*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Hopefully we'll find new better jobs when we're ready to go back and be much happier! x

Anyone else up at this crazy hour? Just to let you know one born USA is on. First time I've seen it. Anyone watched it before xx

I'm awake now... Didn't even know one born USA was a thing. Is it on sky? Landlord won't let us get sky :(

X

Does anyone else have unquenchable thirst!? I am having to drink all through the night and I still wake up headachey and with a dry mouth and tongue. Not sure what to do!

Hi girls, as expected, rather than being a June mummy I am now a May mummy! Noah William Hamilton arrived at 5:45pm yesterday weighing 8lbs 15oz! Am exhausted, but over the moon,of course!
Hope you are all doing well :-)

Wow congratulations openeyes. June mummies are popping so soon. Hope you are both doing well x

Ah lovely news! Congratulations! X

Congrats openeyes

I'm often awake early. I get really thirsty a lot too!

Congratulations Openeyes!! Lovely name and such a healthy weight.

All I can suggest is keeping hydrated throughout the day too Kelly. Although I'm pretty sure there was someone else suffering this a couple of months back - Was it you Charlie?

On another note pretty sure a had a little bit of a show this morning :) Sorry if TMI but looked a lot like snot when you have a nasty cold (really really sorry for TMI). I'm not expecting anything to happen soon - as they say you can lose your plug in bits and bobs for weeks. But still exciting!!

x

Morning Mums2b! Saw midwife yesterday - head is engaged! As its my 5th baby I don't know if it will stay that way? I've got a back ache, cramps and had what looks like the start of my plug coming away too. I'm 36+3 and am having another growth scan next week because of my age (41)
I'm very excited now. My brother is coming home from Singapore at the weekend for his wedding - and to start his new job in London. The wedding is June 13th and I'm wondering if I will have my baby by then?! Xxx

Morning ladies!!

Congratulations open eyes, hope your both doing well x

Pismo and julies4gems...their very promising signs! Looks like babies are getting them selves ready! June isnt far away now.

Ive nothing exciting going on at this front. Had cramps and aching legs again going to bed but slept well. Sweep no. 3 at 9.30 this morning so fingers crossed its 3rd time lucky!! x

That is good julies4gems. This is my second (full term) and my midwife said the head doesn't engage properly until you're in labour, apparently they have more room to move about. Not sure how true that is though!

Good Luck HH - Keep us updated

Going to have a nap as been awake since 4am - although managed to get some chores done while OH was sleeping :) Was experiencing low back pain throughout night too, so fingers crossed my body is at least getting ready.

Keep us updated Julie!!

x

Looking forward to hearing it thus next sweep gets things moving for you HH!

I was quite crampy last night, really low down. Was on my ball for a while though. Cramps were still there when I woke up for a wee in the middle of the night. Nothing today - presuming that's normal?

Cleaning the house today, have no stamina for it at all anymore. There's a corner of the bath I can't reach so am going to ask OH when he gets home. And cleaning down lots and lots of mould! Moving out the weekend back to inlaws until our new house is ready, we're lucky we have somewhere to stop over! X

39 weeks today and no symptoms :-(!!!!

I am booked onto a physio/birthing class at the hospital today but dunno if I wanna go. It might freak me out now. Anyone been to something similar?

Congrats openeyes! Lovely news.

Oh Pismo you had a sweep that will be why you are losing your plug. That does sound promising! And good look HH with no3!

I have zero symptoms suggesting labour either, and I'm 39+2... Best to get to due date but just hope we don't go too far over!!

Had to go hospital last night as bashed my bump pretty hard on a door handle right where baby is lying, and with my blood group I was told I'd need an anti D injection if that happened. So off I went and spent two hours hooked up to monitor as movements were reduced all day too. Well of course my little one was back to her usual wiggly self as soon as hooked up so all good!!!

Congratulations open eyes :) !

Sounds like there are definitely going to be more June babies making an appearance soon. Julie I had heard that a FTM's baby can engae a few week before birth whereas for a mum who's given birth already, baby comes soon after they engage so maybe you will have your baby for your brothers wedding!

Colettey I would probably go but I think you're right, I would be freaked out if it's the chat they give you showing the movement of baby down the pelvis? That made me feel a bit ill but, if it's the same class, there's a bit where they teach your birthing partner to massage you etc.

I used my ball for the first time last night and feel a bit like Bethyboo. Baby was quite unsettled when I went to bed and I woke up with a sore back and my legs feel like they can't carry me today. Felt like I couldn't get myself to work but I battled through the longing for my sofa and there's no ruddy desk for me at work today! I'm having to hop between desks as people are in and out of meetings x
