**** June & July 2013 Mummies and Babies ****

Meant to mention Dani - Matthew is the same with a spoon! Won't feed himself and is quite reluctant to even let me spoon feed him. I have to distract him with a toy or tv. He is better with a fork. Not sure when they are meant to be feeding themselves with a spoon?? It's one of the things I worry about a lot! What are the rest go your little ones like?

We have had progress with a spoon.
Only while eating yogs atm tho lol.. He will now hold it and dip the spoon into the yog pot to feed himself..
But will still sit there if dinner requires to be spoon. He will just shove his hands in still otherwise!!
I really dont know the age that they 'should' be doingit by...
But i really would like him to properly by the time hes 2 xxx

I bought Emily a toddlers fork as she was trying to eat her meals with the spoons but couldn't scoop it up properly. She's doing so much better with the fork. Feeds herself fine with spoon for things like yoghurt. Makes a mess but gets most of it on her gob! Lol x

We have made progress with a fork too. Iv started putting food on a plate and giving him and fork and spoon - before it all just went on his tray and he used his fingers. I find if I put desert (crumble, apple pie etc) into his suction bowl he can eat it himself with a spoon, and if I hold a yog pit for him - another other bowl he would much rather pick it up and pour it on his head xx

Harrison is brill with a fork, he always has a plate with his food on & a fork & spoon & he's not too bad with spoon but there's room for improvement lol.

'Luckily' he seems to have picked up OHs ocd for cleanliness, so hates having messy hands so I don't have to worry about it too much lol x

That's good you've had progress dani. Matthew will eat his beans with a spoon (he loves beans!!) but anything else he's not interested. I'll persevere!

Sara how are things with baby Zachary? How's Harrison with him? xx

Awh he's really well thankyou, little angel really!

Harrison is warming up to him a bit now, he's started checking "babas there" when he's playing & that which is cute, he also has started to come sit next to me when I'm holding him which is nice as for the first week or so he wouldn't even come near me if I was feeding!

Tell you though, having two is bloody hard work lol. Constant stream of pooey nappies & feeding one of them lol!

Aww how adorable! Two beautiful baby boys, just lovely. I'm in awe of anyone with more than one child so I take my hat off to you xx

So lovely to hear everyone's updates.

Josh was doing really well with a fork and spoon but seems to have relapsed and I caught him eating his yogurt with his fingers the other day!

I can't wait until Christmas, I finish work next Wednesday lunchtime and don't go back until 12th Jan. We'll spend a few days at my mum and dads from Christmas Day night so will be spoilt and won't have to do very much :-)

In other exciting news we've decided to start ttc again - not going all out with opk yet just really ntnp for the first couple of months and trying to time it right. Scary and exciting times. xx

Hi Girls,

Well I am 4 Days late :-?

I went for a colscopy on the 21st November and I came off the Pill the same day, I was an awful moody bitch, had gone off sex so me and Hubby argreed that we will try another form of non-hormonal contraception (him thinking withdrawal, me thinking condom). I came on on the 4th December and bleed lightly for a few days. My periods were always regular even not on the pill 28/29 days. Now I don't know what to do !!

I have done 3 tests, last one being my morning wee this morning and the most negative I have ever seen.

I am in hospital on the 19th for loop excision and they have told me they cant do it if im pregnant.

It took 5 days being late to get a positive with Olly, and then I used 10mu tests - this time I am using 20mu

Arghhhhhh ............ I HATE THIS !!

XX

Oh hun it's such a frustrating place to be in limbo! Have you used a frer? I would think a bfp would show up by now but you never know. Keep us posted xx

Tbh we are skint, we have spent a fortune over Christmas and I cant justify spending a tenner if It negative :-( What is the sensitivity of a frer ?

x

I'm not sure but I know that are meant to be the most reliable, even more so than a digi early on (not in my case with Matty I got a positive at 12dpo - go figure!). You'll know either way by the 19th I would imagine. Doesn't help you today though does it! Sorry hun hope you find out soon. The constant wondering would drive you nuts though, I remember it well x

Iv been and bought 2 superdrug tests, done one in the works toilet and the light is crap i cant see a thing, Had a sneek peek while at my desk and im sure I can see a very very faint line, i need to get a good look at it though

xx

Iv had a look and I don't think it's a positive, I have taken a picture and inverted it and I can't see a very faint line but I think my eyes are tricking me xx
