*** June 2015 Mummies ***

She just lives in what you would call lala land with the fairies.. Seriously I mean I have to be careful anyway with our cat as she will only use a litter tray which I am but the fact our front garden smells like a festival portaloo. Just no common sense to call us if unsure about what to do...

Oh I am having such a miserable time with bras!! I got measured yesterday while I was in Cardiff and the lady in Mothercare told me I was the same size as I was wearing... strange, but she just suggested a different type of bra eg no wires and a fuller cup. She also told me to come back in 6-8 weeks to be measured for a nursing bra.

I thought for just 6-8 weeks I'm not spending £16 each for a couple of bras, so went to Primark and got some bras in the size she said and they're so tight and uncomfortable :( :( :( I actually might have to take it off :( I am in serious need of buying a couple of bras but I just don't trust the measurement, it's completely out (I understand different shops' sizing will fluctuate a bit but this just doesn't fit me at all). I'm just gonna have to order some online in different sizes and hope something is okay. Nightmare.

*Yep bra's just come off. Can't believe I'm in the office with no bra :( xx

Oh and I forgot to add she just laughs at everything I say because she doesn't agree, one example is just because I don't want to drink 30 cups of tea a day like she does. Heard her mumbling in the kitchen saying 'oh has she gone off tea again' just because I wanted a glass of water.

Oh no bethyboo, sounds bit of a nightmare. I actually got a couple of nursing bras in debenhams which I'm just going to wear now and have extenders if I need them. I can't get much bigger than I already have!!

I'm not even that big! Was measured at 34c, but feel like my rib cage is about 70 or something lol. Just ordered some in 34 and 36 and I am PRAYING one of those will do me. Knowing my luck today will be the day I start to leak!

Oh my god, Lucy. She sounds a pain! x

I honestly can't be bothered anymore,.

So sad about caseysmummy. It actually bought tears to my eyes. :(

Hope you manage to find something that fits xx

It's horrible news, isn't it. I always showed OH her bump pics because she was so massive and only a few weeks ahead. I don't even know what to say, such a shock x

I know I used to do the same the fact she was only a couple of weeks ahead of us is scary. So so sad xxx

Oh is horrible news about Casey, made me have a tear in work too. Having to disguise why I am sniffing at my desk. Crazy how that can happen. She had been more and more uncomfortable recently. Wee twins, what a shame :( xx

It really makes it hit home that there are risks, I always try to block them out of my head but sometimes you just can't :(.

I don't think my boobs have grown but my rib cage is definitely making them more uncomfortable. I tried ordering 34's instead of 32's Bethy and the cup sizes aren't quite right but they'll do! So, do we get measured for nursing bras a few weeks before birth? And then we need re-measured when milk comes in?

Also, random question, does anyone feel like they have groin strain? I don't know if that's just something that happens or if it's my fault - I struggle to get my wellie boots off after doing the horses and feel it in my groin when I try but now the pain lasts all day rather than whilst I'm taking them off x

I'm not sure what happens when milk comes in. But yeh, she just said between 36 and 38 weeks. I'm not even sure what a nursing bra is? Is it just one where the cups come down to feed?

I know what you mean about groin strain, it's like the front of my pelvis, although it's not too bad at the mo. My hips Etc were really sore about a month ago, all the time but it's mostly gone now. Only comes back when I've had a decent walk. I've given up on wellies, almost impossible for me to take off now lol! X

Belfa that maybe sounds like really mild pelvis pain - can show up as groin, thigh, bum pain. Just be sure to take it easy! Maybe your body telling you to slow down a wee bit.

I have one bra that i wear right now...and a soft sports bra for when i am just lounging at home. Yeah a friend of mine has had a bra lady out to her house to measure - she is 38 weeks. No idea what happens after birth!! But i think you are best to wait as long as possible, as I presume you can go up a full cup size after birth?? Expensive time!

Yeah def about Casey. You begin to think you are on the home straight, and begin to ignore the fear. But just goes to show that it is always scary and there will always be risks :(

Everyone is different when it comes to bra size changes in and after pregnancy. I don't think mine really changed much at all at any point. Personally I find fittings a waste of time, I just try on a few sizes and see what is comfortable. Gok offers some good bra fitting advice, he was doing it on this morning the other day, I can't find that but most of it is covered in here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGZklvGwLJU

Groin pain is pretty much what I have with my pelvic pain, it's all in the groin area and really painful :(

Ooh 31 weeks today, finally in single digits for the weeks countdown!

I'm looking forward to that!

I will try my hardest to remember to mention the groin pain to my midwife this week. I was looking at my notes yesterday and all the comments from her and the consultants are "keeping well, no complaints" etc. - well, actually, I walk like John Wayne some days because my groin feels like it's been stretched by the fattest horse ever and my stretch marks are so itchy it looks like I've got creepy crawlies in my pants the way I'm scratching!

Seriously though, I have one stretch mark that's really deep running from my belly button to my pant line and it's so itchy today it must look really dodgy to my colleagues! x

Yes I was like that, for some reason never mentioned it to the midwife while it was there. The only time I brought it up was when it had gone, and I wanted to check that it was okay. She told me to make the most of it, so I am lol. It's funny, even at like 28 weeks I was still paranoid about disappearing symptoms! xx

Well been to the hospital today and I am now down as having Gestational Diabetes. Am borderline tho as only 0.2 above the recommended amount. So from tonight I am finger pricking 4 times a day.

Means I wont be allowed to go more than a few days over due date though which is a plus. Just got to start encouraging baby out from 37 weeks so I can try and avoid induction. X

I have been lucky with pelvis/groin pain although getting the odd 'fanny dagger' now. I'm suffering more with my back, just need it pressed around my shoulder blades all the time and can't get comfy. I find leaning on my birthing ball helps.

Oh no babyscotcher..but good you are only borderline. Defo wanna do all you can to get bubba out on time. x

Sorry you have to do this... But not many weeks til you won't have to worry about it again!! My results came back as normal but need to try and cut down on my sugar levels still.

Thanks guys. Not too worried as thankfully needles and stuff dont bother me. Only 10 weeks to go so not too long.

Glad yours xame back ok Karen. X

Sorry to hear that you have to keep an eye on it babyscotcher! I had no idea you had to check as often as that!

When did they first pick up on it? Is it a urine sample that makes them send you for a GTT?
