****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

That is rubbish Jem. I am in the same-ish boat... only get SMP and not a dime more. We will be very poor for the 9 months. Re. having to go back... I will still check on that one x

I bought a k'tan wrap with DD and for the life of me couldn't figure out how to put DD in it!!! By the time I got it right she was usually bored and annoyed so I had to take her out :D I must try harder this time lol

I also use 4head- the roll on thing. helps me

Yeah, I know it is what most women get. But obviously when being under the impression I'd be getting full pay and now just getting SMP it's definitely stumped us.

We will make it work - it just has to!

I don't know about going back or not yet, I will wait and see but at the moment, I honestly don't want to be here. I haven't slept for 4 nights - I think most of it is down to stress. I think I have the worst luck lol. Everyone (not my manager obviously) at work is saying "didn't think you'd be in today" and basically telling me to get signed off. They're all so worried about me!

But on the plus side, my colleague brought me in 10 flumps!!!! so happy :D

Oh dear what a morning! Dd was not going into nursery at all!! Had to read a book and take her about. Then her teacher came and got her to play with someone else upset. So unlike her. My heart was breaking when she was trying not to cry.

Oh no! What happened? Was that like first time she didn't want to go? x

When my friend gave birth to her 2nd and brought baby home, her then 2.5 year old would refuse to go to nursery, crying every morning. She would say she want to stay with mummy and that the baby should go. Heartbreaking. This is something I worry about a lot :( x

Jem, at least yuu got your flumps lol :D

Awhh I'm not looking forward to dd going for the first time. I have a few years yet but sounds heartbreaking lol.

Jem, you'll manage. See what you can claim to. X

I have no idea where it came from. She cries when she's sick and can't go to nursery. She was talking about the baby on the way up. She likes to ask what we need for the baby, then names all the thing she can think of. But she went in today and pretty much cling to me. I even suggested thing that I would stay and do i.e. Reading, playing with toys, painting.

She was looking around while I was talking to her and I could tell she was going to cry. I was there with her about 20 minutes before her rescuer noticed and asked her did she want to come play with the other upset little girl and she went. My hormones couldn't take it :/ I'm not sure if it was to do with the baby or what tbh I'm stumped

PB you'll probably be fine. The first day I took dd I was so nervous but she was just like bye mummy and away she went. Today was not like normal. Most of them are fine tbh. It's usually harder on us lol

I don't know of any shows near me, I'd probably go just to browse. Maybe read some reviews first? Or go to both? :D

Maybe it is a little to do with the baby. She understands what is going on and probably is going to get a bit upset about it. Bless her, it will get easier xx

I would if there was one. I think there's one in Glasgow but I can't remember when xx

Oh I really don't know Jem, And I hate not knowing what the issue is. I'm really hoping it was a one off and that she'll tell me why she was so upset when she gets home

Sorry about your maternity pay but at least you get smp. Do you qualify for any child or working tax? We don't but if you do it may help xx
