***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

Larly I hope you feel better soon. Maybe your body telling you to slow down a bit? What with you being in the middle of moving etc? Make sure you're resting between sorting.

I hope Caseysmummy is ok, weird that we havn't heard back?

Ladies my stomach keeps going really hard today. I've had braxton hicks before and I can tell without touching my stomach as it suddenly feels like a rock and my skin goes really tight but this isn't happening, its just solid to the touch all below my belly button. Baby moving fine and im not in any pain, I can't even feel anything happeninig its just when i touch my stomach it feels different? Any ideas?

Hope casey is doing ok, going away for a couple of days but will be keeping an eye on things here as like to know how we are all doing x

Sounds like there's been some active babies over night! This little one is thankfully continuing to be active again but luckily not to the point of making me feel bad.

Flosi major count for you finishing work! Very exciting :) ive only got three or four full five day weeks left the others between now and 1st may are either off or short weeks which is nice :) x

I've got my whooping cough jab this morning, not looking forward to that! It doesn't seem like five minutes since my last one, it's a shame it doesn't stay in your system for subsequent pregnancies

Jessiecat as long as they aren't sore you'll be fine, my belly does thay quite often these days. Try drinking some water being dehyrated makes BH worse xx

Thanks Button, it just doesn't seem like the BH that i'ev had before but no pain so i guess nothing to worry about. Although my back is KILLING me today!! It always hurts because of the SPD/PGP but it doesn't normally get this bad until late at night.
Oh well, the joyus of the last trimester I suppose.

Ooh im going to post my nursery pics for you in a min :)

Hmm maybe just keep and eye on things then to be sure xx

Ohhhh yay!! I love nursery pics!

I've only taken pictures of one side but the other side is just wardrobes and drawers etc so not much to look at.

Im so pleased with it :)
BTW I have put bedding on the cot just for cute factor, baby obviously won't be using it.

Thanks Mayflower, they're from dunelm. I'm a sucker for all things wicker!

Hope you're ok Caseysmummy.

Hope you get to catch up on sleep tonight Durham. Let us know how your jab goes, I've got mine tomorrow. Silly question, but do you feel ok to drive afterwards? I did with the flu jab one, but have heard this one can leave you with quite a painful arm.

Flosi sorry to hear you are so down. I'm lucky to still have my mum around, and know I'd be lost without her support, so can only begin to imagine how you feel. I'm sure you will have everything baby needs on time. As someone else said if you have a look on the NCT site to see if there's a nearly new sale they have so much stuff, you could probably get most of what you need in a couple of hours there.

Hope you feel better soon Larly

Jessiecat, could it be that baby has changed position? Lovely nusery :-)

Glad to hear baby is moving more Elliott, enjoy your days away.

I woke up just before 4am with painful hips, lower back and pelvis, so really tired this morning. Almost didn't come into work and tempted to go home sick (but worry what work will say). Haven't felt any movement yet, not normal for us as normal feel little one very early when still in bed, then nothign whilst getting ready for working and driving in, but usually feel her lots when sat at my desk. Just had two ice cold waters and nothing, so if the same in an hour think I'll call midwife for reassurance. They like to worry us dont they these little ones.

Antenatal was good last night. Discussed c-sections, changed pooey nappies (yes the dolls had filled nappies with marmite, mustard and pesto!!) good practice for cleaning very messy bums with water and cotton wool. Some of the dads faces were great :-) Also did some relaxation, and an exercise where we had a peg with a piece of string attached to mums to be and birthing partner (mines my mum) held the other end, so we could see how its still possible to move around and change position whilst on a monitor. So another good session.

Hope everyone has a good day xx

Well we are trying to think of a different name for baby. We have both totally fallen out of love with Toby :(

Decided I love Oscar. Now to persuade hubby who doesn't like it! But I'm carrying the little monkey & having to give birth to him so I get the deciding vote, right?!?!?!

Think Oscar Alexander Smith has a ring to it :) goes well with Henry too x

Morning all.

No word from caseys then...

Just had my whooping couch jab. Was a bit painful... Waiting to see the midwife!!!

Have had enough of work. A bit stressed out. They are putting so much pressure on us at the moment, it's ridiculous. 7 weeks left.

By the way. As of today, I'm into single figures! 31 weeks. Scary.

Jessie, cute nursery! We've still got to add finishing touches :)

Tried catching up on this thread but I've got no chance. So I hope everyone is ok and babies are all behaving. 31 weeks today too, countdown begins. I washed babies clothes yesterday to pack their bag for the hospital xxx

Hello ladies, I've finally managed to get Internet to be able to post. I've had a horrific 24 hours I tell you. Went to my local daycare with my discharge/mucous plug. They thought it could have been meconium but thank goodness it looks like it was just my mucous plug but still waiting for swab results. Whilst being monitored there baby a heartbeat kept going either really low or really high so they blue lighted me to my maternity unit an hour away with possibility of them deliver but babies we're fine when we got here. I've had 2 steroid injections incase but hopefully will be discharged this afternoon. Fingers crossed. Will keep you updated xxx

Blimey, sounds like you've had a tough time! Hope those babies are still snuggled up in there and all is ok.

Oh blimey caseys hope ur all ok. What a day for u. Must've been a bit scary too :( xx
