**** June & July 2013 Mummies and Babies ****

I'm with you Becky! Rosie's birthday isn't til 22nd July but we've agreed her actual birthday will just be a family day out to beach/aquarium. I just want to be selfish and have her all to ourselves! We will probs pop in to see grandparents to keep them quiet! :-) xx

Laura - I forgot our boys are birthday buddies - Josh is the 26th too and BBQ/party on the Saturday, so that's two of us hoping for good weather.

xx

Emily's birthday is the 21st of July. We are having a little tea party for her on the Sunday so family and friends can pop round. Also doing her cake then as well. Then on the Monday(her birthday) we are going to go to the zoo as a family. Still can't believe she's going to be 1!! Time has went so quickly! Xx

Olly will be 1 on the 20june and we are having his party on the 21st so also hoping for good weather. Hubby has just been promoted at work so cannot take the Friday off so it will just be a mammy and Olly day on his birthday and dad will be home at 6pm, we are going to go to is swimming lesson as planned then lunch and I will take him to the park.

Xxx

Harrison's birthday is the 5th of July (it's a Saturday) and we are having a big family garden party/bbq, lottsss of people coming - despite my previously saying I didn't want one, then on the sunday we are having a family day of the zoo or aquarium depending on the weather. I'm excited but have lots to do to get ready for it x

Well ladies judging by all the BBQ parties June and July better be scorching!!!

Ha yes it's a pain . Yes I praying its not going to rain xx

Ryan will be 1 on 16th june, he was born on father's day last year, cant believe hes almost a year old I dont know where the time went, hes such a hapoy little boy and very VERY determined, were planning a trip to the beach for his birthday this year and maybe the farm, but its all weather depending. Ryan now has 8 teeth, walking around the furniture and likes to say mama and dada a lot, hes not too fussed on his bottles anymore he loves to eat solid foods and really likes fish fingers and shepherds pie, his favourite toy is scout he smiles and hugs him, very cute! How are all your little ones?

CR is one on the 15th of June.
She's been taking a few steps recently, the most she's taken is 4.
She's really understanding words and points to things and she waves and claps. Cute and proud mummy moment was when the hairdresser was here and I asked her if she wanted her waves cutting and she waved! Awwww.
She's got 12 teeth now.
She has a morning and night bottle, still struggling to wean her onto cups for milk and getting her to drink fluids is hard.
We are going to family in England for her birthday and will have separate get togethers with our families.
Xx

30th July for L, no plans as of yet but will be doing something with the family on the weekend. Still no teeth here at all ......

They'll come thick and fast when they do! A month ago Rosie didn't have any, now she has 4!!

Robyner I love it when they show you that they understand what your saying! So far Rosie understands clap, wave and up (arms in air) - when she first did it I thought my child must be a genius!! Xx

I really hope so ... I feel like for the last six months I've been on teeth watch !!

Teeth are odd things! After Josh got his first 2 at just over 4 months I thought by now he'd have loads - but no, only 6! After the first 2 nothing for months and months x

Harrison had zero teeth one day & 5 the next! He literally had 5 come through over night, then another one the day after. So we have 6 now x think hes teething again now, so reckon we will have a few more over the next few weeks x

For those that formula fed, will you be weaning onto cows milk? If so do you do that by introducing it gradually or what? I'm away to my family 3 days before cr is one and I thought I would just go straight onto cows milk, but wasn't sure if this was right. I mean, we've cooked with it and she has it on cereal. I guess the only issue I have is if she dosent like it to drink.
What's everyone doing or done? :) xx

We've switched his afternoon feed to cows milk, still formula in the morning & night. He loves it, probably drinks more than formula actually. Once he turns 1 we will switch to cows milk fully x

We're still on formula & bfing here. Think Josh has a cows milk allergy so waiting to see the dietician to see how to proceed. I think like Sara's doing sounds like a good idea - introducing for just one feed at first. x
