*** January 2020 Mummies ***

Ladies I am feeling very poorly today and can't eat anything been sick twice. I am worried that I haven't eaten it will starve the baby please someone help me x
Maybe it's a bug? I had it during my first pregnancy. I couldn't hold anything down and had such bad diarrhea. I was stuck to my bed for 5 days and only drank water, water and even more water, it kept coming back up too, but I was sure some of it was being absorbed. I do think I kept my prenatals down and tried to eat some toast on day 3.
The baby was fine, they need so little when still so young.
Just make sure you don't get dehydrated hun. Hope you feel better soon!x

Thank you so much for your help and advice made my mind alot more at ease now. I think it is the bug as I can't even keep a plain piece of toast down. Once again thanks for getting back to me xx

How are you all doing?
I pretty much am symptoms free now, except a bump and still getting super tired. I can feel the baby move at times, I'm not surprised though as it's my 4th pregnancy that went past 9 weeks. It's nice but frustrating as it obviously can't be felt from the outside yet.
Not looking forward to the heat predicted for this week. It's just way too warm for my liking :gun:

Yes the heat is killing! We got a mobile airconditionner for the night as we sleep under the roof. It's impossible to get some shut eye otherwise.
You're so lucky you're feeling some movement! I'm not sure I have felt anything anymore, and even though I shouldn't worry, I wish I could feel her. My bump is still quite small but gets bigger during the day. I don't think people can see it yet, I just look a bit fatter around the middle. My DD was trying to ride through my legs lol!

I'm also almost symptoms free, only need to be careful to NOT eat dessert or fruit after a big meal because that seems to give me heartburn. But as long as I don't mix up sweets into the meal, then all good. I also feel quite energetic - have been walking around more than usual and I'm enjoying it.

I definitely have a bump! I was quite thin pre-pregnancy so I feel like my bump is very visible to anyone who knows me but strangers don't seem to notice. I've already bought some maternity clothes and a few stretchy dresses and I'm enjoying wearing those and feeling super comfortable :)

@Zara96 - I was vomiting a LOT from week 7 till week 12... My go-to foods were boiled or baked potatoes with a bit of butter and salt, having one bite every 5 minutes. At the times of worst nausea, I literally timed every bite. It seemed to work as there was never much in my stomach so even when I would vomit, I could tell that it wasn't everything I had eaten. Also I was drinking water only 1 hour after eating so as not to add volume to the little food I could manage to eat and that helped too. I also read about an Ayurvedic recipe for nausea -> honey and lemon water. That also helped me, pure water only made me more nauseous. I hope you feel better soon!

@Kitana I wish I would have so little
Here is a picture from this morning from above view. Didn't think of doing one sideways. I took it to show my mum how big it looks Haha

I'm seriously struggling with the heat today but have to go out in a minute for a presentation from my son. I hope the place has good air conditioning or I'll just melt

Oh wow! You are really showing already @vampysgirl! What a lovely bump! I think one is going to be just like my daughter. I didn't show properly until I was 5 and a half months or so! I guess I have a lot of space in there!
Get a mini fan! I have one I can clip onto the pram and sometimes take it with me if it's super hot! The positive thing is that after such heat, there is always a sort of depression making it rain and cool down hopefully! Drink lots of water!x

Ahhh I found you all!! This is where you were hiding! Lol :D I had my scan yesterday, it was amazing, new due date is 23rd January. I am a week further than I thought. 13 weeks and 5 days today. How is everyone doing? Xx

Welcome to the second trimester! I've added you to the list @NicoMaria!

Are you finding out the gender?x

Ah thank you :D Yes, we asked yesterday but it was too soon! We will hopefully find out at our 20 week scan on 5th September! Im not sure how to add a photo of my scan on here? Are you finding out the gender? x

Just ordered some maternity clothes. Very exciting. Got a pregnancy pillow coming to. Had a horrendous night last night. Between the heat and my hips hurting.
Got my 20 week scan on the 6th sept. I can’t wait. X

When you post a reply, press the upload a file button and add the photo you want. If you take a screenshot of the photo first, it will work better since the forum doesn't accept large files.
We're expecting a little girl again!

I feel you! My hips are getting bad too but I have been sleeping since the beginning with a pregnancy pillow and have had only a few very painful days. Now when I have to lift anything, I ask the OH. It spares my poor hips and my mood!
Where did you order you clothes?x

5th of September is my next scan too. Going to be an exciting day for a few here

Oh I can’t wait for my pillow to come. I ordered some clothes from new look and some things from mothercare. I had a look on H&M but not sure what their sizes are like. Should all be here in the next day or 2 xx

I have a few H&M pants and shirts and am quite happy with them, but I bought them in the store because I wanted to make sure they were the right size. It's a bit too hot for pants though! Have been walking around the house in a bikini today. Soooo horribly hot! I usually wear a lot of dresses and I still fit in them so will wait as long as possible before buying anything new.

How is everyone doing in this heat?? I feel my feet and lower legs are swollen and as I am typing this, my little furball cat decides to come cuddle into my side, as if it's not hot enough yet!

Anyone feel any regular movement yet?x

My feet and lower legs are a bit puffy. Def off the heat though. Yesterday was such a struggle in the heat. I must have had a dozen cold showers lol.
I might pop in H&M when i’m next in Newcastle. That’s the closest H&M to me. I’d rather see them in person before I order x

@Kitana - just caught up in this thread.
Massive congrats on another baby girl <3 xxx
Thank you! We're really happy! Sisters usually stick together so hopefully they will be close. And it will save us quite some money too
I was very girl-oriented when buying toys, clothes and accessories, with my first, so luckily I won't have to buy everything again!

Thank you for your message! I hope you get lucky this cycle!x
