***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

Ceph does mean head down orion. Is anyone else finding feet kicks tender almost painful. Im not sure if it's because they're getting less room but my skin feels so sore where they kick atm? Also feeling quite rough and full of cold this afternoon, my nose is blocked but streaming constantly and feeling very tired and achey. I feel like a nap but I only woke up just after 9 and didn't get out of bed til 11! Xxx

Ive no idea where she is lying now I have limbs and movement all over the place in my belly! Can't tell a kick from a head to a bum now, although some days I do feel the pressure down there jessie so get my hopes up thinking she has turned. BUT then today it feels all up the top again and can't breathe... sigh! Lol

Also if she doesn't turn I only have 6 weeks to go as I'm 30 weeks today! Eeep!!!

Durham hope today went okay my love xx

Thanks everyone. Great news that baby has turned for you Bigbee.

I just have this urge to push but it's at the back not the front and every now and again I flinc with a random sharp pain in my bum, only lasts a second though.
I'm such a whinge bag at the minute.

jessiecat, I don't know what feeling pressure in you bum means, but guess it could be babys position. I was monitored at the hospital yesterday and midwife said shes head down, and today when I have squatted down to get things ou of the cupboards (back hurts to bend, so have to squat or kneel) it felt like so much presuure in my bits, that it feels like she'll come out! Perhaps check with your midwife.

Bigbee, hope you have a nice weekend after your stressful week at work.Good that baby has turned.

Hope your cold clears up soon Caseysmummy.

I had my whooping cough vaccination this afternoon, nurse said it also includes Polio, Diphtheria and tetanus, which I didn't realise. But she said that's the standard one they give pregnant ladies and then baby once she's older. My neck really hurts on my left hand side and got headache, don't know if that's a coincidence or from the jab.

I watched OBEM and Childbirth - All or nothing earlier. Wishing I hadn't watched the second one!!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. We are going out for mothers day lunch on Sunday with my mum, sisters and their families. So that will be nice. Builders are here again tomorrow, so that wont be a very quiet day.

xx

I haven't watched childbirth all or nothing yet is it any good or too much? Im intrigued to watch it but don't want to scare myself lol.
I'm so hungry! Although I feel rough my appetite has rocketed, all I want to eat is a good roast dinner with lots of veggies! Haven't got the ingredients or the energy to cook one though.
I might suggest to my oh that of im feeling up to it Sunday we should go for the local carvery.
I've ended up with pasta with bacon and a mushroom sauce which was still yummy and has filled me up a bit. Going to have a warm bath and get to bed soon I think!

It could be babies position jessie is it long til you see your midwife? I know age will be able to know by feeling. I wish I could do that as I can't tell the what's what bar kicks and punches lol.

Glad baby has turned for you bigbee.

I've gotmy whooping cough jab on Thursday after I see the midwife. Not sure which side to have it on though as I toss and turn all night, lying on my left makes my back ache and lying on my right gives me heartburn so I can't win lol. Xxx

I rang for advice as the Bain is making me flinch every few minutes and I'm going in to be checked. My internet doesn't work out of wifi though so il update when home xx

Jessie, I've had that one-second-bum-pain a couple of times!!! I put it down to BH...

I hope everything is fine!!! Let us know what happens. Fingers crossed. Xxx

My baby is head down, and I get a lot of pressure in my bits so it feels like she's going to fall out at times! Especially when I am walking!

Hope all is ok Jessie, sounds like there's some naughty May babies at the moment!

I have the midwife and whooping cough jab on Tuesday.

Thanks ladies. I found some wifi!
Well I've been admitted and looks like I'm in labour. I've started the steroid injections and they are taking me to see neonatal until tomorrow as well as meeting with paediatrician. It's all feeling very serious. They did that swab that shows if I'm in labour or not and it apparently 97% accurate and I came back positive. Please don't let our Any of our May babies be March babies!
My husband is going out of his mind. I'm still trying to digest it.

Sending positive vibes your way Jessiecat! Hope everything is okay xxx

Oh jessie, I know how your feeling as I was there only a couple of days ago, although not in labour, they wanted to deliver babies if ones heart rate didn't pick up. I'm sorry your having to go through this hun, I sent you my number via pm if you wanted to text me hun. Hopefully they can try to stop the contractions for you, the injections are usually just incase hun and they're pretty quick acting from what I've read hun. Im keeping you in my thoughts hun. Xxx

Thinking of you jessicat, hope baby holds on in there a bit longer yet. Hope the hospital are looking after you. Sending you positive thoughts and best wishes.

Caseysmummy sorry somehow missed your post. The births in childbirth all or nothing were OK to watch, I just didn't really like the bits where one woman kept the placenta attached to baby until it fell off on its own (a few days) and another woman ate hers. The rest of the show was OK but those bits were a bit much for me.

Wide awake as woke up half and an hour ago with aching hips and back.

Hope everyones OK xx

Oh okay thanks blueeyes might watch that later as spending the day in bed resting today, im in the same boat with hips and back this morning too and this blocked nose and constant heartburn is racking me off too.
Hope your able to get some more rest blueeyes xxx

You too Caseysmummy. I swear it's our bodies way of getting us used to little sleep!! xx

Oh wow Jessiecat, hope baby stays put for a bit longer but you're in the best place! Thinking of you.

Thanks everyone, I've barely slept and I mean I bet I've had an hour all together tops. A woman on the bay snoring like a steam train, I'm obviously not feeling well and have a million things in my head.
How was everyone else's night?
Il be back on trace shortly to check how contractions are doing and then more steroids which bloody kill!!
Am I really selfish I just want the steam train next to me to wake up so I can rest in quiet :(
Apparently they don't do bed rest or anything now so have said regardless what I do labour will either progress or they will manage to stop it but it doesn't matter if I lie here for a week or go for a jog! At least I can keep getting myself a drink etc

I've stored your number casey :) thank you x

Oh my Jessie! Hope you're ok, and that it stops soon. How scary for you x

Thank you for all the wishes everyone, yesterday was quite hard. I was struggling through the service until the man reading the tribute mentioned that she has many great grandchildren, with two more on the way that she will never meet. I looked straight at my SIL who is due in August and we both burst into tears

Needless to say I slept well last night through sheer emotional exhaustion.
