*** June 2015 Mummies ***

That's rubbish babyscotcher :-(! This is making me think I should cut back on sugar too. Got my 32 week appointment on fri and I don't want any protein in my pee!!

Haha Lucy! I've not had too many of those daggers quite yet. Tho have felt baby's arms getting stronger and movement down in my pubic area is becoming more noticeable.

Eurghhh my bladder control is a nightmare today. Feeling quite wet very often! Not nice at all. The baby was resting on my bladder most of today so has been so uncomfortable. Doesn't matter how often I go - just constantly need to pee!! Arghhhhh and I know will only get worse!

Also my baby is mega mega active since last night. Woke me up at 5am and been dancing ever since. Is too much movement something we need to keep an eye on? My baby is fairly active but always sleeps well overnight. But today has been different to routine. But thought was maybe just lack of activity that we need to worry about?? xx

For those that asked or are worried about their sugar intake I wouldnt worry too much. One of those things I think you get or you don't.

I got referred for the GTT based on my BMI as it was high before I fell pregnant which is a risk factor. Not had any other indicators. Did my first test an hour after eating and was nice and low so hopefully should not be too much of a worry. X

For a week and half now, baby has been kicking soooo hard in my side, I see it poke out loads and feels horrible! Makes me go arghhhh out loud... Back at work next week and worried it'll happen when teaching and I'll freak the kids out haha x

Hahaha yes I yelp out loud sometimes too. My hubby has got used to it. Guys at work worry I'm going into early labour lol!

There's a thread called 'a sad day for May mummies' which will explain more, but basically her twins have been born, but only one has made it. Dreadful situation for them.

I've just seen it, so awful. Poor thing. Really makes you realise life is precious

I've been a bit awol how is everyone doing?

I had a crap weekend sorry going to be a moan, got home from work Saturday morning we did a quick food shop and off to bed about 8am, couldn't get comfy and at 9am ended up getting up feeling a bit sick and well I sempt to open the flood gates I was being sick every 20 or 30 minutes for almost 24 hours and had the worst stomach cramps I've ever had. I've never felt so ill before and the Mr was a brilliant nurse bless him but clearly scared something was up with me and baby and begged me to ring the midwife on call for adivce. She asked about systems and if baby was moving like normal which she was no change in her movement at all so said to forget about food, sip water as much as I can to avoid dehydration and if babies movements change or I'm still being sick at this rate in 24 hours to go straight to hospital :( but come Sunday I felt better and stopped being sick as often and managed to keep food down so avoided going. But my stomach still feels so tender now having throw up so much and the joys of being 29 weeks ended up peeing myself whilst throwing up (sorry tmi) so all in all been a shit few days lol
But 30 weeks on Friday and seems like the home straight then haha!

Sounds horrid. Hope you get some rest this week to recover x

Sorry you've been ill Papella. I've had a dodgy tummy a few times but nothing serious, must just be too much chocolate!

Think I had my first ever fanny daggers over the weekend, think I worried oh a bit with my jumping and flinching and "ohmygod"ing haha! Not pleasant!

Really feeling like baby hasn't got much room now. The kicks are much less, but I have more of baby moving and rolling across my tummy. Feels quite cramped in there now, poor thing! X

Oh Papella that sounds horrible! I remember we has gastroenteritis going round the office a few years ago and someone who was pregnant caught it and I never knew how she coped.

Will be making the midwife check baby's position tomorrow as I'm sure his head is wedged under my ribs as it really hurts up in my ribs to bend over etc. At our class on Sunday the midwife said that between 28-30weeks is the best time to work on moving baby but then went on to tell stories of how the can change positions at the last minute etc - anyone else heard that? x

Belfa I've had rib pains for the past couple of weeks. Felt a large bulge out to my right side as well so I was convinced baby had turned and the large mass was his butt and the pain I was feeling in the ribs was his limbs pushing against them. Was at midwife yesterday and she confirmed he's turned, limbs are up the top and head is down. So you may be the same!

But yeah she said to me "He's head down...FOR NOW. He could still move back but we will keep an eye."

So yeah they can deffo move back just now unfortunately lol

Oh that's good to know it was limbs and not a head!! I wish they had little scanning machines just to have a quick check at your appointments like the dopplers - would be much easier! x

Hope you feel more yourself soon papella..

Lol at the fanny daggers... Me too bethyboo... Must be now bubba a good size..not comfy though is it.

Belfa my friends baby was breech and turned itself around 36 weeks, she said it was weird though as her tummy looked and felt strange while baby turning.

Just back from a busy day at work and got annoyed with a guy in the lift, crammed himself in with his family and he let go of his wheelie bag and the handle landed on my bump... He was like oops...I just glared at him and was like yeh I'm ok. Idiot!!

Got my breast feeding workshop tomo, will be interesting as heard you get a doll and a tea cosy lol..

I feel your pain with the fanny daggers! My LO is head down and honestly feels so heavy sometimes I think she's going to fall out lol

I think some babies can turn right at the last minute, there isn't a definite cut off for it x

Thanks girls I do feel better now got my appetite back just feel a little delicate now haha

Enjoy the breast feeding Lucy, I found mine sooo helpful, I felt like it's a really alien thing but now I'm much more confident about it. We had a woollen booby to work on our hand expressing technique haha, good times!

Urgh I have an exam this morning, just can't get motivated to revise. It's on vat and very boring which is probably why. At least I get a half day at work :) xx
