*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Yeah I'm getting a lot of comments from work mates and family saying I seem to have just popped out all of a sudden! Also went for ice cream yesterday and the woman asked when I was due (brave woman, I thought that was supposed to be a big no no hahaha) and when I said June she practically screamed haha. My mum was huge with me so I think it's genetics lol

I'm the same!! Up until 2 weeks ago people were asking me if baby was growing fine and that I didn't look pregnant. Now there is no mistaking it - Looks like I've been smuggling a melon.

How is everyone doing for maternity wear? Where would you recommend getting some from. Don't want to spend a huge amount but also don't want to just wear oversized things either.

xx

Lol smuggling a melon, love it.

I got a few things from mothercare - they have a sale on right now. I prefer quite fitted dresses showing my bump than floaty ones that disguise. I feel those make me look bigger and a bit unflattering. Also I really like the asos own branded dresses - they are really well fitted and nice and trendy :-)!

Wasn't too impressed with mothercare stuff, even with the sale on it didn't seem worth the money. Have tried sticking with my stretchy none pregnancy clothes up until now but I want to invest in some good mat wear.

Will have a look through asos, I like their stuff most of the time.

Been Tri hoping and looking in on you guys as will be over here next week. I would recommend the tops and dresses from Purpless clothing on amazon. I have ordered 2 dresses and they fit really well and are very cheap. Not the thickest or most luxurious fabric but great for the price and will only be worn for a few months. X

Never heard of this - will check it out :-)! And can't wait to have you all over here - feels weird being split over 2 threads!

Ooooh just had a quick peek and they look great. Will check out the reviews and order a couple of things. Do we just order our normal size?

I got a lot from New Look and Asda. Especially buying on line, I got some really bargains!

I got a load of stuff from new look and h and m. I'm officially here from tomo yay though my app says now so prob sneaking over early as need to keep on top of the posts,

I'm sure my bump has had a growth spurt and bubba must have been having a good old stretch last night as could feel movement on left and right side at same time, was kinda strange but nice.

Just bought a dress and top from them. Will be eagerly awaiting the arrival :) If they are good then will order some more tops.

Will look at newlook, H&M and asos for trousers/jeans.

xx

New Look jeans are the best I've found for maternity. They come right up over the bump. Mine were £23 and I've been wearing them for a couple of months and still look like new. I've tried next and Amazon but didnt rate their jeans

I ordered my normal size and they fit well. Are all quite stretchy fabric anyway so plenty of growth room over the next few months but fit well over the bits that aren't going to change. I need a new pair of bottoms rather than just wearing leggings or a stretchy skirt all the time so will have a look at these recommendations too. X

I got out of new look, basic tops and jeans. Must check those other sites out. I find maternity clothes really boring, cant understand why they cant make nice maternity tops...cant be too difficult.

I had a horrendous nights sleep last night, was killed with heartburn and acid reflux :(. Had to sleep sitting up in the end. x

I agree heres hoping - Maternity wear is very dull and assumes we just want to cover our bodies up.

Hoping you get a better nights sleep tonight. Have you got much to do today or are you able to relax alittle?

x

Just back from a soft play area with little one so gonna take a nap while she sleeps. I was sleeping so well too up to now, hope this isnt the start of tri 3 sleep probs! Off to catch some zzzzz's :) x

I'm also guilty of taking a nap today - Its my day off but really trying to revise for a work based exam next week. Decided to have a quick hour on the sofa and it was lush. Have woken up all cold now though :)

Hope you enjoy your nap as much as I did!
