*** June 2015 Mummies ***

I have no idea how you ladies with 18 month/2 year olds have coped with being pregnant again. I have found it so hard and only have to take care of myself!!! I am scared to think of having another.

Woohoo the fully cooked baby club is looking good. We will all be there before long :-)!

Kelly glad to hear you were discharged. Does give you a wee fright. But a good few of us on this thread have had the same thing and had same advice. We did have one June mum have her baby in April cos of pre-eclampsia and she seems to be doing well! Keeping us on our toes.

Had breastfeeding workshop this morning. Was quite informative. They really do go on and on about breast being best. Makes me feel even more worried in case I can't breastfeed!

They do Colletteypie! Don't stress about it though, if you can't do it, you can't do it. At least you would have tried. There are thousands of perfectly healthy formula fed babies out there!

Just reading about a slow leak of waters in another thread, got me worrying about mine again now. I've noticed a lot of wetness and have wondered if it was that but tried to tell myself it's just watery discharge or sweat. Not sure what to do now...

Oh I am constantly feeling wet but am really confident it is my poor battered bladder giving way rather than waters leaking. Do that thing they recommend - lying down for half an hour cos if is your waters then they will pool and then come out more 'gushy' when you stand up.

I'd love to lie down for half an hour but that won't be until DD goes to bed lol

I called them, asked my OH and he said to call up. I explained, I said it was only tiny amounts and I didn't think they'd find anything but they want me to go in and get checked over. Might give me piece of mind at least.

How long have u noticed that Buggy? I think my discharge has increased but its def not watery yet. Do u feel as if its leaking? Are you seeing a mw soon? Maybe ring up and see what they say. Even to put your mind at rest.

I wouldn't let it put u off Coletteypie, i would of thought the same before but to be honest u just manage even when your having an achey day, its completely worth it. As much as i worry about how im going to manage with two, im also really looking forward to seeing my girl with her new sibling.

How many ladies are team yellow?? Does anyone have any feeling what their having? Thought it might be a nice idea if we could put our predictions on the front page too, see how many is right?? Thats if belfa doesnt mind updating it x

Oh missed your last post. Are u going to get checked then Buggy? Good luck, let us know what they say x

Yes, I am going in. I wasn't going to ring as I think it could be normal discharge but have been told it's more likely my waters can go early because bleeding in pregnancy can weaken the membranes and I've had a few big bleeds. I wasn't overly worried about it but it has been at the back of my mind. Like you say, at least it will put my mind at rest. Just a pain going over to the hospital, and expense!

We're kind of team yellow from being told we're having a boy, then my consultant was 'sure' it was a girl then someone else said boy again. We're thinking probably boy but we're not sure!

Here's hoping we are team yellow but convinced pink... Will see.

Had to pop up docs to pick up a prescription so got my BP checked again. It's gone up a bit but not as high as before. Got midwife tomorrow so shiva check everything out, feeling ok otherwise.

I am still feeling off today so think I'll go up to my parents when they get home and use my dads home monitor to see if it's my BP.

I'm working from home today and heard someone knocking on the door a few times when I was on the phone to a client. I'm sure it was one of those freaks from next door so that's probably why I still don't feel 100%.

Buggy I hope it's not your waters and just a bit of pee...that sounds awful to wish that upon someone but you know what I mean!!

I also have no idea how you ladies cope with toddlers and being pregnant. Really gives me the fear!

Happy to update the front page with your predictions. I'll do Buggy and Lucy's just now :) x

p.s. Buggy, could you get the tapatalk app for your phone or tablet (if you have either) so you can still come one here? x

I am team yellow too Belfa but thinking Pink at the minute if you could update mine for me. Can't say I wont change my mind though.

Odd really though as have thought Blue all the way along until a couple of weeks ago. To be honest I am now only thinking pink because I have had scans at 28, 32 & 34 weeks and not seen anything in that region when they have been measuring so am thinking maybe there is nothing to see.

Sounds like all these babies are starting to give us all the last niggles and worries before they arrive. They all ened to stay in a couple of weeks mroe if possible although not too much longer for our early June mummies.

Thanks Belfa.

Yeah make sure you get your BP checked out, if it's slightly off defo call the MW.

I've got bit of a headache lingering today, but not stressing too much as my appointment is tomorrow although bubba being naughty and quiet again. They seem to go crazy late at night now.

Well no chance of a nap this afternoon, got a guy here installing our loft ladder and hatch, hubby decided to squeeze it in before our new carpet goes down next week.

Hope all goes well at the Hospital Buggy - Keep us updated if you can. Is someone going to have LO for you whilst you go or is she with you?

Belfa - Lols at your freak next door comment. We're team yellow but I strongly predict Blue (even my wonderful dream the other night was a boy!).

Also noticing an increase in *ahem* discharge here  not watery though but nice to know its normal.

xx

Yeah buggy, hope hosp goes well and it's nothing to worry about. Best get checked over.

Thanks Belfa, thought id give u a little job lol. We are team yellow but im predicting its a boy. Worried my mothering instinct is completely wrong though. We bought some blue and pink baby gros to have on standby, plan to get them washed and brought up to hosp once we know what we have, will be keeping the receipt for which ever colour we dont need.

Belfa hope your just having an off day and its not your bp playing up. But its no wonder with neighbours like that. They wouldnt need to be dropping around annoying you once babys home, I'd go mad!

Ive noticed my discharge has increased too Pismo, feels delightful...yuck!

Yeah thanks Here's Hoping lol! I have updated the front page with your predictions so far :).

I kind of hope my neighours do try to come round once baby is here, then I'd go full scale protective Mum and hopefully never see them again  x

Ta Belfa - Will be funny to see who was right and who was wrong. Have geared myself up for another little boy, will eat my words if its a girl now...

DS is off to a cubs camp this weekend - very first time away on his own (they are only at a camp 30mins away but still). Were just about to go and pack his camping 'gear'. He's very excited, me not so much.

xx

Had my home assessment this afternoon, midwife went through everything and had a good feel and check of bubba, she's firmly head down and in a great position and her growth is spot on too :) so happy days!

Oh and 35 weeks tomorrow!

Good luck at the hospital buggy! Xx

Well I've noticed today that when I go the toilet for a wee when I wipe and then if I use my pelvic floor muscles I feel bruised :-/ he has dropped even further so not sure if it's that but feels like there's something there! Tried to google but not quite sure what I'm googling hahah xx

Oooh this is a fun game - I am team yellow but thinking blue flavoured! Tho apparently a lot of woman think they are having a boy cos growing a baby feels foreign and you unconsciously assume a boy! Who knows!! Tho I have swung a bit more pink recently, but going to stick with blue!

Hope you get on okay Buggy! Let us know how you are doing.

This sounds terrible but I am kinda glad to read a few of you not feeling great. It reassures me. I checked my BP past few days and seems a bit high but don't see point in calling maternity assessment - they will just monitor me and discharge me to keep an eye on it like last time. Find my feet and hand swelling is up and down, few headaches. But going by the popularity of these symptoms on this thread makes me feel better.

Not finding my cm that different yet. Really hope baby nudges my plug out soon! Also not had any milk leakage - not sure how normal that is. Just expected to have it by now!

Morning ladies. All okay here, sorry for the delay.

The new hospital is old and doesn't look all that nice in places but the midwives there were the friendliest I've ever met, and I've met a few!

They but me on the monitor, had two big tightenings, was only on for about 40 mins, baby is really active so they were happy with that. Used a special test to check if the fluid was my waters, they said it was negative. Cervix is still closed so again they weren't concerned. They did say I was at increased risk of this happening because of the bleeding though so have to go back if I have any further symptoms.

Got a midwife checkup this morning too anyway, hoping for baby's head to be engaged but we'll see!
