**** June & July 2013 Mummies and Babies ****

Hi girls

How is everyone ? How are all our little monsters ? Haha

So Christmas ......
What's everyone bought/thinking of buying ? What are your little ones into at the moment ? I think iv finished apart from 1 big present which I'm trying to find. So far Santa has for Olly -

My first Scooter
Piano and microphone set with stand and little chair (Chad valley)
Formula 1 pit stop and car garage set (loves watching f1 with daddy)
Paw patrol walkie talkies
Chainsaw and drill set
Shopping trolley set
Fireman Sam fire engine
And I'm on the look out for a lovely dolls house for him.
I'm sure iv missed something off the list, my mam has bought him everything associated with Bing and a few other things.
I also bought him a prezzie from the baby but he won't get that until she is born, it's a peppa pig musical book and I'll wrap that with some sweeties and give it when he comes into hospital - I'll also make an afternoon of us going yet to find the baby a prezzie and we will wrap it up, need everything sorted in case she comes early.

As for family they are all getting a tub of chocolates from Olly and vouchers from us. Last year I made such an effort buying everyone individual presents from us and also from Olly and I'm not doing it this year - took my bloody ages to wrap them too !
Only exception is my mam and dad - they do a lot for us so they will be getting special prezzies

Xx

We aren't going overboard this year and so far have got:

Hi girls, how you all doing? Hope all the baby bumps are good! We are good. On day 4 of Quitting the Dummy and its been a struggle but he's getting better every night! Next thing will be moving to his wee bed...still haven't done that lol He's generally a happy wee guy and chatting and singing away. Makes up for the tantrums!

I have to admit I'm a little obsessed with Christmas and buying pressies and getting bargains! Our list
Dolls house (queenriccy we're getting this one http://www.toysrus.co.uk/mobile/toys/doll-house-with-50-pieces/0025587 - I like that it's not pink!)
Indoor Trampoline
Scooter
Little tikes Pirate ship ride on
Tonka truck
Duplo my first playhouse and my first farm
Iggle piggle teddy & jammies
Books (got about 6 I think)
Peppa pig stuff (bought a second hand bundle off gumtree...not sure how much longer he'll be in to it, it's been a whole year already)
Happyland stuff - bakery and sherwood castle (from mum)
Slinky dog from toy story (he loves slinkys)

The pirate ride on and tonka truck were Amazon bargains I bought ages ago.

I did a bit of a toy clear out but still concerned about where we're gonna put all this stuff!

It was happyland year last year!!! We got quite a bit, I'll see what else there is tho. Just seen a fireman Sam ocean rescue centre I might get. I'm tempted to use bing as a present from baby but then need to replace it.

I love it when I see our thread bumped to the top :-) xxx

Hi ladies...was shocked to see this at the top of the page...I was like "Oh, that's my group"

I ordered Olivers bike today :) Have also bought him a leappad platinum...so many to choose from, but think it's the right one.

Induction on Monday...although getting a few tightening's today and little one is being especially squirmy and putting loads of pressure on my bits. Something I never experienced with Oliver as he was high up until I was induced at 42 weeks.

Hope you and your toddlers are all good. Christmas will be so exciting this year. They can understand a little bit more. xx

Looking forward to your scan results on Tuesday Dani - that's my birthday :)

xx

Ohhh i didnt realise induction was so soon Nat!! Looks like he fould be arriving on the weekend at this rate though! Its all happening yay!
If not atleast it sounds like its making his way down so induction should (fx) be responsive quick!

Just remembered Noahs had an actual bike for christmas too lol, but had it early off my dad.
Why i thought an electric motorbike was also needed ill never know! Haha! 2 bed house with enough toys to fill a shop and baby no2 on the way. Good thinking Dani lol!!

Will update u all after my scan :) xx

Lovely To see this thread get bumped!!

I've only bought rosie one Xmas present so far and that's a scooby doo pirate scary house thing from tesco! Was meant to be £40 but was £20 so I'm happy with my bargin! She's really into little action figure toys so will get her a few sets I think going to try and budget really hard this year cos we need to buy Rosie a new bedroom furniture set in the new year to free up her nursery stuff!!

Good luck with your induction Nat hope it all goes swimmingly! Looking forward to hearing that baby has arrived safe and sound! X

Aww Natalie good luck! And happy birthday for Tuesday.

Yeah Becky Matthew got Happyland last year too, the zoo, Safari and school bus but I would say he's only just getting in to the last few months. He's started giving names to some of the wee characters, we have a Polly, Joe and Patch so far haha! So cute. I can't wait to see his face when he opens the dolls house. He loves playing with them at friends houses! Great seeing their imagination come alive!

I hadn't even thought of something like a leap pad but I know he would love something like that cos he's obsessed with our iPad, we have to hide it! He loves watching nursery rhymes on you tube lol. Think that'll be a birthday present. We were going to get him a balance bike for Christmas but thought that would be a better birthday pressie too with it being summer.

Aww it's almost exactly 3 years since we conceived Matthew, it was 21st Oct. I will always remember that whole weekend and my smiley face on my opk hehe! Found out on 1st Nov, crazy! Shame it took 33 flamin months of ttc but he was worth the wait.

I love seeing our thread bumped too, lovely keeping in touch :)

I got my bfp 24th oct 2012 and i cant beleive how fast its gone!
Mental to think ill be having my dating scan for baby no2 3 years on!

All these xmas pressies sound fab!!

No idea what id get as a 3rd bday pressie lol! He has so bloody much! Had that big wooden play house for the garden for his 2nd!
We are defonately doing Longleat instead of a party though. We love a good zoo visit for his birthdays lol.

Can't beleive ill had an 8ish week old by that point!!!! Eeek!

Noah started nursery beginning of this month.
Its classed as a playgroup as its only 3hr sessions, amazing price of £12.50 though and its so cute, set up like a little nursery. Hes already come on loads and askes to go on the days hes not there lol!!! :) xx

Wow, haven't seen this thread up the top for a while!

Congrats on your pregnancy dani! & good luck with your induction nat!

I have ONE Christmas present so far, very unorganized! Life is so hectic having a almost 11 month old & a very high energy 2 year old I can't even remember what day it is sometimes lol.

Harrison is in nursery for 3.5hrs a day 4 days a week now, we got referred for funding through SEN as he's STILL not talking, he's having lots of speech therapy & is learning some new sounds & words but when you compare him to his peers he's so so behind. He had a biopsy of his gut done at the hospital a few months ago & he was diagnosed gluten, wheat & dairy intolerant after a long long battle with weight gain. We hoped when we switched it would improve his speech but unfortunately its not worked that way. He's my problem child haha!

Zachary is a crazy nutcase, crawling around & babbling all day long. We are still bfing, and Ive turned into a co-sleeping, babywearing, cloth nappying, hippy mum haha, & I love it!

I'm training to become a breastfeeding peer supporter & a babywearing consultant at the moment & have recently opened my own breastfeeding support group which is going really well, but yeah with ALL that going on I haven't had a chance to think about Christmas!

Good luck Nat - can't wait for pictures.

Sara - are you super women?! Josh is behind with speech too although in the last 3 weeks has come on amazingly. We are being referred to a speech group (supposedly, in still waiting), hoping we won't need it but it'll be good to have the referral just in case.

I found out this morning they want to do my c section at 36 ish weeks - that's 3 weeks away so I am having a complete meltdown as I'm not sorted, I wanted Josh in his new room for a month or so first... Never mind the fact baby will be classed as a premmie :-/ although is already estimated to be 5 lb 9oz!! xx

Wow becky 3 weeks!! It'll all be fine don't worry hun. Exciting!!

Sara hi! My god you've got your hands full! Well done on the bf support group that's fantastic. No wonder you've not thought about crimbo. It's still a while away though, not even had Halloween yet!

So is it literally just me and laurat who are not preggers or already have one?! I can't imagine ttc again or being pregnant. Sometimes I think maybe....then I'll have a bad day with Matthew and I'm thankful it's just him lol! You are all very brave I reckon xxx
