*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Yeah the bumpers thing is annoying, I don't understand why the shops sell them and then you see that on the NHS site.

I know the exact set you mean Colettypie! I liked the Ashby in light walnut which was round the corner from yours lol. The M&P set we liked was the Mia in white but we've ended up with the M&P Ocean in a oak colour. Think we got it for £750 when it's rrp is £1700. Have a look at Michael Miller fabrics, he had an amazon page but he designs so many nursery prints!

How was your antenatal class the other day? Do people take notes so they remember?!

Heybabya glad you got something sorted! Good price too!

Charlie it's so annoying when you are in track and them suddenly feel like you're way behind again. At least you've got people to help x

Oh no way, the ocean set was my second fave. I loved that too. Very classy! And what a deal you got on that! Yeah is rrp 1700 right now but was over 2000 not so long ago when it didn't have a promotion on it!

Will check out the fabric recommendation - Thanks for the tip :-)!

When is your antenatal class again? At some weekend soon I'm sure? It was actually quite good. We went along feeling a bit hesitant but the midwife was sooo lovely and helped break the ice. The other couples there all lovely too. Week one more just general info, when to phone hospital and recognise a real issue from normal. Next weekend is labour eeeek :-o! So hubby will be in for a treat lol!

Well I've finally sat down after leaving for work 8am this morning. I got in at 5pm, and I've built the draws for babies room! I love them! I am now in agony and cannot get comfy on the couch!
I would let OH build them but when I got in he had attempted a bed side table and messed that up! Useless!! Ha!

He's cooking my tea now though so suppose that makes up for it a bit :) xx hope your all enjoying Easter weekend xx

Thanks everyone :) Still can't believe it. No luck on the ring front today at all, I feel like this is going to be a mammoth task! Meeting my mum in Cardiff on Monday so might have more luck there.

Started having funny twinges low down earlier, not sure what they were. I was bursting for a see but once I went they stopped.

Had my last NCT class today. I am 110% ready for June now  xx

There are some bumpers made with holes in them like some mattresses do I think to make sure they are not a suffocation risk. I am still not planning to get them but do think they look lovely.

Good luck on the ring hunt Bethy. I was lucky that my OH bought the perfect ring. X

It's tomorrow morning! Still expecting to turn up and there will be no one there because its Easter.

Bethyboo I'm having weird cramps, went to the cinema tonight and was so uncomfortable x

Haha good luck - hope there are other folk there! Yeah is def an usual day for it, hopefully a midwife turns up :-)!

Might be braxton hicks... I've found them a lot more noticeable past few weeks. Like really mild period cramps, don't last very long. But if you're worried then ask the midwife you are seeing today!

Exciting reaching 30 weeks isnt it Charlie :)

This weekend is TORTURE! Don't get gestational diabetes results until tomorrow but it's easter weekend!! I want to eat chocolate all day long!! May have a wee bit later but don't want to have too much just in case :(

I agree Karen. It is all I am craving because I know I shouldn't. Going to ring the hospital Tuesday morning to see if I can get my actual results. If they are only slightly raised then will try and postpone my apt by a couple of days. Know that work have to let me go but they wont be happy about it the day after a bank holiday as we will be busy. I know it is important to sort it if there is a problem but I can't imagine there is too much of an issue as baby's belly has never measured big and neither has baby over all. Plus I have eaten generally well since being pregnant and have put on barely any weight.

Played a game with baby last night. He/she will now poke us back if we poke or tickle in the right place. Is very cute.

Happy Easter Girls. Hope you have a good day. X

Happy Easter ladies I've started baby washing today, so cute to see it all on the washing line! 9 weeks to go eeeekkk!

Hi Ladies, Back from our little Easter break. That's us done with going away until bubba now. Going to do my hospital bag in the week, well at least start putting bits in there ready. They had a fab John Lewis in Norwich, the closest to us is London as the home stores aren't that great for baby bits unless you want furniture or a pushchair. Bought a pram blanket, a few jungle nursery accessories and just had a really nice browse. Then raided a few other shops, had a voucher for baby gap at Xmas and they randomly had a sale rail, got some bits in 3-6 months and some more sleepsuits for next to nothing. Nice to be home, we got stuff for a roast in m&s simply food as all the supermarkets are shut and really wanted a roast today.

Hope you are all having a nice Easter. Xx

Yeah I'm hating waiting for results!! Just looked at the sugar content on the pasta sauce im planning on having for dinner and it's pretty bad!! The next few weeks are going to be pretty tough if I'm diagnosed with GD... Even if I'm not I need to get sugar levels down. Depressing as I feel absolutely fine!

Well I'm home after a long working weekend!!

I've just decided to sign up to Jeunesse to start selling that Instantly Ageless. Thought it might give me a few extra pennies while on maternity :) was only £23 to start the business. Even if it puts some money in my pocket to get out and do family things each weekend :) ive done other online selling and done pretty good so looking forward to it! Also looking forward to using the stuff myself after sleepless nights haha xx

I feel fine too. The only symptom I suppose I have had is being thirsty but thats got less so rather than more so as my pregnancy has gone on. I am rubbish at wanting everything I cannot have. X

I'm not the only one who's going to miss my pregnancy pillow!

We enjoyed our midwife class today - it was packed! It was nice to do so etching together. Midwife was nice but she told us some really scary stories! x

They do Belfa, I think they're obliged to give you different possible situations that could arise. I expect the majority of people don't experience any significant issues.

DD loves my pregnancy pillow too! She even curled up and nodded off in it the other day!

We have a silly amount of chocolate, all the family bought DD so much, she's not even 2 though and I don't really think she should eat 12 Easter Eggs plus all the little extra bits. Therefore I have been eating some of it too (good of me I know) but I'm starting to get sick of it now and we've still got an entire shelf rammed full of chocolate in the fridge!

Haha. Love the pic Belfa. Glad your midwife class went well.

Hope your GD results come through soon ladies.

Urgh I hate having a rant but seriously need to let it all out somewhere.. I give up on the MIl. Feeling so hormonal today anyway and It's really affecting me and hubby, I've been in tears all afternoon. She looked after our cat when we were away and couldn't even do that properly. Didn't bother finding her in the 1 room upstairs she had access to just give her some fuss and there was a trail of cat litter all over our front garden in piles and it stinks of s**t and piss as they dumped the waste on our lawn... We left them instructions and waste bags so Seriously wtf. I've been outside bleaching the path as it stinks everywhere and it's now attracted foxes as it's a route across the gardens for them. Everything she says and does just bugs me.

On a happier note our little 5 year old nephew felt bubba kicking and when we said that was the baby he was like 'I know' lol cute.
