****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Fela, you are unable to travel due to pregnancy related risk...your manager will just have to suck it up, end of.

KH, that sounds a lovely weekend. Bet you're counting down the days to holiday now.

Shan, I'm glad you had a cry. It has to come out some time and that was clearly perfect timing. Hope they can give you something. We also have the PAX wardrobes from Ikea. Had them years no but they will be coming down soon and sold so we can make use of the whole space of the recesses that they sit in.

Shep, have fun with your DIY day. I like to do things like that as well. I will be this afternoon actually. Dan is dreading painting our bedroom so I'm going to just do it in a bit, before he gets home. Our sky box has bitten the dust this morning and the engineer is not coming til Thursday so I think I'll be doing rather a lot of housework, lol. Good though, It needs doing before baby comes.

Jem, your poor sister. Having to wait for anything like that must be hell. There's another member that Shan and I have been chatting to on another thread who has had a dreadful wait that likely won't be over any time soon and I can't even imagine the turmoil. Hopefully the scan on Wednesday will prove to be reassuring in there being nothing too serious to worry about.

As for your bump size, when people say anything to me, I just say, "It's mostly fat, but thanks for reminding me". I don't give a shit whether they think I'm being funny or rude because they didn't give a shit about saying anything in the first place, lol.

Oh and Shan...your bump looks perfect to me.

Right, my lie in was lovely, walk around the horses was lovely...now it's time for lunch, painting and housework. Joys of a day off, lol.

GG thanks me too. I hope it's a different person on reception when I go in lol. Glad you had a your lie in but what a way to spend your day off...housework ffs haha. Xx

PB hope you had a nice first Mother's Day with your baby and baby to be! I just noticed I've not seen you in here for a little bit. Xx

Not seen Laura for a while either. Might shoot her a message on Facebook.

Oh that's right her post last time was about her pain, swelling of some kind in the womb if I remember? Hope she's doing okay xx

Just chatting to her now. All okay, just very busy. Xxx

Lol im here just been lurking, ive not much to say lol boring life of mine :p
I had a good mothers day, we went to my moms and ohs moms on the saturday, and hubby took us to twycross zoo, then for a meal for dinner. Spd killing me, had to walk an hour in the rain as in rain that has flooded most the road to get some.bloody eletric (on metre) and you know some people are absolute ****s, druve through the flood fast so people walking get soaked... I had a fking pushchair. Ugh. But got some good deals on mothers day stuff for next year. Oh asda has a sale on clothes, got some vest and baby grows for dd, and a little brother outfit for baby. Got my hospital pjs for 5 and a coming home top for 1 lol. They had lovely dressing gowns so fluffy half price but meant to be saving so i didnt get one lol. They had girls and boys coats like really good ones for 6/8 quid didnt have the size i wanted tho :( x

PB glad to hear you're doing good you lurker lol. Thanks in McDonald's now gonna head to Asda after see their sale. Xx

Doctors was interesting. Was tachycardic when I went in and he wanted me to go to hospital. But it came down a bit. Ended up phoning obstetrics. Spent ages in there getting my bp and heart rate checked and rechecked etc. And came out with no antibiotics at all ffs. Since I'm asthmatic, pregnant and allergic to penicillin he's gonna have to phone up some other department at the hospital and get back to me either today or tomorrow. Said I definitely need something but he's no idea what. So that's that ?!

What a worry!
He probably doeasnt wanna risk giving you something without a second opinion. Hopefully ypu get back in today. X

Ah Shan...sounds like a horrible visit. I'm glad the GP is being cautious and making sure you get the right thing to help. Annoying though.

PB, I hate that you got soaked by drivers! You are absolutely right aboit some people!

I'm used to it with my allergy plus asthma it's always difficult so I usually don't bother. But I was just like "are you definitely going to call me?" About five times haha how embarrassing

Aw PB haha missed that past about you getting soaked. Sorry . I remember walking just behind someone with a pram years ago and somebody in a boy racer car soaked her on purpose. Then he got stopped at the lights and she caught up and battered the shit out of his car with her umberella lol. Always said I'd do the same thing...shitheads xx

Good morning!

I was posting my reply yesterday and hit the return button on my phone... all gone arhghhhh!!

Shep, good luck with you appointment today. You should never feel like you are wasting doctor's time, that is their job x

Shan, that sucks bad! But there must be something they can give you. I mean you are not the only pregnant person in the world with asthma and allergy to penicillin!!

Jem, I hope you sister gets reassured at her appointment, it must be a stressful time for the whole family x

PB, some drivers will really drive through puddles on purpose! I hope the asshole lost a tire on a pot hole somewhere!! x

Fela, fingers crossed your manager understands - well he is daft is he doesn't! I think you are making the right decisions x

I had my 24 week appt with midwife yesterday and got to listen to LO's heart, which was lovely. Blood pressure OK, urine sample OK. Next appointment in 4 weeks time for bloods.

I have an extra nhs scan at 30 weeks which I thought was for growth but MW said yesterday that it is too early for that and most likely they will scan my pelvis are to see if there is any indication that baby no.2 may get stuck again. Anyone had this before??x

Glad appointment went well yesterday hun. Never even heard of them scanning your pelvis but that definitely sounds like a good thing for sure given how your last labour went. I'm sure it would be very reassuring if they came back and told you it was unlikely to happen again? Xx

Just waiting on doctors phoning me this morning. Had this before with tonsillitis pregnant with dd and they couldn't find anything to give me. I'm hoping this won't be the case. He seemed to suggest if I couldn't get anything to help speed up and my bp and heart rate were still high he'd like me monitored in hospital. Which with dd is just not feasible as bad as I feel. Mil is driving her to nursery this morning. Well fx.

Gosh Shan, I wouldn't want to be put in hospital for monitoring either!! Honestly this sounds like a nightmare. I still hope he finds something to give you. Good idea having MIL taking DD to nursery. Maybe ask her if she could have her this afternoon and you rest? x

Yes, I really hope they may say that all looks fine and there is a little chance that baby would get stuck. But even then I know I will worry sick about that little chance. Will have to wait and see x

I'm sorry you're having a hard time at the moment Shan, I hope you can avoid hospital... perhaps you do need a bit of a rest as KHTW said and get MIL to look after dd for the day at least? I can't imagine how tough it must be to be pregnant and poorly and looking after a child, it's important to give yourself the time sometimes..

Manager was absolutely fine and very supportive yesterday, I ended up feeling like I'd been overly worrying. But it's all been said now so they know I won't go anywhere that involved a plane now :)

Hope everyone is well, the baby was giving me a good kicking last night!

Hi ladies! Had a busy weekend with a friend visiting. Hope you all had a great Mother's Day.

Aww Shan, you're really going through it at the moment. I hope they find something you can take.

Jem, I hope you and your sister are doing alright. I can't imagine what she must be going through right now.

Fela, I think we do tend to overworry sometimes! I'm glad everything was fine with your manager. Flying isn't much fun when pregnant.

I had more bloods taken today to test my thyroid, which I really think they are overreacting about after my 16 week appointment showing I hadn't put on any weight. So now I'll have to wait for my 24 week appointment in a couple of weeks to see what they say. I've got the doctors tomorrow though to see if they can do anything about the pain in my coccyx. It's still agony after two weeks and hubby has had enough of my moaning haha so made me book an appointment. I'm still not convinced they'll actually be able to do/give me anything but we'll see.

Afternoon ladies

How are you all today?

Shanivy I hope the Dr has called you back! How are you feeling?

Jem how has your sisters app gone today?

Had my consultant app which went OK. They were running 90mins behind which was ridiculous. Especially for husband who thought he was taking 30mins out of work. It's ages away but I've been booked in for sweeps to start at 38 weeks!

Honestly I was so so bored waiting, and the worst part was I'd skipped my 10am snack for it haha just had a huge plate of beans on toast I was starving.

Yeah booked in but it's just for a sweep and I have my doubts anything g will happen, don't really think my sweep worked last pregnancy at 41 weeks
