***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

Thanks girls- pleased I'm not the only one and you've put my mind at rest! Nipped into to next this morning and cheered myself with a mega cute baby grow purchase :)
Sounds like a couple of us are having a bit of a rough time with illness, quiet babies and GTT so hope everything goes well for you all and you all feel much better/ more at ease soon x

Usually you have your GTT around 28 weeks - so if it's not been mentioned yet, you probably won't be having one Elliot.

Mayflower, I've been told to have that jab between 28 and 32 weeks???

Jessiecat are you taking anything for your chest infection? I feel so ill with it. Coughing and wheezing and now on top of that my sinuses are really painful and contstant blocked shortly nose, it just doesn't seem to want to go.

Bigbee I was told 28-32 weeks for whooping cough jab too

Xx

28-32 weeks is the ideal time for the whooping cough jab, but you can have it upto 38 weeks.

I had mine this week and my arm still stings a bit. Definitely have it on the side you don't sleep on.

I've just booked it for the same day I am next at the midwife which will be when I am 31 weeks anyway.

Nope :(
You're ahead of me I think, i'm not at the snotty nose stage but apparently that is a sign of the infection coming out so hopefully you're on the home run. Im all blocked up and chest is so heavy. I do anything I can to avoid coughing as when it starts it's really hard to stop, bring all sorts of mucky stuff up (sorry!) and it takes forever for me to be able to breathe again. I had a bit of fever with it last night so took some paracetamol but that's it, nothing more we can take :( I have the really achy muscles with it as well and the general unwell feeling. Just managed to play slinky on the stairs for 10 minutes with my son now I feel like I need to sleep to recover it's wiped me out!
Lots of hugs I hope you feel better soon xx

I was told by 38 weeks for whooping cough jab, i'm booked in for next Friday so hopefully chest infection will have budged by then!

Jessiecat its horrible isn't it. I have to keep holding my bump when coughing as it hurts now I have been coughing so much. Yep same here, coughing nasty stuff up to and really takes my breath away after a coughing fit, and heart races for a while. Feeling a bit sorry for myself now, really would like it to go so I can enjoy being pregnant. Hope you feel better soon.

I have my whooping cough jab next thursday so hopefully be well and truly better by then.

xx

Hello my darling girls! I don't know if any of u remember me but I was with u at the start, losing my wee angel baby at 8 weeks back in oct. Well, I just wanted to look in on u all, so fantastic to see how you are all blooming! I'm happy to report a wee bit of news I found out today that I'm pregnant again! Really excited :-)

Lots of love, not long now and fabulous to see some old faces so close to due date now congratulations! Xx

Ah Quinn that is such lovely news :) congratulations and best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Girls Orion is right- get the whooping cough on the side you don't want to sleep on. I had mine in my left arm like an idiot and struggled for days! V baby brain thing to do but at the time I never thought!

Congrats Quinn, fantastic news! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xx

Congratulations quinn I also remember you hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Jessie I did at the beginning quite badly so much so I was put on bed rest for a week, I was told it was because my uterus was pushing down with it being twins and that once it went above the pubic bone it would settle which it did, it was thrombosis ed and very painful I coukd hardly walk (sorry if tmi) you can use all the creams I was told to see if that helps and too buy some lactolose? To help when going and to try not to strain.
Im officially fasting now. Does anyone know if I can still brush my teeth in the morning. I have brushed them tonight before 9pm just incase but will feel awful if I can't brush them in the morning? Im now doing the shopping online which im thinking I should have done before I started fasting lol.
Sorry to hear your both still feeling so rough blueeyes and jessie! Could you see your gp for anti biotics of itsa chest infection? I had one this time last year and gp give met anti biotics when it got to my chest although I wasn't pregnant.
I've been organising babies stuff tonight. Got all the clothes ready to wash and un tagged it all and put all toiletries in the toiletry box. Going to get the babies drawers tomorrow so can putwhatim not taking to hospital away once they're all dry. And going to pack their bag for hospital ready.
Hope everyone else is well xxx

Caseysemummy what time is your first test tomorrow? I'm in at 8.15 but told I can eat unitil midnight? Although I'm in bed now so unlikely to be eating anymore, I am still drinking squash though. I have no internet at the hospital so won't be able to get online until I get home :(
I have downloaded that new childbirth programme to watch whilst there though.

Sounds like you had it tough with pipes, this has only jut started for me but I think I'm quite run down wih a few things so il probably get every lovely pregnancy symptom over the next few weeks!

The baby stuff organising sounds good fun :)
