your swab? if it was your plug that has started going have they said whether you could go in to labour sooner rather than later or are they not too concerned about it?
I send you a pm with my number, I didn't know if you have a bump buddy or anything and you said your signal was bad so just wanted to give you means of keeping in touch with us or asking any questions etc :) I'm sure you knew we were all thinking about you anyway :) xx

Thanks jessiecat ill save it and send you mine so you know it's me. I had just enough signal to text and Internet was all over the place until it offered me bt wifi which luckily my dad give me his username and password for a while back so coukd log in. But that only came on around 11ish. They're classed as full term at 34 weeks my consultant said but will havea section booked for 36 weeks if they don't come as it's safer with their placenta. The dr I spoke to today said I could be Induced at 36 weeks if I wanted. But it was up to us, but after lots of research and speaking to my consultant at my last appointment we had all agreed that c section was the safest option at 36 weeks mainly for the second baby to be born as first baby could try to pull other babies cord out with her and it could hurt the second baby. So I think im going to stick with that. I could get induced deliver first baby and there is a high chance of csection for the second baby anyways. I think my swab results will be back tomorrow. They were happy it wasn't meconium as my waters hadn't gone which I didn't think they'd had. They never said anything about the mucous plug indicating they could come earlier and it had no blood with it, I lost my mucous plug with my son at 35 weeks but he didn't come til 40+9 so fingers crossed it was like that and just one of those things. I've not had any pains and my braxton hicks haven't increased at all so it's looking okay so far and they checked me yesterday when doing the swab and didn't mention anything about dilation so hoping that's a good sign also. Going to try and rest as much as possible I think though xxx

Glad to hear you're back home now!!! They wouldn't have sent you home if they didn't think you were fine, so great news!!!

Yes im definitely happy to be at home. Got my blanket finished whikst I was in there. Will try post of pic of each babies blankets xxx

Phew glad your home and things seem better, make sure you rest up my love xx

Glad you're back home safe and well Caseysmummy. Take it easy and rest.

xx

Hope everyone os having a better day today been thinking of you all!

Hope you're getting plenty of rest caseysmummy.

I called midwife about lack of movement today and was told to go to the assessment unit. They hooked me up to the monitor and monitored baby's heartbeat for 45 mins. They are not concerned, again it's just probably down to my placenta cushioning the lighter movements.

Whooping cough vaccination tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a good nights sleep xx

Glad you're home caseysmummy and the twins are safe and sound!

My face has broken out in so many spots it's ridiculous.

I've got a really bad throat coming on. I feel like I've swallowed razor blades!
