****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Ladies I need opinions because I'm livid. I'll read through the posts in a sec. but I'd like your opinions before PB comes on with her gender scan details

So Dd was supposed to be picked up today by the inlaws. Mil never turned up because she was at her mums ...again. So my FIL came by himself and said they were going there too. I gave him money said ok pass through McDonald's drive through and grab her a happy meal on the way to her great grans. for now cause she was saying she was hungry. I said go through drive through since he was in his own but instead he took her in and ended up leaving her by herself when he went to the toilet.

She's four. And I'm fuming that she was on her own even for a minute. She's never on her own and she's the one told me about it because she said she didn't like being left by herself in the restaurant. Anything could have happened. Am I being over dramatic that he just left her sitting in a busy restaurant? ?

I dont even have a child yet and Id be livid if someone did that with my niece or anything. 4 is way too young to be left sitting at a table alone! He should have listened to what you asked him to do! xx

2 blue bundles so far!! Need to add some pink to that now x

Just thought the same KHTW. Need some pink (hopefully me haha) x

KHTW, Jem, GG guessing girls for you. Boys for me, Laura, Shep. I'm probably full of shit lol. God I can't wait xx

Haha I am 99% sure I will be adding pink bundle on saturday xx

But if you are right I will ask you for lottery numbers lol x

Oh ON, that's amazing! Did you get a good look at him?

Shep, that sounds bloody awful. I think you should maybe get your bloods done and see what's going on. It's not normal to be I'll this much but great that baby is kicking and reassuring you.

Shan, Jamie Bulgers mum was stood right ext to him at a till in a shop. She let go of his hand to get money from her purse to pay. Handed the money over and when she looked down, Jamie was gone. That was seconds.

This is precisely the reason my in laws will never be trusted with our baby. They left Dan a a petrol station once and it was 40 minutes before they realised he wasn't in the car. 40 minutes back and thank god he was still there. They put him out for fresh air in the rain while they are sandwiches. Just drove off. That was a mistake but a fucking stupid one. What your fil did was wilfully leave a 4yo child in the presence of strangers.

I know you don't want to think of the "what ifs" but we should...actually, we must. It's what keeps us concentrated on never dropping the ball. I would forgive and do that openly, but not before laying it on the line that it was neglectful at best and he won't be trusted again. I couldn't forget. I would move on bit like I said, not before dishing out a good bollocking and I'd never forget.

I hope your hubby is equally scornful.

This. This right here is exactly why I will always be the annoying mum who makes dd hold my hand constantly. Not run ahead etc. Not let her walk to primary school alone when I could easily take her, or let run go running off to someone's house. I don't care. I just can't ever help thinking of what ifs. When she told me I actually had that heart stopping moment, you know, like when you stop yourself from falling down the stairs etc. He never gets her again. I went so mad. And that's nothing compared to what I'll be like tomorrow face to face. I'll probably dream about it tonight.

Ivy said to me tonight before bed "See next time I go to McDonald's can it be with you, and not granny or grandad so you'll stay with me" I mean... ugh! She's actually thinking about being left alone places and how she can avoid it. He doesn't realise it but despite how mind numbingly stupid it was, for her she's never ever been alone like that. Xx

She's fucking four years old...why would or should she know what it's like to be left alone. Utterly mad. Bloody well tell them that she said that at bedtime. Tell fil that he needs to go and apologise to her for making her feel alone. It's obviously affected her and he needs to face that. He's given an innocent 4yr old an anxiety. No child should have anxiety at fucking 4 yrs old. I'm livid for you xx

Sorry, was busy last night just popped on to tell you guys gender.
Well you could definitely tell it was a boy, I saw boy bits before they even said lool. I was really hoping for another girl, feel bad for being abit let down but I'm getting used to the idea, gonna go shopping today for boy clothes, might make it more real lol.
Here's a scan pic not very good, baby really likes to be upside down haha.

Shan, I'm actually angry at your FIL. I would never let him have her again. There's fking predators everywhere these days, I don't even let strangers touch my daughter for that fact. Why people don't think about these things I'll never know.
If I found out that had happened I'd also go absolutely mental to your not over reacting at all. X

Aw hun I think a boy and a girl is fab, especially with how similar in age they are. They'll be so close! I know what you mean I'm leaning one way which makes me feel so guilty. There's always cute boys clothes everywhere though. And clothes are cheaper too in my opinion. And boys toys too lol. Get buying!!

Baby likes being awkward haha I know the feeling

Thanks I.e ivy being left alone. I dreamt about it last night which I knew I would. Makes me feel sick that someone could have picked her out of there without me even knowing. Don't know if anyone saw what happened in India yesterday to that poor little baby by her cousin, but shows you just can't trust anyone xx
