Just been to my physio appointment. Hopefully last one before the baba arrives ! Had to get up last night about 12.30 for wee walk cos baby was going wild and was having tonnes of BH too. Seems to be a common theme this morning! Was pretty uncomfy. But they stopped and managed to get back to sleep.

Off to cinema with my wee mum and dad! Is great - they are plush and paying for the IMAX - I would never pay for that haha!

Oh there is plenty of space for the May mums to join in here! Tasha you have always thought you would be a June mum anyways!

Gosh HH - 3rd sweep with favourable cervix and still no proper contractions. Stubborn wee baby!! Come on out little one

It's my second wedding anniversary on Sunday and have just done a daddy's survival box for my hubby, excited for him to have it now! Included a euro millions ticket for Tuesday as its baby's due date xx

Hi ladies. Just trying out coming on pf on my phone.... had my sweep about midday. Whoop. She reckons head 4/5 engaged which surprised me as my main said it wouldn't happen until I am in labour! Anyway she managed to reach and do it but being my first sweep not expecting much. Booked for another on Monday.

Rachyroo im sure that was nerve wrecking for you, hopefully baby will stay put longer and not give u any more false alarms.

Sounds like everyone's making more progress. Im ok after yest sweep although have noticed increased discharge and more cramping and backache. The cramps seemed to come in waves although wasnt able to time them as there wasnt an obvious start end or tightening. Just feel generally crampy now...urgh. Im childfree today so going to jump in bath soon. Im getting my hair done tomorrow as just realised how bad my roots are, so would really like baby to stay put until tomorrow preferably lol x

What did you go to see at the cinema? My hands were soaked when I rubbed my legs!

Still feeling bit poop this afternoon, just not myself, had another hour of sleep which has perked me up a bit but the thought of eating anything tonight, let alone fish and chips tonight is making me heave. But in laws are off on holiday tomorrow and it's the MILs birthday so need to make an effort, hopefully bubba will come before next weekend, it sounds really bad but will be nice to have a bit of space when bubba first comes.

I have just read my card from properly and said my goodbyes (I'm still at my desk as I'm going out for my Dad's Bday) and I feel really touched as I think some people will genuinely miss me! Of course it's mostly down to my charm, good humour and looks x

Just home! Saw San Andreas - was good fun if you like that kinda silly action movie ! Baby went mental during it from the noise. Before I went in had to take paracetamol cos was getting terrible groin pain. Not sure if was BH becoming strong or if baby was leaning on nerves causing shooting pains. Either way was bloody sore and was making me walk like John Wayne lol!

I caved and bought a tens machine.... Think I was just scared in case I can't handle the contraction pain before getting to hospital. Anyone else got one/used one before??

I hired a tens machine from mothercare! Excited to try it, fingers crossed it helps a bit!

It's my bday today, going out for dinner soon but thought I'd come on for some reassurance as I've had a busy wee day pregnancy wise!

Was at midwife this morning and she said there was protein and blood in my urine, then she had a wee feel of my belly and was a bit concerned that baby was breech! So booked me in for a scan. Cos I'm only 10 days from my due date I needed to go in for an emergency one today! What a birthday lol. .

Anyways, turns out baby is head down so all good. But the sonographer said my baby was on the large side. Above the 95th percentile! She asked if id had blood sugar etc tested and I said no. So I ended up getting bloods, bp and urine taken today (after having about three cupcakes at lunch as well! It is my bday after all haha). They said if the results show up anything I may need to go for GTT. I'll be 39 weeks on Monday this is surely pushing it for time eh??

So basically I'm now terrified that my monster of a baby won't fit through my foof and I'm concerned in case he's gonna be harmed coming out. Never thought I'd say this but kinda want a section now!!

My first was on the 97th centile when born and i managed to get her out with ventous and an episiotomy.

I bought a tens with DD. I will probably use it again but I'm not convinced it really helped x

Sorry ladies for not keeping up. I just wondered if any of you have experienced any bleeding recently. I woke up this morning went to the loo and lost a little dark blood. I have had a pad on all day and lost a tiny bit more nothing to speak of. Then about half an hour ago I felt a trickle so went to loo. I probably lost about a tablespoon between my pad and the toilet. I am now laying on the floor next to dd trying to get her sleep worrying that I should really call the hospital. Is a tablespoon anything to worry about?

I had another bleed a few weeks ago, smallest yet, probably a couple of teaspoons. I called up hoping not to need to go in, thought they might say keerp an eye on it, but they said I definitely had to go in. Always worth getting any bleeding checked to be safe even though it is quite common and they often can't decipher a cause x

Feeling pretty sure that sweep didn't work? I know it's only been 8 hours but think I'd have some signs by now!

Didn't someone else have a sweep yesterday? Was it pismo??

Merlin - I would call the hospital if you bled, they may not be concerned but give them a chance to assess you over the phone. Keep us updated. Fingers crossed its nothing to be worried about.

Buggy - I had one on Wednesday, lost a little bit of my plug but nothing else. Have been experiencing more lower back/period type pain however hasn't been so bad as to need paracetamol or anything. Will get another one at my consultant appointment next Tuesday.

Seems there are a few more symptoms popping up for early June mummies. Fingers crossed none of us go ridiculously over - Keeping my fingers crossed for LO arriving before due date.

Sorry to hear some of you are feeling under the weather too, think it may be an end of pregnancy thing as I'm not feeling 100% at the mo either.

Anyone with nice plans for the weekend? I'm spending tomorrow morning on a speed awareness course

Oh dear pismo, not the way to spend your weekend!

No real plans here, housework etc and spending time with Dr. At least I don't have to work tomorrow. Hope baby makes an appearance over the weekend!

Buggy & Pismo, theres still time for your sweeps to work...i was hoping u would prove me wrong lol any pains i was having has seemed to die off nothing going on here at all so think sweep no. 3 failed too I wasnt joking when i said id probably go for a record!

Hopefully there will be some babies this weekend...seems to of got quiet on the baby front x
