****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Thanks everyone.. It feels better already to have ranted it out here altho I'm always concious of coming across super negative. I swear I actually wanted this pregnancy haha

I've been super stressed out due to all of this and then family drama cuz my family are nuts, the fact we are squashed with no space into one bedroom and my husband worries me a lot. He's really stressed out at the moment and he keeps not telling me things so as not to stress me but I know somethings up and it stresses me more cuz my imagination goes wild. He was getting racist grief in work for over a week before he told me about it and trying to deal with it alone (been resolved now and the guy is gone) :( I woke today at 4.30am this morning to pee and he was awake just lying in bed :( he's always exhausted. I think he's feeling like he's not providing for us cuz we are in a financial mess and we don't have our own place. He keeps talking about getting a second job in the evening but we would see so little of each other :( I just don't know what to do cuz he's such a sweetheart and I hate seeing him beating himself up :( he'd told me before he'd ruined my life cuz if I'd just found a UK guy I wouldn't have had to go through all the immigration disaster high court shit for 2 years and we wouldn't be in debt up to our eyeballs... I'd rather have him tho :) he's the best xx

Oh Laura. Bless you. Just keep telling him that. Remind him every day if he needs you to. Men can go through some really hard emotions when a baby is on the way as well. You will get through it all. Xxxx

Got my combined test results back.
1 in 2,868 for Down's and 1 in 50,000 for Edward's/Patau's. It says, "We are pleased to inform you that the combined test undertaken on 4th January shows you are at low risk for Down's, Edward's and Patau's.

Being 39, I won't lie, I was quite worried not that it would have changed anything. Huge relief to see that in black and white though.

That's fantastic results being 39 (no offence?) GG I'm so pleased for you that everything came back low

I had mine sent out for the downs yesterday, just saying low risk I think. Wasn't really expecting anything else but always nice to know. Only had the downs result back though xx?

Odd not to have all three but they'd have called or sent a high risk if there was anything to worry about I'm sure.

Yes, being an old first timer, I'm very relieved, lol

Just received a letter from the hospital asking me to go in for a urine test ASAP... Helpful on a Friday afternoon haha xx

Bloody twats. I had a letter on a Friday after work 6 years ago saying my smear results were abnormal and I MUST call colposcopy URGENTLY TO BOOK AN URGENT APPOINTMENT. It went on to say things like PLEASE RESPOND URGENTLY and DO NOT DELAY.

Of course the colposcopy department was closed until Monday. I spent the weekend thinking I had ovarian cancer and wondering how bad it was and I'm in no way a panic prone person. It was CINIII hence the Lletz but when I called on the Monday to make an appointment, the woman said I'd already been booked in for an urgent appointment that Thursday. That really got me worried so I refused to let her off the phone until she gave me my results.

Laura, point it...these things can really worry us but if it was anything genuinely urgent, they d have done more than send a letter to get in touch. It's more likely that they needs to check before you go over a certain number of weeks. Xxx

Received my pregnancy pillow today, omg it's huge, but soooooo comfy can't wait to test it out tonight. Move over other half haha!!

uh oh shanivy what's happened? gota love these hormones

so for those who read my moan about my boobs being so swollen and not pretty well... something nearly as bad has happened

due to me having cold and husband being at the pub last night we haven't had sex since Sunday, he was being lovely this morning and made it clear what kind of night he was after tonight, anyway, during winter months I tend to use one of his old (not used) trimmers on my lady area to keep things neat but decided today to be extra nice and get the hair removal cream out. Sat on the floor with the mirror to apply it and honestly I wouldn't have known I was looking at my own bits. everything is swollen. not in a sore way but a bigger way. it really freaked me out, I'm sure I've got a varicose vein on my labia. pregnancy can be so unpleasant,May have to try and grow the hair to hide it all haha.

sorry that's all TMI but I'm not seeing my best friend until next Friday and I needed to say something

GG glad all your results came bk low risk

and yes ladies get the pregnancy pillows out! love mine

Lol I think we're past tmi here.. I saw mine at nine months with dd when I tried shaving with a mirror thinking I'd need to start sorting it out for labour. (Thinking I'd give a shit) Still had half the shaving cream on when I ran into OH in tears asking him to have a look and see what the fuck was going on. I mean really it was horrifying. Looked like I'd already had the baby ! Mine is okay at the minute but it's only a matter of time!

Ugh in laws just being so annoying and me running about for them with them being so bloody ungrateful . It's not worth boring you all with lol. I'm feeling okay now but was feeling murderous earlier lol. Hormones are kicking in rightly xx

Hahah tbh I've felt so shit I haven't even made an effort down there, OH just counts himself lucky I let him get any as it is. I really can't find the motivation to sort it out lol

I do mine still. But when my water broke with dd I got in the bath and thought ill shave while I've no pain. Hadn't really bothered in a bit except for "tidying" Couldn't see with the bump so just sort of felt it out quick worried my contractions would start lol. Started being sick soon after then my labour kicked in , ambulance ended up coming, was over so quick.

And it wasn't until I was in the shower after labour and the bump had disappeared I realised I'd randomly shaved and had weird patches. Looked like I had mange haha. Mortified! Xx

Haha my mum reckons they've dropped the original urine sample or messed it up. She had that recently with blood tests. Apparently someone dropped like 12 samples and they all had to go in and do them again... I spoke to the doctor yesterday and they want me to go in on Monday xx

Hahahaaa...mange!

Well fuck. I'm headed for a hard weekend I think. Been awake since 4 after not getting to sleep til gone 1.30. Have a pretty busy day today but hoping I can catch an hour's sleep this afternoon. Am doing the first carvery at the pub tomorrow though so it will be a late night and early morning for me and I kind of wish I had a fairy godmother to peel and prep all my veg, lol.

This afternoon, post nap, I will be mostly cooking Yorkshire puddings ready to be reheated quickly tomorrow. Gutted that it doesn't work for roast potatoes as well, lol.

I hope you manage to squeeze a nap in GG; good luck for your first carvery

quiet day for me today, I've got someone here giving the oven a valet atm it's a bit frivolous but I really don't feel like doing it so using the money my nana gave me for Xmas. after that I might go into town with DD, she's got a child's ISA but I'm not very happy with the interest rate so im hoping to shop around a bit for a better one when the new tax year starts. although the state of my oven the bank's might be shut by the time he's finished haha

husband is shooting all day and out with the boy's tonight so I'm going to watch a DVD and get a curry

have a nice weekend ladies
