I don't think so? It's all SO confusing as it goes from the last tax year and obviously that isn't reflective of the current situation. The whole thing really confuses me and I have no idea lol. Doing calculators online, as if I was on maternity pay now and everything comes up as a big fat 0. x

Sometimes it's better to phone them. I think I'll qualify for maternity allowance, not smp obviously since I quit. But I haven't checked it all out yet But yeah it's rubbish xx

Feeling better this afternoon. Dd came home fine. She said she was just upset cause she didn't know what to do. I'm not convinced that's what it was. But her teacher said she was fine pretty much straight away. And when her little friends came in she was normal. So must have just been a little blip

Anyone have a bump yet?

Honestly I just look like a whale. But OH did say yesterday "aw look at that bump, it's making your boobs look tiny" .... okay thanks haha

I'm getting a bit of bump I think. I definitely need to get maternity jeans now. With dd I didn't show for a long time. Put on weight since then though lol xx

i have a definite bump. I don't usually have a totally flat tummy but I'm a size 10 so not huge. it's very distinctive. it's funny if you look straight on I still look curvy (little waist and a curve to my bigger hips) but once I turn to the side its very obvious. I've been trying to upload a picture but my phone is useless

I'm glad DD is okay, maybe just an emotional morning. there's lots changing and I guess she'll have stuff on her mind even if she doesn't totally understand it

Shep that's a bump alright. We definitely show earlier with 2nd pregnancies in my opinion. You have a lovely little bump! I'll post one later if I remember mine is more fat lol

I was taking pics every week to see progression, but tbh I feel so gross and massive at the moment that I've stopped looking at myself lol.

Just had a risk assessment with my manager for work and one of the questions was about mental stresses and she said "well you haven't got those so we don't need to worry about that" .. I said actually, I'm extremely stressed with workload and everything, I don't feel like I'm coping .. "oh you'll be fine when the new person starts in February". I feel on the verge of tears all the time, I'm not sleeping, I have a constant headache. I know I should really see the doctor and get signed off, but I feel like it will just make things worse cos I'll have to come back in to all the work not being done AGAIN! I'm so stuck and really don't know what to do

Even if you feel that way still take them, you'll want them once baby comes. I don't have enough of me pregnant with dd.

I meant to ask you if you'd had your risk assessment. I'm sure there should be something about mental stress affecting blood pressure, which can affect baby. And they should have considered this and found an appropriate action. Especially if you told them your job is stressful with the workload etc. I would have thought for the time being they'd have looked at the situation with work if you were to take time off now. If you aren't happy with the risk assessment then let them know.

February at least isn't far away, and if you still feel like this, it may be worth asking for a sick line for as long as they can give you it. I'd also speak to the midwife at your 16 week appointment about the stress, they may be more help than the doctor xx

Do you have a sling library near you? A place where people go to lend/try/sell baby slings wraps and carriers? You could probably search it on Facebook for your area. I really dont know what I want either. I've narrowed it down but that's about it lol xx

I was huge by the end but it was all bump, you couldn't tell from behind. I feel like this time the weight will spread more. I've never been able to diet though so hoping not to gain too Mich excess. I did measure myblegs the other day and they're still 20in (oh and I were just messing around) which made me happy

Just went back to read my posts at this time with DD and found one before gender scan where I was saying that both OH and I are convinced it's a boy and will be totally shocked if it is a girl... well we were shocked. This time we both think this one is a girl, soon we will know if perhaps we are totally hopeless at guessing
