****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Haha PB beautiful breakfast! I wouldn't mind a fudge now you mention it... xx

Sarah, Yes, I had it on and off for about two weeks between 20 and 22 weeks. Not had it since.

Happy 25 weeks Shan...this is flying by now isn't it.

Janey and everyone...love your bumps. Will try to get a pic later.

KH, next time your mum says something like that that you really don't appreciate, smile and say, "I love that you have an opinion mum, but sharing it with me really isn't required and won't be listened to" then just carry on. If she's respectful of you, she'll back off, if not, she'll make a drama out of it and give you the opportunity to remind her that you are mum, end of and her criticisms are not welcome.

Honestly, if you don't address it, you're making a rod for your own back.

As for the visit in July, if this is what you get with a toddler, her attitude and a newborns would be a recipe for disaster. Get them in a B&B !

Lmao. We had a bad night with dd... She just scremed and screamd she was over tired and didnt wanna go to sleep, so that was fun. Gave her an extra bottle helped abit and all night she was screaming on and off. So this morning i was starving but lay on the settee not wanting to move.

Sounds like a really tough night PB! Hope you get some rest and your dd has settled xx

Im genuinely being pushed to the limit by my mother today, we are going down to the housing executive tomorrow to see if theres any solution as we haven't a deposit and can't afford to rent but we are no where near saving towards a house deposit which was why we had moved in here- too much debt to clear including money I owe my mum and she never lets off about- I mean I only get paid once per month so inbetween I can't help you crazy lady.

We also got a very welcome email from the sols that my husbands residential visa is FINALLY back from getting its amendments...only been waiting on this since xmas haha and then we had applied in freaking June in the first place.
Sooo excited, we are going to go to the city tomorrow to collect it from his office and I swear if theres another mistake on it imma lose my mind haha then we can renew my hubbys passport and get his provisional driving licence. xx

You need out of that house, you really do, so best of luck for tomorrow xxx

My mum bought DD a fudge today to bring home with her and I'm dying to eat it! My food intake today, eggs and soldiers, a banana, vanilla milkshake, small bowl of porridge, bacon brie and cranberry toastie and most of DD's chips which she refused o eat while out. I'm lying in bed with DD while she naps and considering making a cup of tea and having some biscuits. I need to stop eating!

Physio went well, she gave me a few exercises to do and a big band to wear. She said I've still got plenty of strength and even my flexibility is still good but said baby must be lying on the right side nearly all of the time as that hip is much stiffer

Talking of parents and kids, my DD is generally good although doesn't react well to more then one person telling her what to do which means my mum drives me mad as she tries to talk over me. Anyway just went put for lunch, the chairs were a bit annoying in that DD could fit her legs through this wooden gap and get tangled up. She hurt her knee so I asked her not to do it again as she might break a leg, she kept doing it and eventually I snapped at her to stop it now or I'd take her home. Mum looked at me like I was the worst parent ever and said "she's only little you know, come sit with me darling I'll look after you" I hadn't even shouted, but I was like "I've asked her 5/6 times not to do that, saying she's only little won't cut it if she breaks a leg". Thankfully DD was like "no nana I want to sit with mummy" I was so mad at mum, DD was in the wrong and I hate people trying to gloss over it

Same to you GG  I didn't realise lol oops!! But another week down its crazy. I meant to say, fab about midwife. Sounds like a section is definitely the right plan for you I'm glad she's in your corner. And as long as you get up and moving when they make you Im sure you'll be fine! You're not exactly a sedentary person lol so I'd bet recovery will be speedy anyway. I'm a little jealous you'll have an exact date to meet baby lol Xx

PB sounds like a tough night hun I hope she's better tonight for you to catch up on some sleep. Superwoman over there looking after dd right now plus growing a baby I swear! Eat ALLLL the fudge you deserve it lol :hugs: xx

Laura ugh I hope they can help you. You may need to say your mum is chucking you out though. Maybe have her say she is and see what they say about it? You definitely deserve a stress free last few months of pregnancy and I'm not sure you'll ever get that in her house. So fx for you! Good news about hubby too xx

Shep that's great physio was helpful. Interesting that baby's position makes a difference I honestly didn't realise it would.
There must be something going around we're all so greedy lately lol. I just had some custard with Ivy. For no other reason than I wanted it. Have a really bad habit of asking her does she want something so I can use her as my excuse  She asked me can we have enchiladas for dinner tonight and I was like omg yes haha.

I'd have been mad too if that was me about DD. There's nothing wrong with telling them off or being stern when normal telling doesn't work. I've seen some kids out and I just think I'm glad that's not my child. My mil does that "come here to me and" crap if Ive told her off and I'll be like "No she won't " Nothing worse than someone making you the bad one in your child's eyes for just parenting them. Thankfully your dd was having none of it! xx

My sisters MIL did that to her once when I was at the table with them. My sister had previously moaned A LOT about this, so I chimed in and said, "pretty sure my sister is the parent, not you".

We used to get along fine, but as soon as grandchildren became involved, I became very protective of my sister. She says it all herself now though, lol. I think it was two Christmases ago, my youngest niece wanted to wear her new giraffe onesy and my sisters MIL said, no, she sould wear the pretty dress as it was Christmas dinner. My sister told Sian to wear the onesy if she wanted and her MIL said not to be silly and little girls should look pretty at the table. My sister was brilliant, she said, "Well this little girl is my little girl so if I say she can wear what she wants, that's exactly what's going to happen".

I laughed out loud much to her MIL's annoyance. Sian thought it was great and we loved having a Giraffe at the table. It wasn't even a proper lunch...it was two days after boxing day FFS, lol

Grandparents... honestly! I have no problem speaking my mind and I told them straight she was my daughter and what I say goes BUT even tho they heard me they just continue giving her what she wants even if it means her making a mess or brake things. I give up... 4 more days and we will be home, back to our routine!! X

I think you're amazing. I'd end up doing a 25 year stretch, lol

Lol KHTW roll on Monday!! Could be worse you could be me and they could have moved around the corner "to be closer to the children" :wall: xx

I can't stop drinking milk! Must be a craving I'm usually not that interested. Just had almost a pint glass of it :/

Same here, either straight or with chocolate nesquick. Especially at night as well. Can't get enough.

Morning ladies I hope you've all had a decent sleep. Yesterday DD asked me to put her doddy on the fire (totally of her own accord) and said she was ready for her present and to not have doddies anymore, well come bedtime she was desperate to have it back, cue loads of tears and didn't get her to bed until nearly 9, it was so emotionally draining but while she woke up in tears at 530 she's actually feeling good about it this morning

My milk craving isn't as strong this week, although I'm still having a pint or two a day

Shanivy I wasn't ignoring your comment the other day about the trip thread, I'll start one next time I'm on the laptop, should be easier as I'll just copy and past your first post and if anyone wants any changes they can DM me as I often miss little posts

Oh bless her. Glad she's better about it this morning though.

I can't believe how quickly Tri 3 has come around. Officially less than two weeks away and it's suddenly dawned on me that I really need to start planning for someone to come into the pub to help me out soon ready to take the reins in a couple of months. I'll keep going myself as long as I can, but these babies don't hang around do they.

I can also feel how much baby has grown in the past week as well. My uterus is significantly bigger now and I'm feeling the weigh of baby when I do things around the yard and fields now, lol.

Hope you all got some decent sleep in last night. I did, until about 5.15am but baby decided that would be a good time to practice doing the hop, skip and jump, lol

Shep no worries I didn't think you ignored me about the thread post, I was just gonna do it at the weekend, if you want to make one up instead go for it hun. Ridiculous we even need one. I can't keep up with how fast these pregnancies are going! Aw fab, good for dd throwing it away all by herself. A few nights of tears is to be expected. Im sure you're exhausted. Though hopefully with a full day without one today, come tonight she'll not feel so much of a need. Fx you'll be sorted by the weekend!xx

No sleep for me I'm afraid. I'm so uncomfortable! But not really sure why as I don't think it's baby as such. My bump and ribs are just so sore every time I wake up during the night. And it takes me so long to get comfortable if I get up to the bathroom. I'm pretty grumpy this morning too because of it. I'm so screwed for 3rd tri lol

Its scary how close we are to tge third tri... Like next month we will be 30 weeks. I feel like weve only just found out still lmao.

It is so scary how close third tri is! The amount of pain I have with my spd, I'm definitely not looking forward to third tri and getting bigger haha.
I had the most beautiful dream last night, gave birth to my little boy and he was so gorgeous. Woke up crying haha x
