Lol @ the dream but not at the lack of sleep.

I tried sleeping in bed last night and am pleased to report, it worked, I slept..quite well too which I really needed. I will kick this cold now!
 
I don't even envy you with your cold. I've had enough of them this pregnancy to last a lifetime. Fx it's a quick one! Xx
 
It seems like I was the only one who had a positive experience with the antenatal classes. The nurses were lovely and explained every little details incl. girl babies bleeding. They went through things like poo types and colour and what to look for. How to tell what the baby is crying for i.e if it is hungry or wet etc. They gave us each a doll and showed how to change them, hold them in the bath properly, how to dress them. It may seem like obvious things for some but me and OH never had a newborn to look after before so we actually learnt a lot and it helped us later when DD was born.

If I can manage I will take a breastfeeding class again. I really want to breastfeed now and I feel like I could do with extra help form the beginning.
 
Lack of sleep suck so bad!!!! I am still full of cold and tired after my holidays. But thank God DD and I slept well last night.

I was dreaming of having sex with some strangers.... I think they were TV characters.... like WHAT?!?!?! So weird! Sometimes it was me, sometimes I was just there like watching it on live show.... Bloody hormones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Who is going to open Tri 3 thread??? I think it is time??? Shep can already move and a few of us will move next week, correct? x

KHTW happy 26 weeks hun. :) Also as to antenatal classes, your area could just be very good for them. Mine weren't but I have heard lot of people liked them. I didn't have a breastfeeding class, I bought I book and practiced the positions over and over. I was obsessed with getting it right and I'm so glad I did because dd was so stubborn and hard to feed. Even the HV said so and my breastfeeding councillor I asked to be referred to :/ I think breastfeeding classes are such a great thing to try if you have them xx

So out of nowhere Ivy wanted to make her nursery teacher an Easter card last night so I was like um sure okay. I swear my hormones are fucking killing me his time. She took it in all proud of herself this morning and her teacher cried and hugged her and I swear I could have bawled over it. Almost did in front of everyone so unlike me!! This baby is kicking my ass
 
That's amazing about girls bleeding from female hormones!! I vaguely remember that happening with my niece and her mum freaking out about it. They should make it more clear!
Another weird one is that I read boys can have erections in the womb and not sure how I feel about that!! Very weird
 
When are you are you all starting your maternity leave?

I have 27 days leave to take so will be taking that first and plan to start that on 14th June, this takes me right up to my due date!!!

10 weeks left!!! xx

Going so quickly now isn't it.

Shan, that is so sweet, bless her. I'm now feeling quite glad I've been up and had a couple of days off as everyone is gearing up for a long weekend and I'll be non-stop now until Monday. I'm slightly dreading it but I will love it when I'm there. I can breath a bit better now and cough not so bad so feel ready to take it all on.

Jem, I'd never heard of that either.

Sarah, I'll be doing as much as I can for as long as I can.

Jem boys also get erections when they're younger too. It's weird. And they like to hold it and show you lol. "oh yeah that's great but can you put it away please" Didn't know that until I had nephews haha xx

I've missed so many posts but Im sorry I don't have the energy to go back again. About 2 weeks ago I caught a cold but it was the best cold ever, felt minging foe two days and that was it apart from a dry throat when I woke up, well it's come back and smacked me in the face I'm shattered. Those of you who don't have kids yet enjoy your brief moments of being alone. Not that I'm cursing DD but today is my one day without her this week and I'm trying to do the farm VAT while husband is ringing me every hour for something lambing related. I'd kill for some peace

KHTW I'm glad you had a good experience of antenatal classes. Sorry for the negative post yesterday but I really had been very disappointed in the classes I had
 
Ah Shep...what a shame you can't just turn everything off and have some proper me time.

I am sat here in total disbelief. I picked up a 1w inch ruler to work on some plans and suddenly realised my baby is w inches longer. I know baby is curled up but fuck me sideways, how the he'll is a 14 inch baby inside me??? I don't feel anywhere near big enough for a baby of that size to be in me.
 
So this afternoon I've been feeling a new type of movement from baby. The best way i can think to describe it is it feels like vibrations in my belly off and on. So weird. Has anyone else had this before?

Shep aw hun I hope you start to feel better soon. I know what you mean, as much as I live for Ivy it floored me being so ill before and trying to look after her too. The difference in this pregnancy and DDs is not being able to take time for youself in the the same way when you're sick and exhausted. I hope you get a break tonight xx
 
I feel like I'm really struggling to breathe. Having to take deep breaths and I just feel all restricted :( don't like it
